Lana1: This match will make it a whole calendar year since Lingard last scored or assisted a league goal.
But watch him get a bumper contract in May Naah! He is most likely on his last United contract. He is 27 years old and he has 3+1 years left on his current deal. |

You seem to be more knowledgeable about these young prospects Ethan Laird has got some stuffs to rectify with his defending. Laird is so good that Williams was pushed to LB. |

Shaw is in serious trouble! By next season Williams would most likely be the starting left back if he can withstand the physicality of playing every week. |

Leyqute: Raumdeuter doesn’t know anything. He keeps ranting that Ferguson broke transfer records but he can’t prove nada.
When Blackburn bought the league with expensive signings he was blind. And who made sure Blackburn’s money is irrelevant? Fergie.
Who knocked Liverpool off their perch? Who stopped them from winning the league even when they had a firing striker in Torres with Benitez in charge? Fergie.
If Fergie had emmoney to be breaking transfer records every season he wouldn’t have recalled Scholes from retirement. And he would’ve bought a very capable midfielder before leaving Man Utd.
But one bald Ajirebi from Okitipupa will be doing okoto meow yarns on NL.
Negodu! lol! Fergie broke a couple of records with Andy Cole (1995, 7M), Veron (2001, 28M) and Ferdinand (2002, 29M). |

Fkhalifa: No top coach is interested in Arsenal's job, to take this team to top, half of this team should be cleared, and bring in quality players..
The coach will demand a player or kind of player, but will the people at the top respond well? Yes they will respond with litchtener,Luiz and Sokratis..Swap deals of deadwoods, young prospects and 1 big ( pepe like )signing.
Do you see Allegri,Simeone surviving this kind of environment? How many players were signed at Leicester for Bredan Rodgers to turn things around? You guys signed highly talented Tierney and Pepe with some tinkering I believe Arteta can achieve some marked improvements. |

Fkhalifa: It's the reason why no top manager is willing to take the Job. Arsenal will not like you demand Zaha, partey and Maguire, its against their philosophy. This is very wrong! Most coaches in Spain, Germany and Italy are head coaches. Zidane is a head coach, same for Mou at Spurs and Valverde at Barcelona. The era of managers demanding for players is far gone. They usually discuss with the head of recruitment/director of football positions they will like to improve and together they determine traits they should be looking at. In some cases the director of football can target specific players but he has to discuss it with the board and manager. |

iamoyindamola: Quick question guys: since wengay left, our managers were referred to as 'head coach'. Does that mean they only coach and doesn't have a say in transfer market? I just remembered Emery said he wanted zaha instead of Pepe. Why refer to them as head coach when other EPL clubs uses the tag 'manager' Head coach implies that the person that occupies the position focuses more on preparing the team during training, tactics and lead the team during games. He has little input in the day to day running of the footballing side of the club, this includes transfer, style of play/systems etc. The aforementioned duties are handled by a director of football/sporting director and other similarly named roles. |
