Is the standard of livinc comparable to other developed countries? The answer is No. what makes a developed country? Industrialization and that in itself is missing in Nigeria. how can you call a country that cant fix its own economy great? The only time Nigeria had that prospect of being a great nation was in the 70s and early 80s. After that, it has been a downward hill movement ever since then. The only thing we have to our advantage and not using at all is Human Capital. In Africa we have the highest emigration rate and we are not at war. Imagine if we were. So why exactly are we not going to fill up American and British schools with our population. We do not joke with education right from time and even if we dont use it for anything in Life, we always go to school for going sake because we have been brought up as a society to do so.. Nigeria is not the greatest country in the world. either by self-belief or reality. we do not even come close.
