There she met her husband from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sindika Dokolo, a son of a millionaire from Kinshasa and his Danish wife. There were reports, that when they got married in Luanda, in December 2002, the wedding ceremony cost about US$ 4 million, with a special choir flown in from Belgium and two planes chartered to bring food from France. About 800 guests were present at the wedding, half of them relatives of the couple, and also several African presidents.

Your sword of vengeance is at work - the sword you planted in Mbaise in the person of “my new vicar/delegate” and co. And fire has erupted on the mountain of mago-mago. Sure, Okpalaeke will now be very happy that his thugs are finally on a violent rampage to enthrone him as another “Bishop Mago-Mago.”
Your Eminence: You came to Mbaise without the Canon Law and hurried out without the Canon Law. You came with disorder and left behind your disorder in the hands of your appointed vicar/delegate and his henchmen. Whether inside or outside Ahiara Diocese, every act of yours in Mbaise has been marked by lawlessness and disorder. Ironically, the one, who was supposed to have been the custodian of Church law became the destruction of the same law. Your actions were based only on the fact that you have a red biretta on your head as a Roman Cardinal. Hence, every Canon in the Codex, typical of the Nigerian factor, became an exception for you leading us always to ask you: Where is your Canon Law or show us your Exception Code? With you, the Codex became moribund in Mbaise and Onaiyekology became a replacement, which is the embodiment of mago-mago. Your total failure in Mbaise is because the “Mago-Mago Code” was not allowed to become the law of the Mbaise nation. The most unfortunate thing is that your “gang of eight priests” eventually embraced this “mago-mago code.” This was the codex used in the St Brigid’s attack.
Your Eminence: Instead of upholding the rule of law in Mbaise, you introduced the era of lawlessness and chose the lawless “Gang of eight” to help you implement lawless acts. Accordingly, your principle of jurisprudence became Onaiyekology, which is inimical to Catholic jurisprudence that is anchored on justice and fairness for all. Once you ignored the Canon Law in your actions, you ignored the code of conduct of Catholicism as well because the Codex is also the Code of Conduct of the Catholic Church. On account of this, you became a Cardinal without a code of conduct in Mbaise, making appointments not consistent with Canon 272 of the Codex. This illegality produced an “akpụrụka (fake) vicar general/delegate,” whose recklessness has now put you in the eyes of the storm. The buck stops with you. Therefore, you are responsible for all the acts of lawlessness perpetuated by your “new vicar/delegate” and your henchmen. We are holding you directly responsible for the armed attack on St. Brigid’s rectory. You cannot appoint an illegal vicar general and not take responsibility for his illegal acts.
As it is now, instead of being the defender of the law in Mbaise, you became a breaker of the law, refusing to work with church institutions in Ahiara Diocese; refusing to work with the college of consultors; refusing to work with the presbyterium of Ahiara Diocese of more than 220 priests; seeking the canonical possession of Ahiara Diocese from the army and police; instigating Cardinal Filoni and other authorities against the Mbaise nation. Now, your disciples, the eight disgruntled priests you call your presbyterium, are following in your footsteps every inch of the way since you chose them to help you institute a war of Mbaise against Mbaise. Now, Your Eminence, come to St. Brigid’s Parish, Nnarambia, Ahiara and see the mayhem your recklessness and Okpalaeke’s arrogance of power has caused. Calling the police authorities, as it has been alleged that you have been doing, is not a solution to this booboo coming from you. If you are still the apostolic administrator, this is the time to come to Mbaise and face the charges against you. Your Eminence, YOU HAVE WRECKED AHIARA DIOCESE. We are so ashamed of your ungodly actions as the Cardinal of the Roman Church. Look at the scandal emanating from your actions. Listen to the Imo State Police Command advice you: “Meanwhile, Imo State Police Command has appealed to the Administrator of Ahiara Diocese, who doubles as the Archbishop of Abuja Ecclesiastical Province, His Eminence, John Cardinal Onaiyekan, to find a lasting solution to the lingering crisis bedeviling Ahiara Diocese, since the death of Bishop Victor Chikwe” (http://www.vanguardngr.com/…/catholic-priests-fight-dirty…/…). The Governor is asking you to take away the “pieces” you have left behind and bring back the PEACE that existed before your arrival in Mbaise as apostolic administrator. And many of the bishops are now scratching their heads in agreement with this characterization. Some of them can be seen scratching their eyelids.
Even in absentia, you have continued with this lawlessness via your illegal “presbyterium.” Since following the provisions of the Code would never legally allow you to achieve “mago-mago” in Mbaise, you had to follow the provisions of your “mago-mago code.” Accordingly, you have employed every unchristian method in your attempt to establish yourself as the Defender-in-Chief of injustice. Hence, YOU HAVE BECOME THE EMBODIMENT OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA. Bishop Chikwe warned against making you the Cardinal. And in his grave today, he has been vindicated. If only the bishops paid heed to him, the story would have been different today! Now, we have an apostolic administration without a de facto apostolic administrator.
The Otukpo - Benue State - Declaration
Your Eminence, there is something baffling about your activities with the gang of eight in Ahiara Diocese. As you know, truth is truth and does not change. But lies keep changing. For every one truth, you need only one truth to maintain it. But for every one lie, you need multiplied lies to maintain it because “lie begets lie.” Hence, one continues lying until one fits the unshakeable definition of a liar. This is now the situation in Ahiara Diocese situated in the context of your Otukpo Declaration that took place in Benue State, Nigeria in September 2013. Everything took place in the gathering of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria that took place in Otukpo. As you may recall, during that Conference, an Mbaise representative was present to make the case against injustice in Ahiara Diocese. This witness, among others, was there when you addressed the Conference on the Mbaise situation.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Femi Falana, has criticised the All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), for obtaining a loan of N27.5m to procure his party’s expression of interest and nomination form for the 2015 presidential election.

