chuna1985:Lol. If SW employment rate is 50% as you allege, then your erosion infested s beast must definitely be worse off coz we are the ones accommodating your economic migrants and destitutes here in our region. God bless Fashola for setting the precedent of deporting your lot from our region. Expect more Biafran deportation from now on. Enough is enough. ![]() |
chuna1985:I agree. A sizable number of igbo slaves in Nigeria are quite content with their current state and condition, while the freedom-fighting lot amongst them keep clamouring for freedom. Needless to say that it is obvious which group you belong to. ![]() |
Chiaka:Just like you, I am ALL for TRUE FEDERALISM. |
oluwalfa:That was a war-time alliance, Awo resigned from the gov't after the war. Zik was President, Ironsi was FIRST Nigerian military HOS, Ekwueme was VP under Shagari and SE also produced Senate President under that Government, and even the Speaker was from the former Eastern Region then. SE were in alliance and in bed with Babangida and Abacha while Yoruba leaders were exiled and getting murdered/butchered (Abiola and co.). Igbos virtually ran GEJ's government and had the real power, so what are you talking about? |
mezzyg:LOL. Another deranged Biafran on the loose. Security? ? ? !!! ![]() |
Chiaka:Miss, I understand what you are trying to say but I disagree with you that Yorubas are "always aiding the North" argument coz not only is it historically inaccurate, it also unfair and false. In fact, it can be argued that Zik (an Igboman) missed out on a GOLDEN opportunity to forge a coalition which could have salvaged the course of the country if only he had agreed to the proposition to forge an alliance with the then Action Group party after the 1959 federal elections (in that election Zik's NCNC had 81 seats, Awo's AG had 74, while Ahmadu Bello's NPC got 134 seats). Awo had subsequently approached Zik for a coalition after the results were announced and if that alliance had materialized, both parties would have formed the government at the center at the time, relegating the North to an opposition party, and the history of Nigeria may likely have turned out differently. But alas, it didn't happened that way coz the NCNC (an Igbo Party) ended up forging an alliance with the Northern NPC which then produced a Tafawa Balewa as Prime Minister and Zik as President, while Awo's AG went into opposition. The rest they say is history. Since then up until the recent APC, the Yorubas have been in opposition (they even opposed OBJ, he wasn't their candidate, remember?). While the igbos have also had their share of power at the centre both before and after the civil war (think Zik, Ironsi, Shagari/Ekwueme and GEJ eras), even more so than the Yorubas. So why the constant scapegoating of Yorubas? ? |
Chiaka:Thanks, that's more like it and I agree with you completely. Unlike some previous player-hating posters. |
oluwalfa:Ok, if Abiola and Gani are rams, what do you now call the mass slaughter of your fellow Biafrans during the civil war? That one pass barbeque and suya, na ogbonge buffet. ![]() |
zendy:Hahahaha! Liberation indeed. Since your capitulation and embarrassing defeat in that war, your people have remained slaves to the Nigerian federation. That's why you all are still crying for freedom. Only slaves ask for freedom. Una be our bbitchees. ![]() |
oluwalfa:And Ojukwu was the first general to ja for his life to Ivory Coast, after overseeing the massacre of his people and witnessing the decimation of his pet-project Biafra. ![]() |
dessybobo:No surprises there. As in, what were they expecting? To reap where they didn't sow? |
The usual suspects from the South East are here as expected. Any and every news on Osun, good or bad, triggers their masturbatory instincts till they climax in their hateful binge. Make Una continue. Osun no care whether Una exist or not. Jobless lot. |

Captainswag225:Colonized is an understatement. Wholesale domination is more like it. Truth is, the Eastern minorities also yearned for their own independent republic even before the igbos started clamouring for Biafra. Ironically, it was an igboman in the person of Ironsi who crushed Isaac Adaka Boro's rebellion after he declared an independent ND republic. ![]() |
Sad. R.I.P to the dead ![]() Gov't should come to their assistance a.s.a.p |
shachris02:You didn't know that before? In fact, if an experienced senator from the SE like Ngige had been returned, the whole NA crises would have been avoided coz he would have naturally clinched SP. But alas, the entire region didn't elect one single APC senator, not even for strategic and special interest consideration, no. |
dustmalik:Well, I think it is ok. Just that it will take forever to arrive at its destination -- 10hr journey fit stretch to 2-days Pesin go need serious amount of patience. |
Egift: You too mushhh. |
shachris02:Nna, you make sense die. And for this your post you deserve 1 crate of Orijin. Maybe some people are expecting him to reward PDP opponents like FFK and Okupe Dem with ministerial positions, just the same way GEJ did ....NOT with the opposition during his tenure. It's a no-brainer really. |

