Chasing Dreams

Too many words might make this message loose it's potency, so here you'll have it short and simple.

Life is said to be deep that no man has and will never see it's ends, also wide, as the oceans, so much no one nor the best swimmers has and will ever swim it ends.

So armed with that knowledge, one come of realization that he owes a debt of *'doing his/her part out of life"* and that there is a need to just submit to the fact that there is something,/someone greater who is one's own creator.

Out of wanting to do our part was what gave birth to having a dream.

That want, that need, that desire, that wish, that imagination, that hope, that dream.....and finally that picture!

Yet one must learn that he who is in the picture doesn't see the frame. As a result, the only one who can see it, I mean the whole total and perfect picture, far beautiful than what you can ever imagine, is the only one able to tell you the "HOW TO" painting the pictures, I mean directions to chasing the dream, that "how to" go about the easiest way of having and living that painted fufilled life, and one have to always ask him (DIRECTIONS IS KEY).

*Don't panic!* You're not others, you are you and you is unique (hope that pass for a rhyme?), Your pictures are different, your frames are different, the dream is different and so on, but most importantly, your timing are different.

Do unto yourself as your neighbors do unto themselves (learn to love yourself). Never play cards with a man called Doc. Never eat at a place called Mom's. Never sleep with a woman whose troubles are more than your own. Never let nobody talk you into shaking another man's jolt. And never you cop another's man's plea.i have tried them all and i know. They don't work!

What works is the doing. Do noble things, not dream them all day long. Do anything, but let it produce joy. Stay focused, go after that goal, as long as it's sets your soul on fire, pray, then you'll grind.

But remember you have a lot to prove, but to yourself alone. Stay in tune with the Creator and ask for directions. I see you reaching the milestones that leads to living independently as possible. I wish you growth in self-confidence and becoming your own self advocate.

Dear friend, may you find the strength, passion and love to live a purposeful life. Selah

*TIME* is the substance from which I am made, a river which carries me along life's journey. It is the illimitable, silent, never-ending thing which we and all universe swim like exhalations.

Some defined *TIME* as the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and the future as a whole. Yet it is the reef upon which all our frail mystic ships are wrecked.

Though it is sometimes a dimension in which events can be ordered from the past through the present into the Future yet it is the subtle thief of all youth.

I once heard a man grown in time said, "TIME is a physician, a revealer, a blabber and the devourer of all things (Good & Bad). I couldn't help but wonder at his definition as I have known this said devourer to be the one who brings all things in due time, cutting into my thoughts, He said, those are the the times that try the soul of men, for in sorrow will they enjoy the company and the longetivity of time cause the happier the time, the faster it goes away.

With a deep sigh, I said, Baba but it's those who make the worse use of their time that complains of it's brevity. He just smiled and asked *"TIME goes you say? Ah no! Alas TIME stays, we go"*.

My son time is that which man is always trying to kill, but ends in killing them. More confused, I asked, Baba what exactly do I tell my people time is? Many were Baba's replies, but here's is a Major;

Tell them *TIME IS NOW!* For those who have most to do, and are willing to let work will find the most of time.

Tell them to read from the good book, Ecclesiastes 3:1-9 and Acts 1:7 for there the wise will find many answer to their questions.

For a moment I thought the TIME has come to talk about many things i learnt from those pages, yet I have to make this letter short because I lack the TIME to make it longer.

Already I have stumbled in ignorance and fallen into pools of self pity, yet will I continue my journey unencumbered with either the the weight of unnecessary knowledge or the handicap of meaningless experience.

Today, I shed my old skin which hath, too long, suffered the bruises of failure and the wounds of mediocrity.

Today I am born anew and my birth place is a line yard where there is fruit for all.

Today I will pluck grapes of wisdom from the tallest and the fullest vines in the vineyard of knowledge.

Today and it's hours is all I have and I will see and live it as my eternity.

As I forget the happenings of the day that is gone, whether they were good or bad and handle today which I have, like the best day of my life.

Others may build caves with their clays, I am here to build a castle with mine. After all, to surpass the deeds of others is unimportant; TO SURPASS YOU OWN DEEDS IS ALL.

Dear friend, keep getting better, form good habits, love and show it, persist inspite of the challenges, multiply your value and let each NAY you hear bring you closer to the sound of YEAH.

And if after reading this note of mine, you still feel in the blue, say to yourself now that

Technology Market / It's Not Illegal ! by OlamartDynasty(m): 10:41pm On Feb 12, 2018
Its not illegal to leak a secret, so I'll let you in on this one.

You are one man!

You don't need more than one wife/Gf.

