Hello there, I just got the Infinix Note 5 that runs Android 8.1 but I noticed there is no recent apps lock (Common in Hot 4 and 5 models) which is quite frustrating. I need to lock one very important app in the memory so that it'll forever be active even in the background, but Android keeps closing all my apps when the screen locks. Does anyone know if there is a method of activating this on Oreo? Or any way to stop the specific app from being killed? I've tried disabling Battery optimization for the app but it still ends up being killed.Thanks.

Water intoxication, also known as water poisoning or hyperhydration, is perhaps not something you would normally consider to be a serious problem. Like how could something as innocent-looking as water, with so much health benefits intoxicate? Well, actually it does. Water intoxication is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside safe limits by overhydration. You must have heard people say that too much of everything isn't good, and that includes water. Under normal circumstances, accidentally consuming too much water is exceptionally rare. But In a hydration-obsessed culture, people can, and do drink themselves to death as a result of Water intoxication. It may sound funny but nearly all deaths related to water intoxication in normal individuals have resulted either from water-drinking contests, in which individuals attempt to consume large amounts of water (thanks to the friends they keep), or from long bouts of exercise during which excessive amounts of fluid were consumed. In addition, I heard drinking a lot of water when suffering from Urinary Tract Infection helps the 'healing process', but this also could lead to Water Intoxication. Water is essential for Life Making up about 66 percent of the human body and it runs through the blood, inhabits the cells, and lurks in the spaces between the cells. But this water doesn't just remain stagnant. At every moment water escapes the body through sweat, urination, defecation or exhaled breath, among other routes. Replacing these lost stores is essential for maintaining balance but re-hydration can be overdone. Hyponatremia is a condition that occurs when the level of sodium in your blood is abnormally low. Sodium is an electrolyte, and it helps regulate the amount of water that's in and around your cells." Quantitatively speaking, it means having a blood sodium concentration below 135 millimoles per litre the normal concentration lying somewhere between 135 and 145 millimoles per litre. Severe cases of hyponatremia can lead to water intoxication, an illness whose symptoms include a headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, frequent urination and mental disorientation. Water Intoxication Causes According to Scientificamerican, the kidneys control the amount of water, salts and other solutes leaving the body by sieving blood through their millions of twisted tubules. When a person drinks too much water in a short period of time, the kidneys cannot flush it out fast enough and the blood becomes waterlogged. Excess water leaves the blood and is drawn to regions where the concentration of salt and other dissolved substances is higher, and ultimately enters the cells, which swell like balloons to accommodate it. Most cells have room to stretch because they are embedded in flexible tissues such as fat and muscle, but this is not the case for neurones. Brain cells are tightly packaged inside a rigid bony cage, the skull, and they have to share this space with blood and cerebrospinal fluid. The issue boils down to sodium levels. One of sodium’s jobs is to balance the fluids in and around your cells. Drinking too much water causes an imbalance, and the liquid moves from your blood to inside your cells, making them swell. Swelling inside the brain is serious and requires immediate treatment. Sometimes babies can have issues. Their bodies are so tiny that they can't handle lots of water. That's why doctors say infants should drink only milk or formula. Water Intoxication is more likely to occur in: Infants because of their low body mass, Marathon runners are susceptible to water intoxication if they drink too much while running and in people who perform activities that promote heavy sweating which can also lead to water intoxication when water is consumed to replace lost fluids.. Sometimes, when you hear the word 'addiction', your mind quickly starts conjuring images of people under the influence of hardcore drugs such as cocaine and marijuana. Funny enough, we're all addicts in our little (or big) way. There are certain things we do, places we go, things we eat or drugs we take that provide some kind of stimuli or sensation to the brain that's unlike anything you have ever felt in your entire life and your body keeps craving more and more. The brain attaches a great deal of importance to that 'thing', seeing it as quick feel-good means and you consequently get addicted. If that's your case, then Houston, we have a problem. Addiction is a condition characterised by compulsive engagement in rewarding stimuli, despite adverse consequences. It is the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. So with this post, we're going to identify and tackle some of our addictions. Sit back, relax and let's play a game. After reading this, I want you to type in the comments which one (or more) of the 10 addictions below you suffer from. Simple right? Let's get on with it then, here are 10 surprising things you may be addicted to. Surprising addiction 1: Surfing the internet You can never really think of a more pleasant way to pass time than spending time browsing the internet. Surfing the internet is surely one of the best ways to relax on the planet. It strangely has a way of meeting our every need and altering our mood; If you're lonely there are dating sites that promise to find you the perfect partner, If you're just bored to death You can just check out funny and amazing videos on YouTube, there's Facebook, News