I am following this discussion with keen interest because i am in the same situation and I intend to go to Alberta as well. It's short landing as well but short landing for 4 to 5 months (length of my maternity leave). Can I complete the last month anytime within the one year or it has to be 6 months at a stretch. In my case it took about 4 emails on different occasions before they replied me. I also know of people who never got a reply after sending several emails. So it isn't unusual. You can order a GCMS via www.gcmsbuddy.com, should cost 7.99 USD. If you are not comfortable with using a thirdparty site, you can have a friend who is legally resident in canada order for you on https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/privacyTerms.do would cost 5 CAD

thats normal. they should reply you after some days or weeks depending on how busy they are. In the event that they never reply, you can order for your GCMS, it would furnish you with the necessary detail.

Find below an excerpt from a PPR mail. There is actually no vfs centre specified to submit your passports. The things i forsee as issues (not big ones anyway) are: 1. Your passports will not be submitted as one application which i expect the visa officer to handle. 2. Your passport processing will be on hold until they get all the passports from that application because it should be treated as one application...(my opinion). I suggest you contact the visa office in Accra for clarification.

When did you put dollar on the card? It takes about 24 - 48hrs for the dollar to actually reflect on the card. If it keeps declining, call the the number on the back of the card, you can also get a screenshot of the response you keep getting and take it to the customer service officer at the bank

the rates keep changing. As at Wednesday online converter gave me $1800 for 2230cad. I used first bank card and I was charged $1866. Just load like $2000 if it's a dollar card

If you're using WES, I strongly suggest you fax them your certificate, wait for them to let you know it has been sent to osu, visit osu and then have them respond to the email. That's all, you don't even need your transcript.
My husband did his that way and his verification is complete.

Till this moment, the transcript has not been sent. We just wasted 50k on that crappy school.

Hello, please for people that have degrees from OAU, how did you get them to send your transcripts? Has anyone used this website :www.etx-ng.com? If yes, how long did it take for WES to receive it?

Paid and faxed documents to IQAS on Friday 10th March.

Got email acknowledgement of the application from IQAS on Wed, 15th March.

My Uni emailed me on 10th March that the transcript had been taken to the post office. This has not got to IQAS yet.