You don't need more than one hustle, push one idea to it's limit before you do another.

Unlimited riches tho art permitted, its management alone, thy shall shew thyself approved.

That only HE requires of you. Money principles are numerous but it has only one formula,

40% - Needs
30% - Wants
20% - Savings
10% - Tithing/Charity

Must be applied to every Kobo that enters your pocket, regardless of the form they came.

That's how to sustain, appropriate and grow what you have.

Remember, there just one God! Only HIM shall thee truly serve.

N.B: God+(1)wife+(1)hustle+Money management = *success*

They might want my head for this, they'll know where to find me. I'm here to liberate destinies.

Son of a god.
The street was cold, it was the fourth of September and school was supposed to resume on the seventh. I had to get my mind off thoughts that involved school as I walked around looking for a payphone. After a while I saw a building, it looked like a brothel, music was on and it was quite loud. I walked in,I scanned the place first, the light was quite dim, there were about thirty to fifty people inside. I walked over to a man that seemed to be in charge. "Excuse me sir but can you please help me? I need to make a phone call". I said to him. " Did you read the signboard that's outside before entering here"? he asked. I needed to make a phone call quickly. "Listen I'll give you some cash, just let me use your phone to make a call, please?" I pleaded with him,he agreed quickly,I'd give him five dollars and in exchange he'd allow me to make a call. I dailed uncle's number, after a while he picked the call. He seemed worried, after telling him what happened I told him that I was on my way to his house. Since uncle lives in a different city it would be quite expensive to get to his house but since I could easily disappear and appear in his house,I wouldn't need to spend a dime. I gave the phone back to the manager and said thanks, although before giving him back the phone I deleted uncle's number, I didn't want to leave his number in a stranger's phone. Within seconds I was in uncles compound. He lives in a seven bedroom flat bungalow. I called uncle to let him know that I had arrived, he was surprised,he couldn't understand how I could have gotten to his house so fast,I had to come up with a lie which he didn't fully believe, but at least it was good enough. He let me into his house,we talked for a while and then he showed me where to sleep, the visitors room was quite luxurious.

You must have been a rich kid in the previous life to have still had enough cash to pay the man.

THIS IS QUITE AWESOME OF A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD.

I would love to work with you, there might be few things you would learn to brighten your horizon.

The ONLY way to Activate your Imaginations is to REFLECT on them...

And, the ONLY way to activate your REFLECTIONS is to develop internal ENERGIES ( positive or negative ) towards your REFLECTS.

The easiest way to activate ANY of these Energies( positive or negative ) within you is to "WRITE".

Johnnydon22 , Seun, Akin Alabi, Pavore9, Plattoen and so many smart nairalanders on here unconsciously, subconsciously and consciously KNOW that " WRITING" is the ACTION TRIGGER to grow and make manifest any imagination from the unconsciousness to consciousness (real life).

Coincidentally, this thread is another virtual trigger to my real existence ( who I really am?). Something I have been shying away from...

A pointer: Ask yourself this question;

Why really do I exist ?

This is a question every living individual should have answer(s) to.

And the answer(s) to the question above can not be farfetched when you answer yourself with this question :

"What is my service to humanity ?"

Now, this is becoming more confusing right?

And the answer(s) to the immediate question above can not be farfetched when you answer yourself with this question :

" What can I do to HEAL THE WORLD?"

Rings a bell right?
...Michael Jackson was totally right when he sang back in time with some other amazing musicians who saw the need for the world to be a better place when they activated their REFLECTIONS through WRITING the Lyrics and SINGING the song ' Heal The World'. ( That is their own way of helping humanity - touching the life of humanity through strings and chords of their hands and voice). No doubt, helping humanity brings about ABSOLUTE SUCCESS.

Yea, the world already is in so many problems and troubles today...how do you and I contribute to solving/reducing one or many of the problems of the world?

This simple act is what makes successful people successful - Solving problems for people ; and this makes them happy and successful.

And the ONLY way to achieve success (helping people; solving problems) is to BE REAL.

Being REAL is to practice and master the "ART of Nature"

I am presently working on a book I titled : " The School of Life - LIFE IN BRIEF"...

Once I'm done, I will be putting it up on nairaland for free.... I will be sending you personal copy if you so want one.

Send me the book if you now have it written

Business / Money Mistakes You Should Never Make!! by OlamartDynasty(m): 8:38am On Sep 25, 2017
*Money Mistake 1:*
Never borrow money that accrues interest to start a business (except if you are paying for it through your salary); only borrow to grow your business. This is because business takes a long time to gain ground and begin making profit, yet most loans repayments have to be made within a month of taking the loan or even earlier. Therefore, never borrow money to start a business expecting that the business will generate income to pay back the borrowed money plus the interest.

