Can the OP ever see any good in Yorubas? Today alone he has opened a number of threads denigrating the Yorubas. Why the obsession, if I may ask? Perhaps OP can achieve and accomplish more in life if he redirects his energy towards more productive pursuits than cyber-trolling and stalking an entire race of people. It would serve you better to spend more time at the jobs section, that way you can increase your chances of landing a real job. ![]() |
I would like to suggest that perhaps the OP and his alter-ego moniker be ignored from hereon since it's evident that they are just trolling. Besides, this topic has been debunked in the recent past. I can't help but wonder why it's only igbos that call other people's lands "no man's". It's like the race is cursed to stir trouble with their hosts wherever they're found. |
BuddahMonk:Guy, one of your most annoying traits is your dishonesty/disingenuous penchant for twisting facts. Nobody has a monopoly of violence. You should learn to have your facts before making stvpid statements that can be easily refuted. Here's an excerpt from Governor Fayose's media aide right after the recent Hausa-Yoruba clash in Ado (emphasis on the bolded): “So when Hausas were attacked in Mile 12, Lagos in 2000, was the then Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the mastermind of the attack? When over 70 Hausas were killed in Oke Ogun area of Oyo State in 2003, was the governor then, late Alhaji Lam Adesina th mastermind the killing?"From the above quote you can see that Yorubas can also get violent in extreme situations when provoked -- 70 hausas were butchered at Oke Ogun during that crisis. Obviously we often times than not choose to exercise restraint and are less barbaric compared to you igbos and hausas when it come to the business of violence, but our aversion for bloodlust is merely a demonstration civility rather than cowardice. Apparently the recent beheadings of your kinsmen by the igala militants were in retaliation for a previous Igbo provocation. Hopefully that incident has taught you loud-mouthed lot that those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. |
BuddahMonk:Very funny. You think you are clever buddahmonk but you really are not. That news report in the link you presented is from about two years ago. I'm talking about the recent tragic incident that took place some weeks back, where some of your fellow unarmed kinsmen were beheaded by militants from kogi. Normally I shouldn't even be discussing such tragedy in this manner under normal circumstances but I simply couldn't resist the temptation to bring it up considering how you (in particular) and some of your kinsmen (in general) are fond of calling others cowards for sometimes exercising restraint in certain situations that could lead to violent escalation. |
NDPVF:How will the names "look Yoruba" to you, when you spend most of your precious time thinking of how to blow up oil pipes and forming militant in the creeks instead of studying basic history. Smh. For your info, Sapara Williams was Yoruba and the first Nigerian to be called to the bar. And if you don't know Ajayi Crowther then you are hopeless. Next time make good use of google before embarrassing yourself. ![]() |
Oh no! Not Fayose again. Only he can make such a foolish move. Aren't there vocational schools he can send them to, to learn these skills professionally, rather than where they will be taught to produce inferior footwears? ? ? |
The bold resistance of Ijebu warriors of the British colonial army, in their determined effort to enter and penetrate Ijebu kingdom in 1892, led to the decimation and excision of the kingdom, after the war, in order to conquer it permanently. Ikorodu town near Lagos, Ejinrin and Epe which were all parts of Ijebu kingdom were added to Lagos colony to constitute Lagos state. |
Hopefully the OP and his fellow alakoris will forever shut their traps now: Battle of Imagbon (Anglo-Ijebu War of 1892) |
BishopMagic:Oh my God ! Now It's official -- you are a confirmed nut-case. ![]() |
BuddahMonk:Mr., please when will Ndigbo respond to the recent humiliation of your fellow kinsmen via beheadings in the hands of the minority igala militants? Considering how quick you all are to label others as cowards, one would have expected the Biafrans to have reacted swiftly and decisively following that humiliating incident. Abi that 'runaway' Ojukwu tendency is at work again or what? ![]() |
BishopMagic:I shake my head in pity for you coz you are hopeless. Since when did Ijebus become Binis? You asked for evidence and proof which I have presented (and which you can independently verify), yet you refuse to accept basic facts starring you in the face. That right there shows that you are mentally challenged and sick. I obviously can't help you coz your sickness requires professional attention. ![]() |
