Nazaretha1: Jubayr ibn Mut'im was the man who Abu Bakr initially gave Aisha's hands to in marriage before Mohammed came along. Both Jubayr ibn Mut'im and Abu Bakr were Islamic converts but this, alongside Aisha's unsuccessful war; the battle of the camel which was in revenge of Uthman's assassination; doesn't justify the fact that Mohammed's marriage with young Aisha was a paedeophilic act. Well, one would say child marriage was a common thing during the old world but then it struck me that someone as supposedly, spiritually connected with a higher power as Mohammed should know better. It was either Allah supported paedeophilia or Mohammed didn't have a spiritual encounter after all and most of all these spiritual brouhaha are just fictitious. It's all fictitious. Men before Muhammed did exact same thing e.g. Solomon. But it's all scripted |

Nazaretha1: He did bro. The majority of traditional Hadith sources state that Ai'sha bint Abu Bakr got married to Muhammad at the age of six or seven, but she stayed in her parents' home until the age of nine, or ten according to Ibn Hisham. She was born in Mecca, Hejaz, Arabia in 613/614 CE and got married and consumated with Mohammed who was 53 years old then in 620 CE. She was married to Mohammed for 12 years before he died in 632 CE. She was ready engaged to a pagan before his father Abubaker called off the engagement when he converted to Islam and gave her Muhammed her daughter. She also went to war. Dongreat: Which bible? Same that was written by different set comprising of the catholic and gnostic and not some holy filled long beaded men. Same bible that the verses were cherry picked to favor the priest who feed fat on the sufferings of the mass. Same bible used to perpetuate genocide by the crusaders and their sin absorbed just by the wave of hands by the bishop whom were notorious for hoarding the golds and fine jewelries after the loots.
Now I have a question and if anybody can fully answer I shall transfer 40k to your account and I am dead serious.
My question is in the bible, book of Genesis I think, it talked about Adam and Eve who bore only two sons named Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel and after he was cursed and he went out as a destitute, right? Then Cain went to the land of Nod and found a WOMAN and she bore him a son Enoch, right?
My question is if Adam and Eve the first and only people created by god only bore two sons then where did the WIFE of Cain at Nod came from?
Answer this question and I shall send to your account 40K. Impress me more and I swear with my dad grave to increase the reward to 100k. Lol, you don't know bible is full of inonsistencies. They would rather do follow follow than ask logical and critical questions and those that choose to ask are labelled satanic and devilish. Lol. |

And muslim as a religion supports the killer Fulani herdsmen in this country . Your type are the ones that cause unnecessary tensions which will consume us all. Muslim isn't a religion but Islam is, an attack occurred and you concluded Muslims are in support of it. Why aren't these attacks happening in South West? omoelerin1: The 2 major problems of Nigeria are religious and tribal sentiments, not our constitution or system of government adopted. That is why there will never be Justice, good governance, peace and stability. That is why criminals and corrupt politicians will keep leading us. That is why corruption will continue to thrive. That is why ignorance will keep thriving.
Sincerely speaking, once these two problems are solved, all our problems are solved Would it be solved? I doubt it, every Nairaland thread ends up in flames courtesy of religious and tribal differences. Tomorrow , we will unite again to support Nigeria alongside those that calls themselves Biafrans then we return to our status quo on Wednesday evening. Nigerians are extremely fooolish set of people. |

prince3009: If you have the money to buy a 4K UHD TV, then it means you can afford to buy an Xbox one...if you can afford the two, it means you have the money to afford unlimited internet to stream content on it like Netflix. If you are going for unlimited internet, don't patronize mobile networks like MTN, 9mobile, Ntel or even Spectranet etc.
Go to big internet companies like Cobranet who will give you true and ultrafast internet connectivity. Is cobranet still working, efficient and effective? |

Acidosis: An HD content on a Full HD TV can never be the same with an HD content on a 4K UD TV. That upscaling ability of 4K TV is enough to increase your TV budget. There is no crime in getting that extra quality. Even those in the advanced countries use 4K TVs to watch HD/SD contents.
What I think we should be discussing is why all Nigerian channels have refused to upgrade from SD. There are over 15 HD channels on DSTV (the MNETS, Supersport, Etc.) and I believe that with time, some upgrades would be made on a few channels.
Note to get those 15+ HD Channels, you have to cough out around 12k for monthly subscription. I believe those paying heavily for these TVs can afford the subscriptions and data. The emboldened is factual thing that should be discussed but only few people know the difference. |

oyb: your argument is invalid because it shoehorns all nigerians [yourself included] into the box of tech illiterates. i may as well ask i the author of the article uses the internet to a 30% level, since he could not be bothered to do a simple search on the actual features of 4k tvs
i have found that it is more a case of interest than anything else. i know enough 'tech illiterates' that can find their way around cars 45 and vehicle auction websites. the same way plenty of nigerians understand the use of whatsapp and other messaging apps. An average Nigerian won't be discussing tech back and forth like we have been doing. Am average Nigerian use his gadget a bland way. Buy a smartphone install social media and game apps and flex on. Buy a tv, plug his dstv to it and flex on. My point is, an average Nigerian wants to use the current tech or show off but not because of its functionalities. |

the only potential issue with 4k tvs is that most of them run propietary oses and not android. last i checked, only sony does android tvs. and those sony tvs cost an arm and a leg I asked a question but you didn't answer it, how many Nigerians use their smartphones completely or even to a 70% level? Recently I changed my phones theme and it's wallpaper changed, a pal said "Your phone looks pretty different, what did you do"? Yes, he uses a smartphone. |

This is from a sadistic angle. He didn't talk down people based on their choice. He only said the gospel truth which is expensive in Nigeria. The tips might be used by very few people who probably already know it and it's also costly because you have to sub for internet, sub for Netflix or Amazon prime etc, still sub for Dstv. oyb: typical olodo article of a roadside noisemaker empowered by cheap internet
first of all , 4k definition is ONLY one of the features of a 4k TV
all 4k tvs also include the following
internet ready bluetooth support casting support x265 support manufacturer appstore
previously, i needed a set top box to connect my tv to my home network. previously, none of my legacy lg tvs were able to play subtitles none of my legacy lg tvs were able to support more than one usb device per port none of my legacy lg tvs were able to play x265 videos previously i could not stream from my phone to my tv
but here we are with a neopythe on FP broadcasting the úselessness of 4k tvs in nigeria
he doesn't even know that 4k tvs will upscale images he dosent know you can download x265 4k videos he doesn''t know you can stream 4k videos on some youtube channels he doesn't know the smart tv supports dongles like ogitech keyboards and mice
you want a 4k tv for cheap - go for hisesne. fouani sells them now - so you know they will be repaired. they are now selling 65 inch for 300k
throughtout last year i was searching for a 65inch hisesne the usual greedy nigerian hustlers forming bizmen were claiming 500 -600k. i had to shelve it. Relax man. How many Nigerians know about all these things? Let's use smartphone as a case study, how many Nigerians use their smartphones completely? An average user would use it's social network functions, camera and life games like candy crush and subway surfers yet they spend a fortune buying these phones. The op is spot on |
