Imagine my utter shock/horror when i visited SHOPLeft (in Surulere) - Dear God!!!       it was filled with Alaba and Idumota traders and some mbgueke-feeling-funky igbo girls. I could not understand why people will insult SHOPRite by wearing bathroom slippers to a super-market like it was on their street. uncouth men literary shouting at the top of their voice on their GSM trying to locate their friends within the Mall.

They close shop at 10pm. as i was leaving i saw a small crowd gathering at the door trying to get in and one ankara and lace-wearing fat woman started pleading to get inside and buy 1 pack of chewing gums -WTF!@!

What is wrong with wearing bathroom slippers to a mall, if that is what you feel comfortable in? No one in the West "baffs up" to go to a mall. You just dress in what feels comfortable as long as you are neat and tidy. Stupid naija mentality.

Currently on level 7 in Skyrim so now I can see why people choose this game. Still it feels lonely, all that walking around with nothing to see but trees is a bit depressing and combat is not as satisfying as AC: R though I enjoy the different options and the "finishing moves". Most of the time it just feels like Fallout 3 set in Ancient time.

I hope you do know you can fast travel between locations already discovered.

There are many different awards categories, but only one Game will be crown King of them all!

Its definitely going to be between Call of Duty MW3 or Battlefield 3. Uncharted 3 also have a chance

Both MW3 and Battlefield 3 where extremely disappointing, so I don't think they stand a chance.

Uncharted 3 should be the game of the year.

U3 will get a few nods but definitely won't win. I haven't played it, but have played U2 which was awesome. From what I see there is nothing really new or ground breaking, just more of the same, which really isn't a bad thing.

Gears 3 definitely has a chance. I'm so wrapped up in the multiplayer, I haven't touched the main campaign yet! Awesome game.

Software companies have got to take the African consumer markets more seriously. They have got to produce computer software specially tailored to suite African needs (pricing and availability)They have done so for the American, European, Japanese and even Australian markets, so why leave Africa behind? If they don't, then piracy is our only way forward, why should we be left behind?

@zPixel, those are impressive specs! I doubt many Nigerians can afford that.
So please is there are large PC gaming community? I plan on moving back to Nigeria next year, so I'm interested in knowing about the availability and affordability of PC Games, and about any gaming communities.
