So the acclaimed educated southerners want to blame Buhari for herdsmen crisis in Southern Nigeria when he was the president.

What's the usefulness of the education of the southerners if some few illiterate herdsmen can come to their land and sack their farmers?
So,what will be the usefulness of your education if armed robbers come knocking on your door?

It the late BUHARI that is to blame.

He introduced Fulani ethnic supremacy' into the Nigerian polity, all else like ipob is as a reaction to the fulani supremacy project

A very accurate and perfect survey.

I hope by the time the FG is ready to do the proper census we won't have any region opposing it.

Meanwhile, I'm laughing at some people trying to fault the stats, no how the South can come near the North in numbers.

Check around and see their governors, the number of their wives, and children and go out there to interview an average northerners, a man of below 30 years old is already with over 5 children.
Remove the Middlebelt which are generally an extension of the south, the SOUTH n middlebelt trumps the north by far

Smh. You don’t get it.

Brass o, Bonny o, Nembe o, even GEJ's place with those tiny fishing settlements in between don't need this kind of huge infrastructural project. You don’t even understand what I mean by social cost. Some people from this area are still living in IDP camps till today since the last flooding disaster of over a year ago! Are these the people who need bridges and huge roads inn the middle of nowhere? They will leave IDP camps to leave on roads and bridges?

I am not debating the utility value of roads and bridges generally but the opportunity cost peculiar to this kind of places and its demographics please.

Below is the picture of ConocoPhillips platform in Alaska that produces more petroleum than the whole of Niger Delta. How many bridges or roads do you see there? You can't even get my point.

O ji shaaro o
The road was built for oil companies, they don't give a damn about the people, likewise most people in Nigeria don't care about their fellow poor, all the like is the big foreign companies they think they'll get crumbs from

Yesterday, riots broke out in Angola, over increase in fuel price as their government withdraws fuel subsidy.

4 people were killed during the riots.

As one of the largest crude oil producers in Africa, Angola's government and politicians have been spending lavishly in recent years, while subsidising all sorts of things to keep it's citizens 'happy'.

Infact, Luanda, the capital of Angola is more expensive than London or Paris. Such is the level of petro-dollar spending in the country in recent years.

Now, their chicken is coming home to roost. The government is in massive debt. The Angola government can't afford most subsidies anymore. Citizens who thought the fake subsidised life will continue forever are in shock that it will have to stop. smiley

The Op, along with many Nigerians, just refuse to face reality.

For a long time to come, no Nigerian government will reverse fuel subsidy, if ever. Nor will another Nigerian government reintroduce subsidised dollar exchange rate.

Nigeria simply can't afford it.

It is time for Nigerias to roll up their sleeves and work. The government should only help the poorest. Able bodied people have to find their own way out.
Nigeria doesn't have money for subsidy but has money to splash 100k dolls for few people

I may not have a better idea; but my point is that, is the current economic plan of this administration intended to make life harder for Nigerians and make people poorer? I guess no! I believe that isn't the intention of president Tinubu. The blueprint may have worked on paper or in other countries; however, it isn't working here based on the economic reality on ground. So, the economic team needs to restrategize. They need to come up with something that relates with what's on ground.
Tinubu will not listen,be actually believes he is in the right and his policies are working ,and those complaining are only doing it because they oppose him

You people never learn.

Let me tell you something. Nigeria was borrowing and paying BILLIONS OF DOLLARS annually to keep the Naira artificially high valued.

Do you have the money to repay for such craziness?

Here's the deal. And every Nigerian should know this.

The ONLY way to raise the value of the Naira is for at least 30% of Nigerians to decide to buy MADE IN NIGERIA over foreign made goods and services.

Note that I didn't say ALL Nigerians.

Just 30%.

And by 'Buy Made in Nigeria', I mean your clothes, shoes, cars, handbags, women deciding to elevate indigenous plaits and braids over spending 1 billion dollars annually importing Brazilian dog hair and bleaching creams to look white.

Men preferring ABA-MADE SHOES to Italian. Instead of scorning your own indigenous products as 'local'.

That attitudinal change alone can create 20 million new jobs for local hair stylists and other indigenous manufacturers and innovators and shore up the Naira virtually overnight.

Our preference for imports is our biggest problem.

It destroys local initiative.

Imagine a Nigerian youth, Audu, that's a skilled watchmaker.

He makes his wristwatches in his makeshift backyard factory and offers them for sale to traders.

You, a Nigerian, walk into the shop to buy a wristwatch.

You see his wristwatch. Made in Nigeria.

You see the wristwatch next to his. Made in Switzerland.

Which one do you pick?

Don't bother responding. We know the answer.

That is why your currency value is LOW.

The Swiss watch is about dollars and Euros, hence the greater demand for those currencies than naira. Hence their high value.

It's simple mathematics you people refuse to learn, as you cover yourselves in imported jeans, t shirts and sneakers, all costing dollars, instead of your local danshiki that is in Naira.

