The OPCW last inspected the syrian arsenal in 2013. Inspections of such nature in a war torn country should be annually. The syrians have rejected calls for new chemical weapons inspection ever since d russians and iranians set foot on their soil.

Well, the proof is very clear. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has stated in 2013 that all of Syria's chemical weapons were received and destroyed.

So why should a country that has accepted destruction of it's chemical arsenal later decide to create new chemical weapons if it could've easily rejected the Russian-brokered proposal to destroy said chemical weapons arsenal?

I may agree to some extent with you about not vouching for military hardware that is not combat tested but if for anything, i would trust more Russian legendary weapons more than the U.S cos just by checking the number of wars and battles Russians have countered, something U.S could never ever survive.
