The chief of army staff lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has given all the commanders at all level a warning consigning the fight against Boko haram. The warning was contained in a 180-word memo. OKOROBLOG, Reports.

The general said that any commander that abandons his duty will face a very ruff punishment as enumerated in the Armed Forces Act

According to the general Buratai, he said “Recent occurrence in” ‘Operation Lafiya Dole’ “where troops abandoned their positions cowardly in the face of attack” from Boko Haram terrorists “without reasonable resistance is worrisome, “It also has the potentials to rubbish all the laudable gains made” in the war against Boko Haram
