I also received the mail from first bank but i am having problem acknowledging receipt of the mail as we are instructed to do..I try to reply the mail but it keeps bouncing back after mail was said to he successfully delivered

Have anybody done theirs so you can help me with guideline on how you do yours please??,This is the exact message received...

The earlier you take ur mind off some of this organization dat use months to years to do mere recruitment the better for you. one thing is sure before I receive their message, I would have gotten a good job somewhere. mtcheewww!! let them go and learn better system from Access bank.

after 2 years in gtb recruitment process..they might not still take you after even passing medicals

Hmmm...AGM means Annual General Meeting... please be guided. Who attends this? Board of directors of the bank.

AGM is a forum where shareholders and board of directors meet.. they present the last year financials and the future plans..so recruitment has nothing to do with AGM and shareholders...it's an internal thing...expect interview invites soon

Until they approve the budget for assessment center and training school no show for us

The process should end may, June , July depending on how many batches they want to take ...just pray they take large numbers at once

a batch went to Training school in 2014 another batch in 2015

Last recruitment was 2013 but success mail started bouncing in 2015 due to technical issues. But 2016 recruitment will surely be error free as dragnet is incharge of the recruitment process. Unlike last recruitment that the recruitment process was entirely done by first bank HR.

and there's nothing like delay in technical issues ...it is when the management approves they call..they have timeline for recruitment processes

nops last recruitment was done by workforce and workforce also handled the assessment center too

Get a job and if you get first bank fine if not you have something to hold on to

the last recruitment took up to 4 to 5months after the test...they wrote the test June but the assessment Centre came like Oct/Nov thereabout tho....I don't know their timeline for this recruitment...after assessment Centre it won't take up to 2months before TS invitation

The next mail you are getting from first bank is assessment center (another small test, preparing PowerPoint, Presenting the powerpoint you prepared, an interview,Group discussion). After the AC, the next mail is documentation and medicals, the next mail is training school..so if you don't get any of these mails that means you failed..no rejection mails

Sometimes I get so pissed at this country of ours, in foreign countries the exact pay for a job is placed along side the advert, but over here recruiters have a filled day and just see how people were arguing up and down in the previous page of this thread in regards the range of salary for this First bank GT job.

Another ignorant person who start rebuking another candidate who asked to know if anyone knows what's the pay like, you'd hear things like "Nigerians are so greedy, get the job first", or "Are you looking for only how to gain from the company instead of what you would add to the company", that's how graduates in Nigeria have been reduced too, how pitiful! Go to foreign job websites and see the difference. May God help our youths to know their worth and stop acting like douch bags who don't have value for themselves. Like seriously some job seekers have a lot of options and wish to know the pay so they know if they are to follow through with it(expenses like travelling, interviews, etc) or focus on some other jobs.

I remember on Stanbic bank recruitment thread, I almost cried at the pathetic low level Nigerians have become. Stanbic recruitment is in phases and not regular across all border so some people got offer letters in some locations when others in other locations were just within their 1st stage of interviews. And when those waiting for interviews would ask those who have got offer letters about the pay, you'd see people exhibiting some primitive attitude and refuse to give details, like seriously this is a faceless forum, would telling a hopeful like you the pay range make Stanbic bank sack you? Or would we know you are Mr A or B who is receiving this amount of money as salary? This is a faceless forum and yet people display their local and primitive attitude and that's why most foreigners take advantage of Nigerians and trample on such. One funny comment I saw was when one guy who got an offer letter gave salary range details after been begged and begged by others, he said its within the range of 100k - 250K. Like seriously? Nigerians I hail o!

Pardon my lengthy post, this just had to be said. Before I go, does anyone have an idea where First Bank training school would take place? Would everyone converge at Lagos for the 3 months period or it can be done in regional areas around the country? (I hope this question is simple enough, I didn't ask about how much the salary would be o )

the training school would be in iganmu lagos...first bank would provide food and accommodation to people outside lagos or very far like ikorodu, iyana ipaja and so on (but you have to submit a letter and pray they see enough reasons to give you accommodation)

stop spreading false news..first bank pays more ke please....you will get to the third level or fourth level in first bank to earn what a Graduate trainee in access bank or gtb earns...wigwe increased access bank's pay I think a Graduate trainee earns around 270k

and there's what they call pfp..it's performance related paid at the end of the year..it's differs because it is calculated based on individual,team and branch performance...13th month pay (not up to 100k sha)

if you want to prepare fine prepare..it doesn't make sense to start spreading information like you are part of the recruitment team..are you saying AM and Officer 1 (level 9) would write test? I really don't get

madam i know what CBT is and I know various companies that perform various test on behalf of companies but the guy doesn't know it takes millions of naira to perform test on behalf of companies so why is he assuming on behalf of FIRS like he is part of the HR department....they said interview....just wait for the next step and stop spreading false information
