nothing really. thats d idea. if apple (and most phone manufacturers) have their way, they wont be releasing new model every year but to maintain their sales they have to. So u dont blame them if they release same thing and add one small extra feature for u. the idea is that many people using non- iphone X models will get tired of their phones within 2 years. so d new models are not really for iphone X users. its for people still using 6/7 and new iphone users who would like to join the apple class (if they can afford it). cos apple is expensive. very expensive.

back to d difference. btw iphone X and iphone XS=little or no difference (but iphone X has been discontinued). btw X and Xs-MAX= bigger screen and bigger battery. thats all. forget all those a12 bionic gimmicks. everyday users wont really notice all dat

You aren't entirely right. iPhone X series uses gestures, no home button, no headphone jack, no finger print scanner and min of 5.8 inches. These are things old iPhone users will find difficult to adapt to. Don't be surprised that the sales of iPhone 8 and 8 plus will increase.

It's obvious from your comment that you are extremely disappointed with this phones as a die hard Appple fan but the users know next to nothing about tech generally hence the reason Apple give them incremental updates whike caging them alongside

iPhone XS Max is a bumped up screen of iPhone XS which is literally iPhone X

On the Gmail iOS app, the Search, Archive, Delete, Unread, and Forward buttons are onlyaccessible...from the very top.

On iOS, the notification bar only opens from the very top. 

On the iOS Safari app, the double-tap gesture only works...from the very top.