Impressive! Yorubas are reputed GREAT and peaceful neighbors wherever they are found in the world. They have since assimilated seamlessly into Ghanaian society while retaining their cultural and ethnic identity without causing or rousing any problems in that country. |

Boss13:Lol. Don't worry, they will get over it sooner than you think. I remember feeling the same way when installing my 3m fibre dish, but funny enough they didn't complain coz it didn't disturb them in anyway -- some even asked if they can "tap" it . Abeg remember to flash us some pix of the stations you are enjoying. All the best. |
chukwudi44:Lie of the century. Saraki will lose whatever semblance of credibility or goodwill he has left (especially in the the eyes of his APC supporters) if he is seen to be trying to frustrate or derail PMB's admin. Abi you no read how some of his supporters recently swore allegiance to Buhari recently? Such miscalculation may spell his doom so his supporters like yourself had better not encourage such blackmail tactics on his part. |
Well, in my opinion he's a joker coz PMB (God spare his life) will first complete 8 fruitful years to sanitize this country. |
Talibanis:Nice. Just checked on flysat and confirmed that, thanks. |
@Talibanis: Sounds interesting. But how many english-speaking channels on sky Italia? |
The authorities need to embark on desperate drug-trafficking and awareness campaign in the entire region before the situation gets out of hand coz I still understand marijuana/weed consumption but heroine and cocaine? ? A lot of people may soon start becoming serious addicts. |
Rose2014:Well, but don't forget that Nnamdi Kanu did say himself that ...GEJ is an igboman. Are you saying he was merely kidding around? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbNCBllNiWM |
madridguy:This is not about One Nigeria, it is about fairness. The Niger-Deltans fought for their 13% derivation. Why can't the south west also get special derivation for its contribution to the federal coffers? This is about fairness. |
Dollyak:Nothing could be farther from the truth. I think Tinubu, Ambode and the Lag legislators (ibfact the entite SW lawmakers sef) need to take this up with the FG. Na serious case of highway robbery. The state gets PEANUTS in return relative to the contribution it makes. It's not fair one bit. |
Na real wah o. Wetin make pesin come believe ![]() |
chuna1985:Anywhere but the S beast is fine by me. Thenx. |
oluwalfa:I want Igbos to have Biafra, since that is what the VAST majority of you all seem to want. For real. If it'll reduce the chest-thumping and noise, hell yeah I want it. The only grouse I have is with Kanu's abuse and threats on Yorubas. Remove that and I'm pro-Biafra. Happy now? ![]() |
chuna1985:LMAO. For your mind! We all know where most of your people live in Lagos (the ghetto areas of Ajegunle, Oshodi, Mushin, Olodi Apapa, Festac and environs). In short they can't even afford the high-brow areas of Magodo, Ikoyi, Lekki/Ajah, Ikeja GRA, Ilupeju, e.t.c., which are the exclusive preserve of Yorubas. Your businesses pass trading, spare-parts selling, pirated cds, gala and stuff? The real businesses and sectors that count are controlled by Yorubas, a la Service industries, Real Estate, Banking, Telecoms, Insurance, Education, Health, Manufacturing, Construction, e.t.c. Guy, put down your weed please. Lagos is no Anambra where all you do there is trade. |
chuna1985:Guy, stop trying to shift goal-post. The real issue is, what are your leaders doing about stopping the influx of your unemployed and destitutes to the SW by the truckloads? |
mezzyg:Like I adviced Tayo, you are deranged and living in your own fantasyland. Even the way you write exposes your mental imbalance. My origin and history are not in doubt. It is you Biafrans who are still suffering from psychological hangover over your defeat in the last war, since then you've been looking for anything that would boost your collective self-esteems and egos, and make you feel like 'somebody' so you cookup all kinds of bizarre theories and foolishness. You can continue if it makes you feel good about yourselves, it doesn't affect my life in anyway. We are international players (our men and women are the only Pulitzer and Nobel prize winners in Africa, current president of Benin Republic is a yorubaman), while you all are local champions ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoruba_people vs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igbo_people ). All those people you list up there cannot hold a candle to Yorubas in terms of achievements and added value (One Mike Adenuga owner of Glo who has created tens of thousands of jobs, is worth more than all those people you listed up there). I repeat that you are delusional. |
tayooluwole:Tayo, why are you indulging that fool? ? Anyone that can honest spew the sort of rubbish about Igbos being "jews" has to be deranged. Quit entertaining his foolishness. Please, the guy is sick in the head. |
