If you are tired of the Job why not desert silently and live a quite life. What Nigerians don't know is that no matter how bad u try to paint the military, people will still apply in their thousands so why waste ur time.

Wetin Army go use this guy eye see eeehn, even Sahara reporters go pity am.
And those talking about human right, stop deceiving yourself the military have their own way of dealing with issues within themselves.

Why is that Our border communities do not receive much attacks from Insurgents like Nigeria.

Are the Insurgents more concerned about conquering Nigeria or there is something our francophone counterparts ain't telling us, abi if they try hitting our neighbors they (Insurgents) might be inflicted with much more casualties?

Okay I have visited Gamboru and I see the closeness with Fotokol. Fotokol will be sleeping more peacefully than Nigerians at Gamboru sad

In Rann there is a community I think called Bosso or Boddo not up to 10km from Rann. This communities enjoy their sleep while Rann is attacked Monthly.

Should I speak about Cameroon Amchide and Nigeria Banki? huh

Lemme don't go into Pulka or Gwoza axis self

Please over to you guys wink
This guy @Defensenews Nigeria once posted something like that on twitter, but some people attacked him claiming that we can't blameour neighbours for our woes.

There are lot of conspiracies as far as insurgency and banditry in Nigeria is concerned. May God help us and keep our troops safe.

I want to ask a critical question no body as asked, why did BHT attack during the day? Usually they attack at night and would have had better chances in they came around 6pm.

1 ) could it be a new and inexperienced leader, that believes too put in brute force and not really on brain power? Willing to sacrifice even the live of his men, and civilians?

2)is there certain intelligence bht have that pushed them to attack at that time, like maybe they know they wont be able to hold the base for long, so they decided to start the attack early, knowing it would be a long drawn battle, and if they had success , loot the base under the cover of night and disappear.

3) just plain incompetence by the bht top echelon or under estimation of Nigeria troops to stay and fight, like the Niger usually do.
Well who cares undecided , their loss is our win and the most important thing is that our troops gave them a bloody nose.

BOKO HARAM AND ISWAP ELEMENTS COMPREHENSIVELY DECIMATED BY TROOPS OF OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE IN YET ANOTHER FAILED ATTEMPT TO OVERRUN MONGUNO IN NORTHERN BORNO

In their avowed resolve to protect the lives and property of our citizens in Northern Borno, the troops of Sector 3 Operation LAFIYA DOLE thwarted the heinous attempt by Boko Haram and ISWAP criminal elements to overrun the peaceful town of Mongonu to unleash mayhem on the law-abiding citizens of the community. The encounter which took place yesterday, 13 June 2020 ended with the gallant troops dealing a devastating blow on the insurgents and capturing or destroying most of their equipment. The criminal insurgents attempted to lay siege on the community as well as the troops’ location with a number of gun trucks and foot soldiers but in a swift reaction, the gallant troops mobilized, enveloped and choked the criminals with superior fire power, forcing them to withdraw in dissaray amidst heavy casualty on both their men and equipment. The unrelenting troops immediately pursued the criminals along their withdrawal route in order to further exploit the huge initial success recorded. During the exploitation exercise, the troops recovered 41 bodies of the insurgents while many more are believed to have escaped with serious injuries. Additionally, the gallant troops captured 10 AK 47 Rifles, 2 Rocket Propelled Gun 7 tubes, 8 Rocket propelled Gun 7 bombs, one General Purpose Machine Gun, 2 PKT Machine Guns, one Dane gun, one SPG 9 Gun and one Dushka Machine Gun. Others items captured from the criminal insurgents include 2 Anti- Aircraft Guns, one Anti-Aircraft Gun barrel, 4 SPG 9 bombs, one Hand Grenade, one Tool Box, 2 transistor radios, 49 rounds of Anti-Aircraft Gun ammuntion, 386 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition and 7 Gun Trucks from the defeated Boko Haram criminals. Regrettably, 2 gallant soldiers paid the supreme prize while 3 others were wounded in action. The Wounded In Action soldiers have been evacuated to a military medical facility and are positively responding to treatment.

The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai commends the troops for their resilience and patriotism in crushing the remnants of Boko Haram/Islamic State's West Africa Province criminals and urges them to maintain the tempo against the criminals as we approach the end of insurgency in our country.
