You may be raising some concerns, but I'm not sure how valid these your concerns are.

It's true that MTN has regulatory issues to deal with. That's something MTN will settle with Nigerian government over the course of time. The numbers we see today suggest the company has strong going concern status and this is expected to continue going into the future.

The reason MTN did a listing by introduction is because the management of the company believe they have no need to raise an additional capital at this time. I also do not see a problem with big investor's divesting and this should not even happen based on numbers we see.

The stock market is great because it gives free entry and exit. The onus is on investors to determine their strategy, make wise choices and cover their position.

If you say the management of Mtn believes they have no need to raise an additional capital at this time, why did Mtn borrow 200 Billion from 7 banks just last Friday?

Gbenga Aluko is on the board of Mtn and his firm Aluko and Oyebode advised Mtn on the syndicated loan on Friday and would be paid by Mtn. Doesn't this tell you something?

I honestly felt Fashola was the joker.

Baba mi, Tinubu has been giving hints to those close to him that he's running. In fact, Sanwo-olu's cabinet is intended to consolidate, finance and propel the SW 23 candidacy.

But here's the thing. A Muslim can't succeed a Muslim. That rules Fashola and Tinubu out. Secondly, they need someone with sort of national acceptance. Someone that Buhari's goodwill can rub off on. Those trader moni trips aren't for nothing.

Tinubu would play the politics of 23 and someone else would handle the administrative aspect. It's a game of good cop-bad cop. Attract controversy and let the candidate quietly work without attracting enemies.

They would spend time fighting Tinubu who is their enemy but they would ignore Oluleke who is their opponent. By the time they discover, or would be too late. Fight enemy, leave opponent. Why won't they lose?

Oluleke is Osinbajo's middle name.

FYI, Tinubu isn't running in 2023. A Yoruba man is running but not Tinubu. He would 'stand down' for someone that appeals to the entire South and has wife acceptance in the North. What he's doing is attract opposition to himself and deflect it from his candidate.

On the surface, i felt it might be a good long-term investment though i wasn't planning to invest in MTN simply because they are South Africans and their cut throat mentality towards Nigerians.

Quite a number of my past posts as Generalikemba et al. have been critical of MTN, DSTV, Protea etc.

They mercilessly fleece Nigerians with the connivance of our greedy leaders.

Thank you bro, i would be discussing this post with some of my less finicky pals who might want to invest.

Bro, there's going to be massive dumping of Mtn shares via an impending IPO.

Here is how it would happen. Mtn Mauritius (shell company for the true owners) would offload shares via IPO. They may retain like 20% ownership but you'll realise something.

For instance, their shares today are worth 90 Naira and they have 100 shares, you sell 100 shares.

Next 3 months, through hyping and psychological manipulations, you float an IPO and it shoots to 500 Naira and you sell 80 shares out of the 100.

You argue with Nigerians that you're not running away as you still have 20 shares but in reality, you've made more than you would have made if you even sold the entire 100. Exit is then sweet.

If you can get Mtn to buy, buy but don't intend to hold for long. Buy and sell. If you are risk averse, stand down.

I pity those using their gratuity to buy Mtn shares.

Before you put 1 Naira in the Nigerian stock exchange, go and watch THE WOLF OF WALL STREET. Nigerian Stock Exchange is a place run by Judas Iscariots. Go and find out what Ndi Okereke Onyuike did there. Go and find out what Transcorp did there.

People regularly get burnt in that place of corporate scammers, you need sound financial education to make money there.

Let me tell you a secret Mtn doesn't want you to know. There is a company called MTN International (Mauritius) Limited, which has the controlling 76.08 per cent equity, or 15,485,544,050 shares valued at about N309.71 billion. Once they recoup their money paid as fine with extra by gullible Nigerians, they are getting out. That's exactly how Etisalat got a cash investment and Mudabala telecoms (the Arab owners) ran off with the money.

What most people don't know is that just last Friday, Mtn borrowed 200 Billion for a 7 year tenure from a consortium of banks just Friday 17th of May.

You see that fine mtn paid, they are stylishly collecting it back from Nigerians. They would eventually dump everything and run off like Etisalat. They are scamming as much people as possible preparatory to running away.

The banks they obtained the loan from know this but they don't care. They would willingly take over mtn like they did to Etisalat.

This same Gbenga Oyebode on Mtn board is the chairman of Access bank. Go and find out what Access bank did to Etisalat.

5 days after made this post, EFCC raided Mtn's head office for alleged manipulation of the stock market. For those insulting me for saying the truth, don't let your greed make you support your fellow humans being fleeced by crooks.
