LMDyaya: Kuddos to vichai's son.... Leicester are just greater under him. Blessed Acquiring Perez and Tielemans for around 80M pounds was excellent business. Also Harvey Barnes and Soyuncu both on loan at various points of last season have both been spectacular. This Leicester side shows that a manager can make material improvement in performance and result. |

Please no vex o, I come in peace this season.
Much Regards Mr. bikeman the keyword is 'at the beginning of the season' plus they have been rotating their squad. 8 of the guys that started today's game didn't play their last Europa cup qualification game. Finally I called the analogy daft and not you. Warm regards |

GloryIsaac: The guy should have let Rashford take it... All these stat padding attempt is annoying.... One doesn't need to score 20 goals before his impact is felt.
James need to up his game too, but he's new to the EPL so no need saying much.
Like play like play, Luke Shaw has turned to the weakest link in our defence. From the first pass of the game, it was very clear that Shaw's flank was the target... that's why that muscle builder fronting as footballer was brought in. You are correct but the goal came from two poor decisions by Maguire. First the rash tackle the resulted in the free kick and the poor clearance that resulted in the corner kick. Also, our players were asleep as Jota ran towards Moutinho for the short corner kick. Of all the players to be left free, they left the best shooter from outside the box in the entire league. Series of poor decisions. |

BikeMan: Wolves still remains a bogey team for United. Wolves have played more games than United since the season started but they're still too strong for United. In the end the only two teams in England are still Liverpool and City That was a very daft analogy! playing more games at the beginning of the season means they will be fitter and sharper. You didn't disappoint though as a bikeman. United was just super unlucky.... We conceded from a 5 mins period of extremely poor judgement from McTominay, Shaw and Maguire. Why the hell was Pogba and Rashford discussing about who should take the penalty? Is there no designated penalty taker? 2 points lost! Useless Wolves spent half the match sitting back! |

JSnw: I'm afraid this could be a long night. Our midfield is lean, 2 vs 5 able bodies. Lingard is short one as usual...hoping we pull this through You nor know ball when a team is playing 3-5-2 when the opponent has the ball, they usually push the fullbacks up the field and drop one of the midfielder towards the centre backs to make it look more like a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. This enables them stretch the opponent while also creating a 3 v 2 situation against the two CFs of the opponent. |

odizeey: people are buying youngsters for the future, we are replacing a young guy with a 'used pad' that appears to be still useful.
I just wish I had the power to remove all the seats in the stadium a day to all our matches, so those dunce called fans can stop attending games. Ole is planning to play 4-2-3-1 next season. Rashford is the no 1 striker based on what we saw towards the end of last season. Martial and Sanchez can do a job as CF and both of them will most likely battle for the LW position. Remember that we have a promising and talented FW in Greenwood. Therefore an extremely fit, old but different FW like Mandzukic who is different from what we have is an excellent addition. Our other transfers this seasons have been 21 years AWB, 21 years old Daniel James and Slabhead who is 26. My only problem is the lack of quality in the midfield. I hope McTominay can continue his impressive display in the upcoming season. |

BlueAngel444: read it as many times as u do ur textbooks for the exams u still get a D in, maybe it will finally make enough sense for u. Lmao! Chief you made a very poor statement and concerning exams you don't want to go there...lol Let us analyse your statement the amount a player is bought for doesn't translate to the players value, or value to his team self. na situations they cause am.The amount a player is bought for is the sales price for the selling club and it equals to associated cost plus customer (buying club) perceived value. In this scenario, associated costs may include training/development related costs, the player's initial cost of acquisition, etc. the customer perceived value here relates to the value that the buying club sees in the acquisiton of the player. It could be possible improvement of their team, ability to sell merchandise, etc. You could say the amount a player is bought might not translate to the quality of the player even though in most cases the statement is incorrect. Value and quality are not always the same. |

Leyqute: It seems peeps here have no idea of the current situation United are in. Look around guys, the Fergie era is gone. The last time we challenged for the title was 2012- 7 years ago when we won it. Since then, we've finished top 4 just twice out of 6 times- 7th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 2nd, 6th (we finished below 2nd just once in 9 seasons before then).
Still think we're invincible? I bet not. The brand is still huge but the on-field success is nowhere near what it used to be. Since 2012 we haven't mount a single title challenge. Our average points tally during this period is 60 sth, that won't even get you int the top 4 these days, not to talk about winning the title, the last 2 of which were won with at least 95 points.
Now, given the condition and current state of the club, this is no time to be getting rid of quality players for emotional reasons. How hard will it be for City or Liverpool to get back on top if they lose a player like Pogba? Not that hard. If Pogba were in those clubs dem no born am well to dey utter those rubbish yarns. He'd be sold cos they can easily replace him.
Same can't be said about United. We have a leaky defense, an old man as the CDM of an unbalanced midfield as well as misfiring strikers. Pogba, for all his tardiness and issues, is the only qualify player we've got in that moribund midfield. I know he's an asshole and can't be arsed sometimes and when he uttered those words, I felt like selling him to Juve myself. But this is not the right time to be losing players like him.
There's a reason the club don't want to sell him. Once we get in new players and they start gelling well, then we will get rid of him, esp if he keeps uttering rubbish.
No one is saying Pogba is irreplaceable, it's just not wise to let the asshol3 go at this moment. the only reason Pogba is seen as indispensable at the moment is because of his superstar status and fandom in relation to the commercial side. Pogba is an enigma that needs to be carried by a specific type of midfield/team. He is not an attacking maestro and he is not a defending kingpin. |

BlueAngel444: Kepa we bought 80m 6months before then was worth 18m-20m.
If Courtios or Pulisic had extra years in their contract, Courtios would have gone for 60m to 70m, Pulisic will reach 100m self.. what about Hazard that 150m would have been 200m or more.

Lana1: Ndidi should be cheaper than Rabiot. As for Grealish, i never too watch the guy Leicester are usually troublesome when it comes to player negotiations. They have enough cash and do not need to sell. They will quote 50M+ for Ndidi. Rabiot will cost around 200K per week with around 10M sign on fee (He ran down his contract, so no transfer fee). That is a bargain! |

larride: Trust me, when it comes to transfer or anything football related, most people on here are more knowledgeable than ED. The man is clueless. Lmao! What do you know about football transfer? Ed Woodward is an ex-investment banker that have done loads of M&A deals. He is not a novice when it comes to closing deals. It is not his fault that the recruitment side of United have been shiit or for example are you blaming Woodward for signing players that Mou wanted (Fred and Sanchez)? It is the job of the scouting team and the manager to review targets... Woodward only has to lead the team that work on them deals. Hopefully Woodward will not be the scapegoat when we get a DoF.
