The post you read was made in July 2014, over 6 months ago. By then, 250mb was available on MTN and it went for #400.
Unfortunately, in October 2014, MTN changed some of their policies that meant we couldn't offer data less than 1gb anymore. Our 1gb goes for #1,200. If you're interested in getting the 1gb data plan, kindly send us #800 through the same channel you sent the first #400 and you should get your data within 15 minutes.
