Decisions like these should have been taken in the early years of this regime. The Orosanye's report is more than 7 years old and should have been implemented. Too many MDAs are just carrying out duplicating roles. They should be scrapped with immediate effect. Another thing now would be that there won't be any government jobs at the federal level for a long time. |
mizz2posh:Even with booster shot, you can still test positive with COVID. What the vaccine does is not to prevent, but to help you fight it when you are down with it. Unfortunately, a lot of people have led dangerous lifestyles and now have to make do with a weakened immune system. |
A bill that the house has been on for years having such errors. I think some people really don't understand the gravity of their actions and so take everything for granted. How can such a bill that has a lot of consequences on the country's future be treated like every other bill ? As for the CSOs, last week they were all berating the president for not signing, now they are seeing errors. Like I always say, lots of people just make noise cause they can not cause they have substance. |
Now with such a research, everyone who hasn't tested positive should endeavour to take the vaccine as soon as they can to avoid issues. The research doesn't say anything about what to do if you have recovered from severe Covid. Seems the disease is worse than we first feared. This is going to be a very long road. |
Kingofhoes:You have to write a new UTME |
The Maj Gen with panache. |
Now this is very commendable, for a project of this magnitude to be completed in 15 months would be massive especially for those around that axis. Next should be the coastal railway line from Lagos to Calabar connecting all the ports and coastal cities. That should end up being the busiest as time goes on. |
If the governor is anything to go by considering his online gangs and their hype, the school would one day get an uplift. The fact that the state government sent you there to teach means they know about the school. Do your best and one day the sun would smile on you. |
Well, the president visits and there are protocols to be made. That's all. Nothing new. |
lexy2014:Ask the senator who wants to ensure it. Have you ever tried to apply for something from the FG and you have to go to Abuja instead of just visiting their secretariat in your state. It's like the FG parastatals close to you. |
Ilaumoh:The one they want to build is from where again ? Space ![]() |
Ilaumoh:Federal project ? It's a state project. The Lekki deep seaport. |
Just serve the punishment then keep your head low. Everything isn't judged on social media. |
lexy2014:Simple, federal workers in the state have a place to work that is conducive and the FG won't be paying rent. Saves costs on governance and improved productivity among civil servants. |
Somewhere in Nigeria, a state has done her deep seaport over 70 percent and almost close to commissioning yet they aren't making noise about it. This one have not even started ground work and they are just disturbing the place. |
The governor hasn't seen a need for the federal secretariat if not 72 hours is enough to get it done. |
Princedapace:And that doesn't make Nigeria a giant ? Really ? Have you ever represented the country in any international fora before, just do and see why we are called giants. |
MASTERCHIEF0847:If your president is incompetent, it says a lot about you. |
Presidents or two African Giant countries. More strength to them. |
5 billion naira donation no be small money o. Congratulations sir. Let's all join hands and save the children indeed. |
In a report that took almost a year to come about, such mistakes shouldn't be made at all. It calls into question the amount of other fictions all over the report. Makes one wonder if there was actually truth in all the panel presided over. Even if it takes two more years, let the truth be revealed. |
murmee:I don't know why the state is delaying in making that declaration. Just do it once and for all. |
seyz91:Well true but then crime fighting has made me see things from a different perspective |
It's really a two way street. The way politics is played in Nigeria gives little or no room to serve except you want to damn the consequences. People supported your candidacy and so expect something in return. You have to oblige. Those you cannot give positions get rewards in cash and kind, how do you go about it without stealing. If you decide to serve damning the consequences, you would face a lot of sabotage that would make your work seem non existent. At that point you have either continue working or just take what you can and move. PS: Men and Women alike loot in politics. |
seyz91:I really don't like to join arguments but I have to wade in on this one. For now bikes aren't banned totally in Lagos, they are restricted however they break laws with impunity and so they are a nuisance. About a month plus ago, while the police tried to enforce the ban in certain areas, one of them was killed. That's how bad it has gotten to. I fight crimes and I can tell you for a fact, total bike ban would leave the state saner than it is now. |
I have no issues with the crushing, I just feel it should not stop. They must continue till the nuisance on our roads are taken off. A total ban on okada is what is left. No need to restrict them. |
