I didn't say that. One carries your VISA, one shows your citizenship is still valid. People travel with three passports, especially the ones that travel alot. I travel with two and they refer to where you have your visa stamped.

The two are not valid at the same time.

I'm not sure you can hold two valid passports at the same time. Immigration officers cancel the one about to expire.

Visa approved this morning @ exactly 3 months of application.

Applied: 16th April,
Medical request: July 3rd
Medical passed: July 11th
Approval/Passpport Request: July 16th

This came after a refusal last year. But God has done it.

Tell me you did not check yours everyday. Or at least every 2days. That thing no easy abeg, me that i was checking morning and night, later i moved to only night to avoid checking twice a day.

Hello please I need some enlightenment on my visa application at brandon university which was denied this noon there are some reasons stated on it why it was denied.
1.i am not satisfied that you will leave the Canada at the end of your stay as stipulated in sub section 216(1) IRPR, based on the purpose of your study.
2. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay,as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of IRPR, based on the personal assets and financial accets
3.I am not satisfied that you have truthfully all questions in the documents you have submitted in support of your application,as required by subsection 16(1) IRPA specifically.I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful:Answering NO to question 2b on application form IMM 1294

Please guys I need advise on this and enlightenment as I am willing to apply for the visa

a) Have you ever used any other name (e.g. Nickname, maiden name, alias, etc.)? (NO or Yes)
b) family name and given name

Maybe your program is actually 1 year or a mistake was made. You should renew 6 months before the end of your permit.
