Family / How To Determine Your Safe And Unsafe Period Within A 28 Days Menstrual Cycle by olisasegun(m): 7:32pm On Dec 16, 2015
Menstrual cycle is the process of ovulation and menstruation in women. It Starts from the first day you see your menses and ends the day before you see the next one. it is usually 28days, though it varies in some individuals.

Knowledge of safe and unsafe period helps;

1) to avoid sex when you don't want pregnancy

2) and more importantly, when to have sex to achieve pregnancy

For better understand of this discussion, let familiarise our self with some specific terms.

For this to work you must know the number of days in your cycle.

In achieving pregnancy, fertilisation has to take place which is a formation of zygote from an interaction between spermatozoa and egg/ovum after sex.

Unsafe period; this is define as days in your cycle that you can achieve pregnancy with unprotected sexual intercourse.

Safe period; this is define as days in your cycle that you can not achieve pregnancy with unprotected sexual intercourse.

Life span of a viable spermatozoa is 48 hours.

Life span of a viable ovum/egg is 24 hours.

What this means is that egg must be released within 48 hours of ejaculation and a couple must have sex within 24 hours of ovulation for pregnancy to occur.

Ovulation (release of egg/ovum) occurs on day 14 ( starting from the first day of your cycle). However, because ovary responses to certain hormones from the brain for ovulation to occur, time of egg release is variable. it can be released 2 days plus or minus day 14. In other words; ovulation can occur in any of days 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 in a 28 days menstrual cycle.

I mentioned ealier that spermatozoa can be viable for 48 hours, therefore, sex on day 10 will result in possible pregnancy if egg is released on day 12.

Equally sex on day 17, will lead to possible pregnancy if egg is released on day16 because the egg will be viable till day 17.

Therefore the true unsafe period is from day 10 to 17 in a 28 days menstrual cycle.

For the couples praying to God for pregnancy, you must have unprotected sexual intercourse at lease 3 times in alternate days within this period.

However, for those who want to avoid pregnancy, please abstain from sex during this period.

Warning; this is for women with 28 days menstrual cycle.

Investment / Ways To Trade Forex During Important News Release by olisasegun(m): 1:56pm On Dec 16, 2015
There are many ways to place trades around news time. I will describe three of the most common, each based on a different time to place the trade:

Placing pending orders each way is called a straddle. People who do this usually place the pending orders about 3-5 minutes before the news is released. Stops and targets will vary quite a bit depending on the nature of the news report. The advantage of a straddle is that if there is solid movement in one direction, only one order triggers and (if the movement is far enough) your order closes with a nice profit. The risk of a straddle is that widening spreads and erratic price action can stop out in both orders.

You can try to get the news information and place a trade before most of the market has a chance to react. This is called spike trading. To do this, you need a fast internet connection, a way to get the news very quickly, and (if possible) a way to automatically place the trade depending on if the news deviation is big enough and in what direction the deviation is. There are companies you can buy news feeds from. There are several autoclicker software packages out there that can be used to partially or fully automate placing the trades.

The third common way to trade the news is to wait for the initial spike to happen, then try to catch price movement back towards the pre-news price (price action back towards the pre-news price is called retrace). Learning to trade the retrace is something you can do by watching and demo trading (do NOT trade real money while learning to do this) over a period of time. Also, many trading rooms such as Forex Diamonds try to trade the post-spike retrace.

Health / Low Back Pain; What You Must Know by olisasegun(m): 12:40pm On Dec 16, 2015
Chronic low back pain could be caused by so many things;
diseases (like infections, rheumatoid arthritis, neoplasm, metabolic bone disease, degenerative disease, disc problems and others), trauma and commonly our careless way of life.

However this article is not about the causes but how you can prevent it from happening.

These are some life modification that can help in preventing low back pain.

Avoid standing or sitting in a particular position for too a long time.

Ensure your back is well rested while sitting.

Don't bend to pick anything from the ground, you either squat or kneel.

Avoid bending your back when you are about to sleep.

Get a good and comfortable sleeping mattress.

Drink a lot of water, minimum of 3L per day.

Ensure regular exercise, at least once in a week.

