Awolowo was a power drunken man.

He fought Akintola which subsequently divided yorubas among tribal lines.

In the 80's he tried to stage a coup against IBB which never materialised; he had to take his own life to avoid the shame.

Zik wasn't this desperate he was a detribalised Nigerian even to-death.