etc. All these are available at just a swipe of your Smartphone's screen. However, researchers in China revealed that internet addiction actually alters the brain in a similar way addiction to drugs and alcohol does. It is thought that sufferers of Internet addiction disorder (IAD) could face similar symptoms to those suffering from other addictions, including withdrawal symptoms. One study of users of internet-ready smartphones found that many are so addicted to their device they now hear “phantom vibrations” in their desperation to receive a message. Sometimes I even hear my cell phone ring in my head when in reality, my cellphone's battery is flat. Surprising addiction 2: Falling in love We all know that one person who goes from relationship to relationship, never seeming to spend more than five minutes alone. You may think that there is no greater feeling than having someone care and love you for no apparent reason (even if there is). Everyone wants to find love someday (I really do ), but if you find yourself jumping from one relationship to another with the inability to stay single for a month, then you're addicted to falling in love. Yep, that heart-racing, euphoric feeling of falling in love... turns out you can get hooked on it. According to psychologist Arthur Aron, who led a study investigating love addiction, falling in love activates the same system in the brain as drug addiction, making you crave that feeling again as soon as the first flush of love starts to fade. You find yourself crushing on almost every beautiful girl you see until eventually you get crushed. If that's your story, I want to see your comment below. Surprising addiction 3: Sugar Everyone seems to be writing songs about 'Sugar' lately, describing ladies or lips to be "♪ Sweet like sugar, Love so sweet like sugar ♪ ", and many other weird lyrics. Well, I can't really blame them. We all crave our favourite sweet treat from time to time, but did you know that you may actually be addicted to snacks such as doughnuts and chocolate? Studies have suggested that when we eat sugary snacks, chemicals called Opioids are released in the brain, leading to intense feelings of pleasure, and it is this feeling we often crave in the absence of sugar. In fact, according to research by a University of California team, sugar is both as damaging and as addictive as both alcohol and cigarettes. Surprising addiction 4: Tattoos and piercings While it may sound impossible for people to get addicted to having their bodies inked and pierced from head to toe, many people who start out with the intention of getting one tattoo or piercing will feel compelled to get more, which can feel like an addiction. While it is debatable whether this is a true addiction, it is certainly a compulsion for many, which may be partly down to the rush of feel-good Endorphins which are released during the process of getting a tattoo to help you cope with the pain. I know you're enjoying this. Continue to my blog to read more >>>> https://sciencehealth24.com/2020/07/health-10-surprising-things-you-may-be-addicted-to.html

Are you addicted to biting your nails? Do you want to stop that nail-biting habit of yours once and for all? Nail-biting, also known scientifically as Onychophagy or Onychophagia, is an oral compulsive habit many people develop right from childhood and it can potentially ruin the appearance of your fingers, could be unhygienic and can hurt pretty bad if you take it too far. If you're reading this, my guess is that you didn't stumble upon this post by accident and you're probably addicted to biting your nails. I used to be a nail-biting addict myself so I understand that feeling you get when someone asks "what happened to your nails?" and you just stand there speechless not knowing how to respond. I even went as far as eating the skin around the nails. Imagine how my fingers looked? Studies shows that 60% of children and 45% of teenagers bite their nails but the habit becomes less common after the age of 18. However, it may continue right into Adulthood. The worst part of it, which I'm sure you can relate to, is that you are not even aware that you're not even aware that you're biting your nails until you have have gone so deep and hurt yourself till you bleed. It could be while sitting through that very boring Lecture, watching a really cool horror movie, surfing the internet or just doing absolutely nothing. So why do people do it? Is Paracetamol dangerous? As we all know, Paracetamol, also known as Acetaminophen or APAP, is a very powerful painkiller (analgesic) used as a medication to treat pain and fever. It is typically used for mild to moderate pain. But what you don't know is taking Paracetamol in excess is dangerous. Most people actually confuse the names Panadol and Paracetamol, mistaking them to be two different drugs but they are basically the same thing. Panadol is just a brand name for the drug Paracetamol. Other names for it include Tylenol in the US and Calpol which is a liquid form for small children. It is typically used by mouth but is also available intravenously(directly into a vein) and effects last between two and four hours. Millions of families see the drug as a cheap way to get rid of that annoying headache or body pain that will not just go away, but research reveals that the dangers of the cheap painkiller have been greatly underestimated. The new study appears to indicate a link between long-term use of the popular medicine and increased risk of conditions like stroke, renal failure and gastrointestinal bleeding. Packets of paracetamol are used by millions of people daily to combat a host of common complaints like headaches, back pains and high temperatures. Enough stories, here are 6 dangerous effects of Paracetamol You probably didn't know: 1. Liver damage: Using paracetamol all the time can potentially cause fatal liver damage. In 2011 the US Food and Drug Administration launched a public education program to help consumers avoid overdose.