Finally, if you are already having low back pain you need to consult a doctor.
The doctor can then decide if you will need, back muscle strengthening exercise with analgesia or surgery.

Business / MTN Sees $5.2bn Nigerian Fine Reduced By A Third by olisasegun(m): 10:33am On Dec 03, 2015
Africa's largest mobile operator, MTN, has succeeded in its bid to reduce a $5.2bn £3.4bn) fine imposed by Nigerian authorities for failing to cut off unregistered users.

Nigeria wants mobile phone companies to verify the identity of their customers.

The government says it is concerned unregistered Sim cards are being used by criminal gangs.

The South African company has been in talks with authorities since October when the original fine was imposed.

It said on Thursday it had succeeded in reducing the fine by a third.

The original fine amounted to double MTN's annual profits last year.

Since it was imposed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), MTN has made a number of senior managerial changes, which included the resignation of the chief executive of its Nigerian unit, Sifiso Dabengwa.

"After further engagements with the Nigerian authorities, the NCC has reduced the imposed fine," MTN said in a statement. It added the fine was now $3.4bn.

Admired and valued

MTN has 231 million subscribers in 22 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. However, Nigeria is its biggest market.

In September, the company was named as most admired brand in Africa in the Brand Africa 100 awards, beating Samsung, while it was also awarded the continent's most valuable brand, worth $4.6bn (£3bn).

MTN was South Africa's second mobile operator when it was set up in 1994 after the end of apartheid.

It began its expansion across Africa four years later with operations in Rwanda, Uganda and Swaziland.

Epaul:
"i was a woman trapped in a man's body" - Dapo
imagine his quandary in a heartbeat, enter his skin and try to feel what Dapo felt even in a tick. You, the pharisees picking up stones certainly would keep mum, if you can grasp the fix he was in. This is way more than an incredible irony, more than a virgin Jewish lass, Mary being put in the club without having s.ex.

Pricilla, the last commentator said during Dapo's days in school "he was severally beaten.." for being who he was and is. Dapo certainly had his world's vale of tears and lived in the clink even though he lived in a society which really is a free country hinged on equality, Justice and freedom for all; which, in time gone by, had sought for freedom from her colonial feudal lords. So, much for freedom.

Think of the stigma and the verbal abuse Dapo probably would have been subjected to and gone through with clenched teeth in the hands of callous fellows who knew little about identity crisis and it's attendant dire strait.

This societal rejection should be reason enough to have made Dapo to be ill at ease and consequently made Dapo opted to go under the knife.
Pardon my french, I'm all for Dapo's choice, if that would help him taste freedom. I'm in support of it.

You really won't be in the know until you have lived with someone who's in similar cleft-stick. Those who are in this pickle are way out of being in the pink. It's no fairy-tale. The struggle is as real as a man born with six toes, like a siamese(conjoined) twin, like a woman born without womb, like a flat-chested girl, like a man with little pe.nis the size of a match-stick, like a sickler(ss), like a girl born blind trying to make sense of their stripes in a world that tags them unearthly abnormal.

Dapo, lead your life the way you deem fit. You were born free. Live freely. Man is born free but he is everywhere in chain. If indeed there is a God somewhere, i'm sure he certainly won't be snaky with you. He would want the best for you, for you to be happy and find calm. If God would be miffed about transgender of a girl like Dapo who was trapped in a man's body, then God should be angry with siamese(conjoined) twin being seperated through surgery. But i roundly don't think God would have a bone to pick with either of the two.

It's a free world. Live and let Dapo live.
What you don't understand is that, homosexuals have psychiatric disease/ problem, like schizophrenia, paedophile and misogynist. However, instead of the psychiatrist to help them in curing their diseases /problems, he rather helps them to live with their diseases. Soonest, others like pedophile and rapist will also be helped to live with their diseases

Card readers were apparently failing often at a polling booth near an Accenture staff's home. And the guy couldn't understand why...cos the readers were all new. So he approached the INEC woman. Inspected the reader. Only to find the protective film on the lense of the reader had not been removed. After a protracted argument he convinced the woman to remove it. The reader not only read the prior rejected cards, it was reading with even faster response time. Please share. It could help a lot.
