They have the necessary weapons for close air support (CAS) in this kind of warfare, both in rotary wings and fixed wing. They even have drones that can deliver ordinance from beyond visual range (BVR). Unfortunately, they are not ready. Money must be made, and their "fathers", "brothers ", "husbands" must be protected.

I don't know which country but it's in Africa and I hope you saw that short video .

A traffic officer on the road turned back a semi truck full of soldiers on a road that drove one way against traffic. That truck had a machine gun of some sort hanging on its roof. The soldiers even came down apologized and begged the traffic police to let them pass but the traffic officer stood hia ground and turned them to go back and follow the other side.
Note that other side had a long grid lock of vehicles that were not fast moving....

If soldiers drove one way and they are caught and reported to the provost Marshall. They are in for a bigger trouble. I have stopped at traffic light in Allen Avenue, Lagos before and this guntruck loaded with soldiers pulled up behind me and also waited. They just can't flout civil rules just because they are soldiers

You are very wrong. If those soldiers are attached to for the protection of his live and properties, then they are under his command for as long as he is still alive.

Every retired Generals (Ceremoniously) has soldiers serving under them.

A military personnel should not in any way be out blocking a minister from carrying out his duties.

Nigeria is NOT Pakistan.

In the scheme of things, the military is beneath the Executive arm under the constitution and a Minister is senior to even the Chief of Defense staff.

So, who is the army guy's boss that sent him to prevent a Minister of the Federal Republic from performing his lawful duties

In a serious country, the military senior that sent the guy to do the hatchet job will be investigated and demoted. But not in Nigeria. No wonder we have attempted coups.

We should look for your social study and government teacher and sue them both to court.

Resorting to illegal self help is not how to protect yourself. You protect yourself using legal avenues. The land in question will be revoked and there is absolutely nothing the former CNS will do about it.

You are just here running mouth and foaming everywhere. When you retire ceremoniously as a Chief of Naval staff, you retain things like you service rifle, all your service uniforms. In addition, officers of different ranks are assigned to you to protect you, your families and your properties for the rest of your life. Those soldiers you saw in the video were doing a legal duty as long as they are attached to the former CNS.

Some things are just above you. No federal minister can order or command a soldier on legal duty or military in general aside the one who gave the first order, or a higher rank officer than the one who gave the first order, or the President who is the C in C. Even the Vice president of the country would not have been able to order the soldiers out of that property yesterday if he had gone there himself.

Learn before you embarrass yourself publicly.

Why didn't he force his way in yesterday? I was expecting that after he spoke to the Chief of Defence Staff, they would order them off the site. If you watch video, you would see that the Lieutenant also spoke to the same person using Wike's phone. Why didn't the soldiers vacate the property after call? Why was it wike who left instead.
I pity bulldozers and demolition team that will be deployed there.

If there was a wrong side in the yesterday's incidence, it definitely has to be Wike.

If you want to fight for him, go to the said site and slap the soldiers on guard there.

You're comparing former Housing minister and PDP chairman to a 3 star General 🌟 🌟 🌟. Maybe you'll find out eventually.
