What for? I haven't heard of any strides in the navy. I haven't even heard of them attacking the militants on the sea, which is actually supposed to be part of their duty.
that's cause you don't want to know.

In Nigeria, we are afraid of soldiers because you can't predict a soldier's response to "Good morning sir". You could end up doing frog jump for that.

So please tell your colleagues to act civilized then they will get their respect. I know that not all of them are brutal but a lot act like they are under some influence.
not under any influence but the rugged training we receive here in Nigeria has changed their physique forever.

Interestin..perhaps things are changing for the better.
I want to go for SSC after I finish uni, perhaps the need for a military sponsor would be much more relaxed by then.
very true....always chase your dreams no matter the circumstances.

In case you dont know(but I suspect you do),the military DSSC/SSC programmes requires a "sponsor",without that sponsor, even if you are qualified, you cant be considered.
Military institutions like NDA and even Command are now by specific recommendation, not by merit.
Of course, I stand to be corrected with higher facts.
am a cadet of NDA .. Bring on something else
