PoliticsRe: Will Biafrans Need Work Permit In Nigeria? by old2boy(op): 10:25pm On Dec 04, 2015
How long is the ECOWAS visa free travel stay?
PoliticsRe: Will Biafrans Need Work Permit In Nigeria? by old2boy(op): 9:57pm On Dec 04, 2015
I thought of ECOWAS actually but remembered Ghana-must-go. Some of the best school teachers then were Ghanaians but were deported as illegal immigrants or workers without valid papers. Are you sure of the duration of the free travel, and the work aspect? Last time i checked, Ghana had always been ECOWAS.

zendy:
If you look at the top of the Nigerian passport, you will see "ECOWAS" embossed on it. What this means is that any of the 15 member nation in the ECOWAS sub-region can travel, live and work in each other's countries, including Nigeria, without the need for visa or work permit. Biafra will apply to join ECOWAS and that application is likely to be accepted since Biafra is in West Africa and used to be a member under Nigeria. When Biafra joins ECOWAS, they will be free to travel to any part of Nigeria, live and work without any work permit unless Nigeria pulls out of ECOWAS.
PoliticsRe: Will Biafrans Need Work Permit In Nigeria? by old2boy(op): 7:59pm On Dec 04, 2015
No NOT FINISHED & definitely Not about how to rule Biafra but about serious consideration before action that may soon be regretted by some or exploited by others.

I am old enough to remember witnessing the expulsion of Ghanaians in the early 80s. Maybe that is the origin of calling large polythene sacks 'ghana-must-go'. Many lost all. Are Biafrans ready to leave Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: Will Biafrans Need Work Permit In Nigeria? by old2boy(op): 7:29pm On Dec 04, 2015
Are they there now in the same proportion as 'Biafrans' are in other parts of Nigeria? If not, what will make them go there?
PoliticsWill Biafrans Need Work Permit In Nigeria? by old2boy(op): 6:42pm On Dec 04, 2015
Just watching the development so far and pondering if Nigeria without Biafra will benefit by making money from work permits and taxation of 'foreign' businesses.

Is there any Political scientist in the house to enlighten us?

Kizzy, that was great! I suggest you put everything together, polish, embellish with a few of what went on in Kansas, Abeokuta, and kid's school to make it different and then publish as e-book. I am sure you will sell. No wonder you must be @ Great Ife. The sky cannot be your limit while other planets exist. Keep it up and write another one soon. ;

Christianity EtcRe: God Was WITH God by old2boy(m): 3:16pm On Aug 28, 2015
I initially thought op was being sincere. As long as humans think with their brains that God is 3 dimensional restricted by size, time and volume, they will not understand the creator.

In the beginning God.... (Gen.1.1) Implies God existed before time.

In the beginning the Word...... (John 1.1) Implies God speaks

God said "let there be light" and there was light... (Gen. 1.3)

God said " let ........ , (Gen.1.6,9,11,14,20,24) shows God creating by the power of the spoken WORD

DO NOT STOP READING AT VERSE ONE IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND JOHN 1

Read up to John 1:3. You will find John 1:3
"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." Implies Jesus was the spoken work creating in Genesis

Op's word heard across the street was with op and is actually op not two personalities.

What I have explained above is not easy to comprehend for everyone though as Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:18
Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Christianity EtcGod Is Good by old2boy(op): 2:43pm On Aug 28, 2015
Despite all the problems and issues confronting mankind, when one stops to consider the way earth revolves, rain refreshes, plants grow and feed animals including humans, one cannot but appreciate the GOODNESS of the creator GOD.

THANK YOU GOD.
PoliticsRe: Ooni, Before His Death, Spoke Of Marginalisation Of The Yoruba Race – Obasanjo by old2boy(m): 2:15pm On Aug 28, 2015
Sad it took the passing of the Ooni for Obj to realise that his romance with the Hausa/Fulani leads to marginalisation of the Yorubas. Nzeogwu, Awolowo, MKO, etc should turn in their graves at these words.
PoliticsRe: Is This True? by old2boy(m): 2:26am On Jul 27, 2015
Both wrong!

People do not go with gifts to the president. They go to Aso Rock to collect contract, envelope, letter of introduction, political appointment, and 'their share of the national cake' just wait and see.

The success of that plan and eventual trial of powerful Dikko would av killed corruption in Nigeria. Sadly the failure opened gates to massive siphoning of Nigeria‘s wealth and escape of looters to enjoy stolen funds.

why calling on the Young man when the OP's news has no credible source.
Not every post is a news item that needs source or sauce. Above is opinoin of op though referencing where the Speaker made the statement could be useful for those who had not heard or read it.
PoliticsRe: Dogara's Standpoint On People's Supremacy In Nigerian Politics - The Truth by old2boy(m): 2:02am On Jul 08, 2015
ok God is Supreme but He uses people & organisations.
Smart politicians know people are feeble and can easily be misled. For the last election, APC controlled ‘believable‘ media up north and only fools felt they could help the people by joining lesser known parties.
