Dollyak:
Firstly, open-mindedness is a virtue. In that vein, I am not sure how my comment showed a conflict of interest or bias. Projecting much?

I am aware of the context behind this thread and this doesn't justify the never ending comments being churned out of this thread. It has now gone beyond reinforcement of superiority into a self-serving nonsense. Anyways, the first 100 pages had already dealt the 'much necessary blow' to dispel any myth (from a perspective of Yoruba) projected in the other thread.

In the midst of challenges currently being faced by the great Yoruba nation, the energy and the number of comments shows a wrong priority IMO. There are simply more pressing issues that warrant the energies I am currently seeing on this thread. Each to their own I guess.

Smh, another example is this thread. https://www.nairaland.com/3941777/ibadan-pictures-development-fastest-growing/32#59950230
The "I am Yoruba, by the way" crew who offers nothing significant for Yoruba interest, growth and discussion on this forum.

They only crawl out of their holes when passionate Yorubas make an effort to paint Yorubas in a good light.

You won't find them on anti-Yoruba threads fighting for Yoruba image. No, not at all.

They claim to know what's going on outside of this forum and that there are bigger issues, but me thinks they're just the Yoruba coons, niggers and house nigger or whatever they call themselves.

This thing was also on the Ibadan thread crying about the pictures, but did she contribute anything of substance, no.

Bad Belle

Iwo road, iyana church, olomi gate are the few places I can remember out of places ajimobi fixed ( widening / clearing the road

When he was doing it, you fools claimed you won't eat road, you don't want road , when he started repairing / demolishing old schools to make way for new ones you claimed you loved the previous structures, you claimed he's destroying your lively hood especially when roads were being widened

Same story happened for aregbe in Osun they came they screamed, they lied, they protested, still it was for the betterment of the state , people like you who can't think like an educated graduate should be banned from social media
Don't mind these foolish Nigerians. Same thing happened in Lagos when they pull down old structures to make way for development.

Government is in continuum. The next government should try and surpass him
Ajimobi did well compared to Tokyo-eleweomo era of akala and ladoja.

During ajimobi administration:
-Ibadan stopped to be the dirtiest city in the world
-Ibadan ranked as one of the 5 cities to watch in africa in 2015
-Oyo become fourth largest recipient of FDI

I agree woth you that he can do more.he tried for Ibadan city.I hope he will pay attention to lautech and salary payment too.
True.

Both indigenous and foreign industries are sprinting up in Ibadan like crayyyy

Ajimobi needs to do more for Oyo state!

The state is not tapping into its close proximity with Lagos unlike Ogun state that is presently exploring the potentials in full capacity.

Even Ogun state is not trying enough. It should be yielding IGR close to Lagos.

Oyo state needs to wake up and stop scamming us with AgricOyo initiative cuz since April of last year, we haven't heard much about it embarassed embarassed

Lol talking about our polithiefians, they are so daft and crude in their developmental approach, If i'm not mistaken the only tin they fix now are just critical infrastructure which are even of mediocrity. Come to think of how SW would be like without investors, partaining to the museum only investor can revive it especially our indigeneous investor fond of investing heavily of oil well, blok, and firm which are always under threat by the ND. They really don't have to underestimate the return in such invests specially when it is classic. cuz those person dont give a bleep when it comes to torrism. Meanwhile other countries make a greater percentage of their revenue from it.
