I think it is the band that Etisalat and GLO are using . Glo is using band 28 and gionee m5 have no band 28.
Etisalat is using band 3. Gionee m5 support the band 3. I will advise you to go to Etisalat center.

Caught lying again.

This is why Tecno keep on lying about specifications. Many of their phones when checked online reads compass enabled. But when you install compass on them it fails to rotate.
Look do not say what you know not. I have operated TECNO phones up-to camon c9 and below none of them is compass enabled.
Moreso I have once read it that camon c8 is compass enabled.

bro pls glo lunched their 4glte network yesterday, wanted to know if m5 works wit Glo. some peeps are saying glo is using 28 bla bla bla don't HV an idea of what that means so pls can glo 4g lite work with gionee m5??

I am presently using GLO 2500 for 10gb on my m5. It is reasonably fast on 3G. Thank God for the 4G now.

Lol. Dude, just accept current reality. I used to feel like you about Tecno products in the past because of how the brand started but they have learnt their lesson and gone back to the drawing board to make better products. Their improvements has been rapid and tremendous. Live with it.

The fact still remain that Tecno is still upcoming. Gionee is ahead of TECNO.
Imagine the best TECNO phone is not compass enabled.

I don't know why Tecno fans are like this? They don't die easily. Even China didn't recognize Tecno as a Chinese product. As of today Tecno has no country of origin. They lie about specifications that's why they don't parade their products in Mobile World Congress . What annoys me most is that Tecno fans always say Tecno is better than the world leading mobile company (Samsung).

Generally Gionee is not on the same level with Tecno. Gionee's products are far better than Tecno's

Bro I have rooted my Gionee m5 and have used titanium back and toolhero to freeze the gn_sales track and Gn_sales statistic but it still removing my money seriously,please sir is their any idea of how to finally remove Gionee m5 "Mobile Security" because now am going Gaga.Even my last hope was to go their gcare centre at Ikeja but can you imagine that there customers care also can't solve the issue and they call their self Gionee engineer. Please ooo if any one can help me ooo... Av tire of airtime deduction.

I don't believe that. Gionee engineers will surely fix the problem. I have tested them time without number. Just tell them you need soft ware re run.

Well, take it to Gionee care center and ask for software re-run. For me I hate rooting of phones.

The finger print security has failed to work even after much trail by Slot staff. I have no problem with the company but let them stop advertising it as if it can work like iPhone.

I was at microstation like week. The finger print security was tested for me and it works.
Maybe the slot staff never use any finger print security phone before. Look don't be surprise, you may know things those slot staff may not know.