backtosender:You people are known empty vessels and chest beaters with nothing to show for it. What Oyo and Ondo contribute you asked abi? Well, at least those two states are responsible for at least 70% of Cocoa exports alone (minus other Agric products/Cash crops produced and also export by the region like Tobacco, Cashew e.t.c -- and captured by the FG --). $10billion DOLLARS annual exports no be moi-moi o. SW doesn't even get any 13% derivation from those exports like the SS does on Oil o. Now, what does the SE contribute, please? I need data and figures too, not just the usual chest-beating. Thanx in advance. Nigeria exports $10bn raw cocoa annuallyWhen you talk about poverty rates, according to the UN sponsored report (http://www.dataforall.org/dashboard/ophi/index.php/ , http://www.ophi.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/Multidimensional-Poverty-Index-2015-2-March-2015.pdf?0a8fd7&13666f) : REGIONAL AVERAGES 1 = South West - 19.3% Poverty (+ Average) 2 = South South - 25.2% Poverty (+ Average) 3 = South East - 27.36% Poverty (+ Average) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ** National Avg 46.0%% Poverty ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 = North Central - 45.7% Poverty (+Average) 5 = North East - 76.8% Poverty (- Average) 6 = North West- 80.9% Poverty (- Average) That Some Osun Civil servants are being used as political tools of propaganda against the state doesn't translate to the state-wide poverty. Most Osun people are agrarian farmers who can take care of their livelyhood. In a state of at an estimated 5-million only less than 1% are civil servants being affected by the salary palava. Infact, according to the UN report I provided, Osun has less poverty than any SE state. ![]() |
backtosender:You people just like to whine sha. Your bad belle-ism is approaching insane proportions. Obviously the criteria for disbursement and distribution of the state allocations isn't dependent on Oil alone (even if much of it is). Whichever way you choose to look at it, at least the FG government is of the view that Ondo state and Oyo states (let's not even add Lagos) are more deserving of more allocation than any SE state coz they add more value to the overall economy than you all. Considering all the noise you all make about how you're the shyt and what not, one would have thought it would reflect in the revenue sharing report. The more you contribute, the more you receive. Kapish! |
Vicotex2:Your are the one deceiving yourself there. You conveniently left out AKS (the largest oil producing state) and Ondo from your map abi? You think say you smart. Smh. Ondo produces more Oil than all the SE state combined. Na fact of the matter be dat.

Tight contest but Ogun might have nicked it already at the current pace it's going: https://www.nairaland.com/2322312/ogun-state-nigerias-emerging-industrial http://dawncommission.org/news/ogun-attracts-43-manufacturing-firms-in-3-years/ http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/06/why-more-companies-are-moving-to-ogun/ http://thenationonlineng.net/ogun-making-industrial-hub/ http://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2014/08/14/ogun-state-nigerias-new-industrial-hub/ |

PROVACATEUR:Oga slow your roll abeg. Aregbe may be owing now but he's a performer and please don't insult our collective intelligence here by comparing him with Mr. Talkative. Just because you don't know about Aregbe's strides doesn't give you the right to make silly comparisons. As for Ambode he's only been in office for barely 3-months while Fayose has been governor for about a year or more. Since you don't already know, here are a list of just a handfull Aregbe's commissioned projects: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/159612-aregbesola-commissions-21-new-roads-osun.html http://ayodeleadewale.org/ogbeni-rauf-aregbesola-commissions-asiwaju-bola-ahmed-tinubu-legislative-building/ http://www.osundefender.org/?p=149118 - Commissions $50M Ict Factory In Osun http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/aregbesola-commissions-n2-32bn-ayegbaju-market-promises-more-if-re-elected/ http://nigeriapoliticsonline.com/accolades-as-aregbesola-commissions-school-in-ife/ http://theeagleonline.com.ng/aregbesola-commissions-equipments-for-public-hospitals/ |
emmalexabl:It's called impersonation -- an act of pretending to be another person for the purpose of fraud. Same way Biafrans will be quick to call out suspected impostors using an igbo moniker. Na you gangan dey play the Ostrich. |
OP, seriously you need to quit using a Yoruba moniker to perpetrate confusion here. Igbo names still boku brekete for you to pick from. Try Kanu4Life, Enuguchukwu, Biabiafraud, whatever. But not a Yoruba moniker. Thanx. |
