Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pls Help I Need A Job!! by Olamsoh: 11:11am On Nov 08, 2018
Many have tried, some are still trying but no one has actually found a solution to unemployment in Nigeria. The federal and state governments are doing their best too.

There are jobs but it's not all that you can see both online and offline. That's why we have taken the initiative to contribute our little effort to ensuring a percentage of unemployment in Nigeria is yanked off after a period of 1 to 5 years. We are strategically working to build a solid system that will benefit Nigerians in and out of the country. Now we need you to join in this effort.

If you're actively or passively looking for a job regardless of how experienced you are, let's assist you today. Also share with your friends (and foes, if you don't mind), brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, father, mother etc

Year 2018 is almost running out with 50 days, it will be will be awesome and better before the year end!!!

Also, we understand that there are hundreds of jobs portal in Nigeria but there are also hundreds of unadvertised/internally announced vacancies that we get a hold on daily. So if you want to get alerts on such vacancies, join us https:///E2iCiBogsav97cC9m4NxWy … for the latest and most current jobs unadvertised!

And yes, we could post them here, but such clients/companies want to remain confidential to the general public Good morning

Jobs/VacanciesUpdated-New Job Vacancies 2.0 '18 by Olamsoh(op):
Have you been applying countless to several jobs without getting any response?

Follow this thread and find out why

For every vacancy put out there is something called JD. It means Job Description.

It contains all the details the company/recruiter will look out for in your CV. Because it is your CV they will see before meeting you

A lot of people do '"try your luck" and rush to apply without first checking the JD to know if they fit in

Some check the JD and tell themselves they can perform the role or they are a fast learner meanwhile their CV reads something else

Example. There is a vacancy for HR officer with 3 years experience. Location is lagos. Send cv to xyz@yahoo.com using HR officer as subject. People that have no HR experience or have experience in another field e.g sales will apply. When they do, they will never get feedback

Some will apply and use any subject they like and expect to receive feedback. It won't happen. Others will use the subject and the body of the mail will be empty. They will just attach CV. You won't get feedback

Some will use the right subject add body to their email but forget to attach their CV. You won't get feedback

Another mistake is to forward a mail you have sent to a previous application to a new application. You won't get feedback. Then the job location reads lagos. Your own address reads bauchi and you want feedback? Have they finished attending to those in lagos?

Thousands of people apply so recruiters will be strict in filtering the number of candidates they will assess/interview. There are two ways CVs are sorted out. Manually or Automatically using something called ATS meaning Applicant Tracking system.

For the manual method. Human beings (recruiters) check the CVs against the JDs. If your CV meets the requirements you ll be shortlisted. For the ATS. Keywords from the JD have been inserted into the software. The software will automatically sort the CVs based on the keywords.

I also have a tabletop ironing board, bought brand new from Jumia. I thought it was a normal ironing board till it arrived. I tried returning it, but it was past the 7 days deadline. Now it's just in my bedroom occupying space.

I also have a moveable wardrobe. Won't be needing it any longer because I got a wooden drawer.
