To build is hard but to destroy is easy. Continue to say good things to yourself, it will surely come to pass.

You will declare good things to yourself, speak positively about your life and future, yet the opposite will happen to you.

Then, when you get fed up and wish for death, people tell you not to say such that there is power in the tongue.

Does power in the tongue only works on bad things?

Beautifully put.

rickleye:

If bill clinton and Hillary can patch things up being profile people anyone can . You have to want to and believe in the marriage.
Most ladies have it in mind that there husbands , hubby cheat. They may not talk about it directly but they are aware of side chicks. As long as you don’t flaunt it in their face or disrespect them they are okay. But there is another group , who believe the best in their hubby and only the best . These are those that are hurt the most when the cheating is found out and may not be able to heal and recover from the scandal.
As long as husband is prepared to recommit to marriage and go through counseling then it can happy but if he’s someone who’s into porn and sexually suggestive videos - it will happen again.

1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;

2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.

3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner.

4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem;

5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public;

6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;

7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;

8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;

9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you're;

10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.

11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;

12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;

13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;

14. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors' appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say "I hope you’re okay". Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they'll do so without your inquisitiveness;

15. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;

16. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude;

17. Never give advice until you’re asked;

18. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;

19. Mind your business unless anything involves you directly - just stay out of it;

20. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech.

21. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don't talk about your children in the midst of the barren.

22.After reading a good message try to say "Thanks for the message".

APPRECIATION remains the easiest way of getting what you don't have.

Romance / Today I Was Surprised To Know About Infibulation. by oldguyman: 9:30am On May 13
What surprised you today?
Today I was surprised to know about infibulation. You may be wondering what is infibulation ? No need to worry. see below:

It is the practice of removing the clitoris and labia of a girl or woman and sewing the edge of the vulva to prevent intercourse. This is complete shaving of the vagina and stitches to prevent the girl from having sex.

The vagina is sealed, leaving a small hole through which the girl can menstruate or urinate.

The girl's leg was bound with a rope for days to allow the wound to heal. The wound usually takes between 15 and 40 days to heal. During this time, the girl's legs are tied and she cannot move.

Basically, the stitches are made so that the husband can open them again on the wedding night so that he can have an intimate relationship with her. Imagine someone opening a stitch and immediately having sex with her.

Imagine the pain, I mean intense pain!!!

Imagine the traumatic experience, the pain that the girl will go through.

Isn't it better to let him decide whether to marry a virgin than to do that?

During birth, many women require repeated incisions because the vagina is too small for the baby to pass through.

It also causes urinary tract infections, fistulas and infertility in women.

The worst part is that women in Africa do this. I think this is where feminism should start.

It should be fought for African feminists and not about who should wash the dishes or cook or other irrelevant issues.

For your information, it is still practiced in some parts of Africa.

According to research, it was also practiced in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

It's heartbreaking

Girls do not deserve this abuse for being girls.

And the most curious thing is that no ideological movement has even tried to raise this issue or even talk about it.

Which of the useless business are you saying. What is stopping you from taking your fake business to your region and let see first. On this same platform, they have listed the names/companies of the real investors in Lagos and we all see the leading tribe. If you think your buying and selling is what make you business owners, then you are on your own. You need Lagos to sell so Lagos don't need you. Take your load and go back to your region, no one will hold you or miss you. Enough of crying all the time. Pack your load and go.

Your head is paining you if not you won't vomit such rubbish in a public forum as this. So they cannot hire someone to be monitoring their CCTV for 8/9 hours the children will be at school. If some organization like mall, hospitals and some estates are doing so then nothing stops a high paying school like this to be doing the same.

So they will sleep on their CCTV abi. And when they see that a child is about to be slapped on CCTV, they will appear magically on the scene and prevent it from happening abi cheesy

The school management has failed in their responsibility. Do you want to tell me a school such as this doesn't have CCTV to monitor the student activities. The parent should have slapped the school headteacher instead of the culprit.

Religion / Re: Why Are Heavy Spiritual Soaps Not Working For Me As A Yahoo Boy by oldguyman: 10:58am On Mar 10
Dear Armaniboywishes,

Let me start addressing you with some quotes about man's greatest enemy which is time.

1. Lost time is never found again. – Benjamin Franklin.

2. Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend. – Theophrastus.

3. Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back. Harvey Mackay

I brought the above quotes for you to have a rethink about your life. According to your narration, you finished your secondary school in the year 2016 and you couldn't go further because no one to sponsor you.
This means by the year 2026, it will be exactly 10 years you are through with your secondary school. By then you will have some of your colleagues that will be rounding up with their first degree, while some will be rounding up with their NYSC, some will be going for their masters, while some will be celebrating one or two achievements they have within the 10 years.

My brother, if you will listen to me, I think the best and the first thing you need to do now is to start pursuing your first degree. You have no excuse for now. If it is part time form at LASU or UNILAG go and get and start equipping yourself for the future. While you are doing so, enroll yourself in any tech training. The 130K you are earning monthly is enough for you to repackage yourself. Stop building your castle in the air by wasting money or what is not certain.

Why you need to go back to school and also get trained in tech:

Any sudden money with no education or skill tends to varnish within a twinkle of an eye. Ask yourself, will I continue to be looking for updates here and there for the rest of my life? Will I continue going from one babalawo to another celestial church woli, going from one alfa to another for soap, concoction or padlock to lock clients for the rest of my life. As a young man with less baggage, what you need most now is your degree and other physical skills to earn good morning. Again, stop building your castle in the air.

Back to spiritual soaps:

I will quickly touch this area not because of you but others like you wasting money up and down.

Before you embark in the spiritual line, you need to first study yourself and know what works for you. I mean what your destiny wants. Many people collecting money from you don't even know how to consult, they will just assume since they did the same soap for A definitely it will work for B & C. No, spirituality doesn't work that way. It is the same with physical too when the doctor will prescribe panadol for Mr A, and prescribe Paracetamol B because he knows they are both having headache but the cause of their headaches is different.
I believe the soaps you paid 150K the person might not spend 20K for the items used and just collect your money. There are things one could do for himself without paying anyone but you must first know what your destiny wants.

My final submission, education is the only platform that will open ways in a manner you least expect. Start saving your money and first thing, go back to school and also learn tech.