He made this remark on Thursday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, while speaking at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Paramount FM Chapel Press Week.

He noted that the action of the former head of state was indefensible, stressing that it amounted to monetisation of politics.

He said, “It is indefensible for Gen. Buhari to have obtained a loan facility of N27.5m just to obtain a form of intent to contest in the presidential election in 2015 under the All Progressives Congress.

“Is he going to obtain another loan during his campaign, because in Nigeria, it costs billions of naira to run a presidential campaign?”

Falana, who was the guest lecturer at the event, spoke on the topic: ‘Current Security Challenges: Implication for 2015 Elections’.

On the coverage of the 2015 election, the legal luminary advised journalists not to give undue advantage to any candidate, but should give all of them equal coverage, devoid of ethnic or religious colouration.

He also advised journalists to be wary of phony politicians who would want to play to the gallery, but should focus on issues.

He said, “Journalists must show more than a passing interest on how those aspirants want to manage the economy. The government must address mass illiteracy, corruption and poverty.”

Falana noted that the nation was facing security challenges such as kidnapping, armed robbery, terrorism, human trafficking because of the unemployment rate.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria called on the government to wake up and fight the security challenges confronting the nation the same way the Ebola scourge was tackled.

“Government gave Ebola Virus Disease attention because it is no respecter of anybody. But government is not conscious of the security of the people because they have security guards protecting them,” he said.

Montreal – The two men accused of carrying out separate deadly attacks in Canada thisweek had recently converted to Islam and wanted to join the extremistfight, officials and local media said Thursday.

Both men were killed during the violence, which officials called “terroristattacks,” the first such incidents tied to Islamic extremism ever to take place in Canada.

On Monday, 25-year-old Martin Couture-Rouleau, from Quebec, used hiscar as a weapon when he mowed down two soldiers near Montreal, killing one of them, before being shot dead by police ashe emerged from his wrecked vehicle holding a knife.

Then on Wednesday, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, 32, shot and killed a soldier who was on ceremonial guard at a war memorial in downtown Ottawa before storming into the nearby parliament building, where he was shot dead.

Though Canada had never been hit by such an attack, authorities knew the country was at risk, and militants have recently made new threats of violence in retaliation for its role in the Middle East.

Canada participated in the war in Afghanistan, where 158Canadian troops were killed between 2003 and 2011, and hasrecently joined the US-led military coalition against the Islamic State group in Iraq.

Canadian authorities have thwarted several attempted bomb plotssince the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States, as well asdisrupted terror networks that had targeted sites including the Toronto Stock Exchange, Parliament, and even a passenger train.

The crude methods deployed in thisweek’s attacks raise questions on law enforcement’s ability to act against“lone wolf”attackers, who operate outside known militant hierarchies and seem to respond to more general calls for violence from radical preachers online. – Passports confiscated –

According to initial investigations, Couture-Rouleau and Zehaf-Bibeau acted alone, and it’s not yet clear to what extent their acts were premeditated.

The two men had recently converted to radical Islam, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Couture-Rouleau was “a terrorist” inspired by Islamic State jihadists.

He converted to Islam a year ago and now preferred to be called “Ahmad”. In recent months, he increasingly had espoused extremist views to friends and online.

Zehaf-Bibeau had started using the name “Abdul” and had been banned from a Vancouver suburb mosque.

According to the Globe and Mail newspaper, he had links to Hasibullah Yusufzai, a Canadian accused of having joined the Islamic State group in Syria.

Canadian authorities had confiscated both mens’ passports, fearing they would go off to join IS, ashave another 130 Canadians, according to intelligence services here.

In July, Couture-Rouleau wasbarred atthe last minute from leaving for Turkey, a popular entry point for would-be jihadists looking to fight in Iraq and Syria.

Zehaf-Bibeau wanted to go back to Libya, a country he’d already visited and where hisfather had fought the Moamer Khadafi regime during the 2011 revolution.

Local press have reported that both men were isolated from their families.

According to Le Journal de Montreal, Couture-Rouleau’s ex-wife was fighting to keep custody of his three-year-old and he had not seen the child for five monthsbecause of hisconversion to Islam.

The mother of the Ottawa killer said her son had been alienated from the family for five years.
