A jealous wife has been jailed for stabbing her husband seven times in rage after he boasted about cheating on her.



Deborah Rose age 47, attacked her husband by John throwing a vase, jug of milk and vacuum cleaner at him before grabbing the kitchen knife.

The lady who is said to be a mother of three had been jailed for six years over the assault that unfolded at the couple’s home in Deal, Kent, in February this year.

Canterbury Crown Court heard the married couple had romped before Mr Rose admitted to seeing another woman – with his furious wife shouting “I’m gonna kill you” and stabbing him seven times in the back, leg and arm.

Mr Rose staggered out of the flat into a nearby pub where staff called for an ambulance, before he was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He suffered a collapsed lung and a stab wound to his liver, but managed to survive the attack. Judge James O’Mahony last week jailed Rose after she admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He said: “He thought he was going to die. You didn’t call an ambulance.

“The incident lasted just over an hour.

“Such was the force with which you stabbed him that when the knife came into contact with bone, it smashed the bone as well.”

It was also added that Rose cut up her husband’s clothes in the fit of fury. Rose was arrested after her husband was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment.

A woman who was dieing of a terminal disease had to arrange her wedding in haste. Nina Marino, 19, was hooked up to a ventilator and other machines when she and Joey Williams, 21, tied the knot on the intensive care unit.


The young couple had hoped to marry in a church, but they were forced to bring the ceremony forward after a doctor told them, Mariino would likely not make it through the night.

Just a few hours later, Nina wore her wedding dress and a headband of flowers as she said “I do” and fulfilled one of her dying wishes. She held a bouquet in her hands and was kissed on the cheek by Joey, who was wearing a tuxedo, in a ceremony that was quickly thrown together by family. A guitarist was invited to play songs for her, her room was decorated with photos of the couple.


Nina made it through the night and held on for three more days before losing her battle with cancer. They tied the knot in front of about 30 relatives, friends and hospital workers in Nina’s room on the intensive care unit.

A Nigerian lady identified as Salawu Ajokeade on Facebook has taken to the social media platform to reveal how she had party for free.

It was revealed online when a man identified as King Phad Opeyemi via a Facebook group post, asked ladies if they could allow their boyfriends have a party with their best friend for #500k (five hundred thousand Naira).

The New York Times reports that former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush have been asked to give eulogies at Senator John McCain’s funeral, but President Donald Trump has been banned from attending the ceremony.



John McCain, who died on Saturday at the age of 81, will lie in state in the Capital Rotunda in Washington, D.C., and receive a full dress funeral service at the Washington National Cathedral.



His death on Saturday triggered a flood of tributes and even from U.S. President Donald Trump that he greatly opposed. Former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter, have also paid tributes in memory of the senator.



Trump, in a tweet said: “My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!”



The late Arizona Republican, had organised his funeral, and close associates had told the White House in May that he did not want Trump to be invited.