*Money Mistake 2:*
Never spend money you haven't received. Don't even promise someone money based on a promise you have from someone else. If someone tells you: "Ezra, come to my office tomorrow at 9am and pick N3,000"don't go out to buy items on credit based on this promise, with the hope that you will pay off your creditor when the promised money comes; it may not come as promised and this will leave you in problems with your creditors.

*Money Mistakes 3:*
If you want to save, whenever you receive money, don’t start spending hoping that you’ll save what remains. Normally what remains is zero because as long as money to spend is available, the numerous things you can spend it on are also available. And things to spend on even incite their 'relatives' so that you spend even more than you had planned. When money to spend is not available, we naturally find a way of doing without it. That's why I've learnt to save in an INVESTMENT ACCOUNT. .

*Money Mistake 4:*
When you get an opportunity to meet a very wealthy person, never ask for money. Ask for ideas on how to make money. They may even choose to give you money on their own after seeing that your ideas are great, but let getting money from them never be your objective.

*Money Mistake 5:*
Keeping your seed instead of planting it. Many people stop at saving. It's very, very difficult to save and have all you need to maintain your lifestyle especially after retirement. When you save, your savings are seed; plant it. When you just keep the seed (saving money) some seeds begin to die (eaten by inflation and the like). That's why I recommend that you read about the different types of investment vehicles you can use to grow your savings. I am not necessarily talking about putting the money in a business, because you can easily lose money in  business. I am talking about putting it in an investment.

*Money Mistake 6:*
Never lend someone money you are not willing to lose. By the time you lend someone money, be contented in your heart that should the person fail to pay, you will not die. You should not even lose that person's friendship if they fail to repay the money you lent them. If you feel the person might fail to pay you and this will not affect your relationship with them, then lend them money. If their failure to pay would make you hate this person’s entire clan, please advise the person to go to the bank.

*Money Mistake 7:*
Never append your signature to guarantee someone on a financial matter if you are not willing or able to pay the money on their behalf. Do I have to explain that one? No, it's self-explanatory.

*Money Mistake 8:*
Avoid keeping money you don't intend to use in the short-term within easy reach. For instance, don’t walk with N10,000 in your pocket when all you plan to do in a day costs N2,000. Like I mentioned in Money Mistake 3, there are always expenses available to gobble any money that is within reach, so if you don't want to lose it, put it away in a safe place.

*Money Mistake 9:*
Avoid keeping money in inappropriate places e.g. in socks, under the pillow, in a pit, in the sitting room, in the bra, in a travel bag that you will place somewhere in a bus ... impulse buying is a devil that will keep you busy!

*Money Mistake 10:*
Spending money on an item that you can do without (at least for the time being). These days when I pick money from my pocket or wallet, before paying for something I ask myself: What would happen if I didn’t buy this? If I find I can live with the consequences of not having that thing, I smile and walk away.

*Money Mistake 11:*
Paying an amount for something that's not the minimum you can get that same value for. In other words, if you are at Spar and you pay N15,000 for a shoe that you can get at N3,000 at Rumuokoro, that's a money mistake except for those who have achieved financial freedom.

*Money Mistake 12:*
Wanting to be the savior of the world by helping everyone in financial need. My sister, my brother,  you are not Jesus. If you find it so hard to say no to a financial demand, you may think you are practising generosity when in actual sense you are committing (financial) suicide. We are not learning to be miserable here; we are learning to live within the boundaries of reality.

*Money Mistake 13:*
Consistently spending all you earn or more than you earn. It's like having a drum where you have an inlet that's smaller than the outlet. It will never get full. And should the inlet ever reduce significantly the drum will run dry. If you do it the other way round and the inlet is bigger, it will get full and even overflow. Hence, we have to always ensure we are widening the inlet while narrowing the outlet – all the time. Your side hustle comes in handy!

*Money Mistake 14:*
Thinking about short-term only and forgetting about long-term or thinking about the long-term and forgetting about the short-term. For instance, Lydia was told that there's money in land. She saved money over a long period of time and bought 30 acres of land. Now she has the land but she is always broke. She is always complaining. She's disgruntled and she doesn't seem to see herself earning from the land in the near future. Now, let's ask ourselves: Having 30 acres of land and no money to feed your family or take a child to hospital, is that wealth or poverty?

I think Lydia only looked at long-term needs and forgot that she has short-term needs that require money. What of those who find they are one paycheck away from salary? Are they thinking about the long-term needs?

Do you now feel better-equipped to do better with these tips? Enjoy the journey , savers!
