Majority of the comments from guys justify rape ( forget the - “I’m not justifying rape”clause) and the funny thing is just as a guy rapes someone else’s sister or daughter for sure someone will do it to yours as well ! In the entitlement to sex culture that men have created they don’t seem to understand that they too will have people close to them become victims but they don’t care . It’s sad

rape is a kind of societal misnomer created when we didn't raise gentlemen... we promote sex as an entitlement without the inherent responsibilities...

The girl in question is an adult in 300L.
The mother is not obliged to sponsor her/his university education but she still does.
The non Africans you mentioned earlier understand that fact well. They kick their kids out by age 18, especially a child with an attitude.
A non afeican child would probably be living on her own, working menial jobs in factories, stores by now to make ends meet.
In as much as I support the fact that parents are reponsible for any child they birth, their reponsibility ends once the child attains the legal status of an adult. Any thing they do after that is done strictly out of love and nothing else.

OP,
Work on your attitude towards your mum.
Take a step backwards and start LISTENING.
Don't be in a rush to do things. Start spending time with your mum, don't try to be stubborn with her. Just calm down and actually start listening to her. You are no longer a child. She's probably worried about you that you won't be able to cope in the world out there because of your attitude.
Start helping out more in the house, even before she requests for help/tells you to clean up the house. Dont wait for your younger ones to do things. If you can't do the things/cleaning the house yourself, then learn to supervise your younger ones to do so.

A good number of Nigerian men are rapists - that’s why you see them jumping up and down on these stories because they need to justify what they consider as normal which is now being stigmatized and criminalized !

the family structure among the black race is flawed. Anyone who births a Child has the full responsibility to cater for their own kids. Its not a privilege on the part of the child but a right. If you aren't ready to cater for a kid, don't birth one.

Now to the matter, hustle hard and one day it would pay. Just be prepared to leave home cause it might never end.
