Currently Rumour has it that ISWAP held a high profile meeting in Gudzamala promising to attack Monguno probably very soon due to the casualties they experienced in the last attack. This has made most peeps to abandon Monguno and most NGOs to stop implementing activities.
The first probe was to test the strength and viability of troops, their Response Time, Response Approach/Deployment Pattern and Rate (RADPAR), response firepower and avail themselves of strategies to implement in subsequent waves of probes/assails that's forthcoming.

Next ISWAP/JAS probe on the Monguno base would be multi-pronged than last time and since they've started with SVBIED (which unfortunately for them wasn't detonated), there won't be less than three [3] SVBIEDs in their trail this time. Probable reasons:
i. To avert last time scenario of failed detonation.
ii. For optimised suppression of fatal/hardened counter attacks.
iii. For psychological deterrence. Etc

It's no rocket science. They're aware there's enough weaponry in that location's arsenal and they won't mind getting them by all means possible even with thousands of troops harbouring there.

It would be the bloodiest for them or for the military if the Nation's army won't stop being Unassertive and Defensive.
The only way to maintain defense is to be on relentless offense.
That way, you choke them of time to plan/strategize, suppress their number of usable weapons/technicals, strangulate the number of their fighters and their will to fight, thereby eliminating their lethality and propaganda.

Own troops, you know what to do.

If they want war, let's give them one.
One they won't forget in a hurry.

This man gets it.

Despite the reality that it was a probing attack, they would have done greater damage if they weren't stopped by the fighter jets that came several hours late.

Both NA and NAF need to do a lot more.

That Jet was the Major Impact. No member ISWAP died from a military bullet. The guys were marching close to the barracks before the jet showed up. I even heard their gun trucks we're shooting at the Jets.

I JUST HOPE THEY BRING BETTER PEOPLE
BUT DON'T CHANGE THE CAS
the air force chief is really doing well, especially in keeping the aircraft serviceability rate higher than many other countries. The CNS is trying to up his game. As for the army chief, I don't know what to say.

In news that would gladden the hearts of many Nigerians but will be distressing to "the miserable one" tongue
it is being reported that the NA killed the most wanted ISWAP commander Amir Imar on Sunday June 14th
in Marte LGA of Borno State he was the butcher of Gubio last week .
This week he is fertilizer material.

Meanwhile, ISWAP released photos showing the execution of an alleged CJTF commander near Gubio.

As usual, I decided not to show the face of the victim, I advise you to do the same. I'll say it straight - You wouldn't like to see the death of your family member on the Internet.

The Jets were on time
The problem based on credible sources was the initial response by the NA
THE BH insurgents suffered causalities both from the NAF ( On Saturday) in Monguno and on Sunday in a ferocious firefight with the NA in and around villages close to MARTE .
BH will no doubt attack Monguno again pretty soon the question is how much casualties are they willing to suffer.
BH were escorted back to their hideouts by the NA andthe NAFand there were no resettlement packages aoffered to them.
this last outing despite trying to twist the narrative showed them not justfleeing but abadoning precious equipment.
intial response of the NA was less than ideal
follow up response was much more robust.

No one listens to you
We write based on facts
you predictably kept quiet as the news rolled in that bh suffered horrendous losses
we waited for your response with bated breath even bh has yet to implicitly deny that they lost their top commander
you actually should go and join them in the Tumbum islands they would welcome you .

Bht/ISWAP next attack will be probably based under the cover of darkness.
NAF need to ensure persistent ISR presence during the night and armed reconnaissance all over the outskirts of the town.
NA offensives operations need to be carefully planned with NAF around monguno axis

How did bht, get so deep into a super camp? That they got into where amoured fighting vehicles are parked, it doesn't matter if serviceable or not, it was inside N.A location, I'm beginning to think, if not for that jet, the base was already retreating, without putting up much of a fight. Unless they were drawing them into a kill zone.

The hardwares were stationed at Charlie One (The entrance to Monguno through Maiduguri) and Charlie Six (Entrance to Monguno through Marte).

After the last attack in January this year the Military increased more hardwares at these entrances. The first laxity of the Military was their inability to detect the intruding BH guys. The Military guarding the entrances were taken by surprise. The Soldiers at the entrance abandoned their position after BH started shooting sporadically at the entrance.
Some Soldiers were killed at both entrance, even some soldiers trying to run back to the barracks mistakenly ran into the BH guys.

The barracks is more than a Kilometer away from that entrance. The 1:00 minute section of that video was 500meters to the barracks.

The Army needs to start hunting these guys
Around lake the neighbouring LGAs surrounding Monguno town. If these guys can pull such a stunt for 2hours during the day I don't know what will happen if this attack was during their 5:30 pm attack time.

The Army needs to start a massive operation and take the war to them. I am basically tired how we always sit duck and await their attacks. Even Repelling such attacks now has become a great positive news for the Red necks/Federal without any one of them thinking why don't we take the attacks to them. If not for that Video the Military never disclosed we lost such hardwares.

We should take this war to their doorsteps!!!!!!!

its only a coffin that can be sold successfully with cheap lies.

He just lied to you that French convoy has never been hit but It was in the news 7 months ago, France lost a soldier in the hit, that's in Mali, perhaps by the time we research other French engagements, then you rather bury his coffin of lies.

I am sure you know the relationship of Ethiopia and the Jewish nation from inception.

We could go into further with the intermarriage with Egyptian at that time too.

But for now l will stick with the Falash Mura Jews from Ethiopia. Who are still in Ethiopia today.

In the 70/80 's Isreal was smuggling Jews from Ethiopia through Sudan to Isreal.

You approach is very superficial and has no depth.

But that's a deviation from our main subject.

Komekn, I know better not to engage you, apart from the fact you are addicted to cheap lies, You need to live in Israel for 5yrs or more to understand what I wrote there.
I'm sure you don't know that the original location for the state of Israel during Balfour negotiations was Tanganyika present day Tanzania, perhaps if Netanyahu and his country men ended up there, you won't be this confused.

Ethiopian Jews issue was a misapplication of the law of return if you have heard of it, it has nothing to do with what I said.

In continuation of air interdiction missions being conducted under the subsidiary Operation LONG REACH to unhinge the leadership of the Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in the North East, the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed a BHTs’ Tactical Command Centre and neutralized some of their fighters at Yuwe in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State.
The operation was executed on 17 June 2020 after series of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions observed significant presence of BHTs in the settlement and also established that a prominent compound with solar panel-mounted rooftop and a large tree in the middle with a nearby flag-mounted sentry post was being used by the BHTs to coordinate their operations in the area.
Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets dispatched by the ATF to take out the Command Centre took turns in attacking the location scoring accurate hits, leading to the destruction of the Centre and surrounding structures as well as the neutralization of several fighters.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, commends the ATF for their dedication and professionalism. The Defence Headquarters equally urge them to intensify the air offensive against the terrorists and all other criminal elements in the country
