All construction contracts e.g roads,bridges,dams etc are awarded to Chinese companies because they connive with the politicians to pad the cost of the projects in favor of the politicians also this gives them the opportunity to carry out illegal mining in the community or region. For instance, if the cost of building a 1 kilometer road is #100M, tax-payers end up paying about #1B to build that 1 kilometer road.

I have read your write up and in my humble opinion I advice you to stay back in 9ja if you actually earn $3000/month as you clearly stated. If you choose to relocate “japa” and like you said you are in the IT path it will take you some time to get job in that field at your arrival except if you have fantastic IT projects to your CV to show your potential employers. So if you are unable to secure a job in your field then you will have to switch to any other field and by that you may not have fulfillment and of course the bills will never stop coming. If you are lucky to get a job when you arrive your pay maybe get about 25% increase against what you earn now in 9ja. If your monthly expenses in 9ja is $1000 then you have a savings of $2000 monthly which may hardly be achieved when you japa. Another thing to consider is the fear of government policies that may not be favorable to you in the country you find yourself because you are considered a visitor at all time until you are able to secure citizenship documents. Then some measure of racist experience in you place of work is also inevitable and you will be taxed accordingly.
So with this points, you can do a good analysis before you make a decision