And until your attitudes towards your OWN indigenous innovation changes, your currency value will ALWAYS be low.

And the saddest thing is that as you grow richer, the more foreign your tastes become.

You crave for less 'local' stuff.

It's not about Tinubu or govt.

It's about You.
Let all the politicians, public and civil servants be the 30% that must buy Nigerian made goods.

You people keep making this call while the ones that are supposed to lead this call are the very ones that negate the call, while you people want the masses to always be at the receiving end.

Why should the governor use state resources for the benefit of a few.

I was really shocked and surprised when the Igbos said the yorubas voted along tribal line in the last election when just 52 percent of them voted for Tinubu while over 90 percent of Igbos voted for Peter obi..
The Yorubas made it tribal in 2023,they started the attacks,it all started after Peter Obi won LAGOS. The Yorubas started the attack by attacking Rhodes vivour calling him chinedu and labelled him as an agent of the Igbo to take over LAGOS. The Yoruba did it,they claimed igbos were calling LAGOS no mans land ,the proof of who and when it was said has not been brought out till today

Places like Ibadan have also witness rising population of migrants for the same reason as of recent though can't be compared to Lagos ...

They say, the people of Nigeria have to endure, there's no money.

we have to pay high prices, cost reflective tariffs, high transport fares, high taxes for everything.

No more cheap things,we are lazy and used to free things.

But the non lazy free things loving political elites have money to purchase 21 brand new vehicles costing over a billion for the LGA chairmen in kogi.

This is what subsidy money removed and given to governors is used for.

No, it is not hypocrisy! Hausa and other tribes living in Lagos and anywhere else don't use to pass their boundaries. They are not arrogant or wish their hosts evils or chests beating everywhere. You will come to yoruba land to hussle, you will achieve your aims and then you begin to hate them and call them different bad and derogatory names. You will say their states are brown roofs despite they are sharing excesses of their money to cater for your states.

Your actions spoke louder than your voices, anywhere you are in the world; don't always cross your host's boundary, never takes their peaceful nature for stupidity. As they respect you, respect them. Don't try to arrogantly prove to them you are wiser and smarter than them, let them find out you are wise and call you when your service is needed.

You don't write like you went to school

Lagos state was never the Capital
You said there is some thing called. core Lagos and you say it means mainstream what is that?

Did the Federal government build Housing estate in Owerri ot Calabar or Enugu

So why is Festac special
So building Festac makes that area capital
Why does estate in Egbeada not make Owerri capital of Nigeria ?

The point
Most developed? according to whom
What is development what does that mean
The biggest estate in Nigeria ,the whole of Nigeria, for many years was Festac town, only eclipse till today by gwarimpa in Abuja, nothing compared to Festac and satellite town in the whole of Nigeria till date, not only that, they were the earliest built massive estates in Nigeria by the FG.

Aside those, the so called capital area of LAGOS remains the most developed area of LAGOS till date, clearly showing the legacy of LAGOS having developed due to the FG and not the Yoruba

Canberra is small

Your claim is fault you are dishonest and unreliable
We cannot take you seriously

The Federal government has Housing estates in Owerri Port Harcourt and all over the country

So what? Does that make Owerri the capital of Nigeria?

You keep bringing up irrelevant stuff showing disorganised and illogical thinking

You say something stopped in 1967. Where is evidence because you wish it is so?

Did anything change because Enugu state was created
Did the whole stage become a bigger Enugu?
I meant big countries by population not geographical size, Canada is a relatively small country population wise,as well as Switzerland, again all populated countries have big capitals ,most of your so called Western region area of today's Lagos were deep forest, it was the FG that opened them up

Western region control stop 1967 and even prior to that Yoruba rule of the Western region was only for a brief period about 1954 to 1967.

LAGOS ,the whole if Lagos was the capital of Nigeria.

Is there a core Anambra or
Core Ebonyi or core Abia

Anyway you are contradicting yourself

The point is that The capital of Nigeria was the Colony of Lagos established in 1914 in 1967
Lagos State was created by adding territory from Western Nigeria
Badagry division
Ikeja Division
Ikorodu Division
Epe Division
I

Lagos state was never capital of Nigeria

Amuwo-odofin was partof Badagry Division and part of the Western Region
It was not part of the capital. It was not part of Lagos Division

You cannot bring Ibo stronghead to come and tell us our history

There is nothing like core because you think there is or should be

Amuwo-odofin was in the old Western Region
All development in amuwo-odofin started from 1967 after Western region, spurred mainly by FG, eg Festac,Festac extension, satellite, navy town etc.

Core means mainstream or most developed parts of LAGOS.

That is from only one angle, looking at another angle( behind) ,it shows that the player put her hand behind her before the ball hit,she was in the process of putting her hand behind her at this angle point which makes it look like her hand was away from her body.when the referee checked from all angles it clearly revealed that the player moved her hand away from the ball before it hit
