I have a theory that fund managers return way more than they report hence making more money for themselves.

Reason?

Ask why CSOF is consistently doing this numbers and Why new managers tend to always lead the table in their first year.
Like halo investment..case in point ..also new also trail blazing ..so theory is after they have accumulated subscribers ..rates start cooling off?

Yeah.... you don't do checks before investing?
Even on the app is tagged new but with all the years they been on the block ..didn't expect them to be that new to equity...now this explains their steller performance.

Q1 (January–March) is often the strongest window.
Q2 (April–June) can still be good due to dividend season.
Q3 (July–September) is typically quieter due to low trading volume and less catalyst news. You can accumulate undervalued stocks.
Q4 (October–December) is positioning season in anticipation of year end results.
Aptly put ..but still pray tell...which of these Q would be the best entry ...( most likely bearish )

I have never heard of them, they should create more awareness. Their current YTD is very good better than paramount and Zrosk. I don’t know anything about their track record, easy access to investing, or anyone in here investing with them.
Guess they are still green , so may be not even a 3 year track record, and your right they do need to start making a buzz

These are plenty questions in one though.

Okay, following my weekly calls and you buy in and hold for a duration of 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Then you make profit. What's the sign to pull out?

Once you see profit. Just quote my name here and ask if you can exit, I will gladly check for you.

And for the amount to start with; I reiterate, use little amount as 20k for a start to build confidence.
Expect more o, you not only gained a subscriber but an avid learner ..but will go and start watching your you tube videos first .
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by ollypass: 5:55pm On Apr 20
Beeron:
Just start with 20k atleast to get your feet wet.

After you make profit with small money, it will automatically build a confidence in you to go all in with bigger money.

It's step by step.

The reason is; if you go all in with bigger money at first and things don't go according to your expectation, you will quickly lose confidence but with small money, you can wait it out. That's why Equity mutual funds penalize people if they redeem too quickly.

Trading is psychology.
Ok ..but I was t talking about the long term investment....I know what am going in on that ..am.talking of your weekly calls ..what's the duration on average to ride the stock what's the sign to pull out ...what' amount should one stake ...relative to your succes rate on average?

Thanks for the subscription.

Please always take advantage of my stock recommendation weekly to make money, people do that recommendation thing for money, I choose to do it for free just so I encourage many people to participate more in the market, add more liquitity to the market so more money can be made.

Thanks once more.
Big heart ..rare breed .big up bro !...how much would you advise I start with with the weekly thingy?

I will treat both questions as one as my answer will address both.

ASI is at all time high, unless you are looking to swing trade short term for quick profit, it's really not a good idea to buy at all time high whether the stock is a value stock or not, it will seem like you catching a falling knife because when the bull run cools down to find new support. You will temporarily lose some money and have to wait for another bull run to recover from your initial loss before you begin to see profit.

Which leads me to the next answer, stocks falls and rise due to technical and fundamentals factors. We don't have to wait 2 quarters to predict this, that's why we track ASI weekly to know the mood of the market. The market mood can change quickly so if you looking to invest long term. Wait for this bull run to be over and take position in your choice of value stocks. Election or no election, the stock market will still behave in a zig zag pattern because that's how money is being made in the market.
Lover your take on this ..now if am not picking any individual stock..but want to invest into equity..say paramount ..how would you approach that

Oh understood, it becomes clearer that there is a lot of foreign cash headed towards the stock market as well as increased retail investment from Gen Z and millennials as it’s getting harder to run business and they are seeing where to invest.

I have two questions, are the current stock prices especially the high ones truly justified at the current values and secondly do you see a drop in stock prices especially the stocks with strong fundamentals in the next two quarters as we come up to elections? Thanks

This is directed at any other person that has input, I am expecting some funds from a sale of some items and wondering when to get into strong fundamental stocks for long term retirement sake looking at 10 years minimum. Note I am looking to get these value stocks at a good bargain or low equity price position.
This is similar to my current position ..but the more I observe the more I realise ..I could miss a good bull run in anticipation for Dangote I.P.O. while waiting for a retrace to enter at good price ...or hope my gains after the bull run won't wither out with the bear that will definately follow

Paramount is owned by Chapel Hill Denham

They both have physical offices
Thanks bro, does capital hill also own investnaija? was wondering why they aren't on a stand alone app of some sort ?
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by ollypass: 2:30pm On Apr 20
Beeron:
The way you will do it is simple.

You will buy multiple stocks (according to my recommendation) hold them till it prints money, then exit the market.

Note: Emphasis on "multiple stocks".

Let's assume, I give signal to buy Zenith and GTCO stocks, you will have to be patient within a duration of atleast 3 weeks to a month to get atleast 10 to 20% of your initial capital. So while your Equity mutual fund brings in 0-3%, you picking stocks yourself brings you 6 - 20%.

Yes equity is best suited for long term, your best approach for this will be trading individual stocks. Individual stocks have faster growth than equity. The two individual stocks I bought since January have almost done x2, that is what most equity will do till the end of the year. The only thing with individual stocks is u need to keep yourself updated if u are trading, unlike equity, u are more relaxed, because u have people trading on your behalf.
Thank you blue arrow for the guidance so for ..pray tell and teach what's the step by step method I can follow to invest in stocks directly with out a broker and be in charge of my entry and exit?

Small strategy to help you

The strategy is knowing when to go out and when to go back in. Although it comes with its risk, what of you were predicting a long streak of bear and its all bullish. Reentry would be more expensive

If you do your research well and calculations well. If for instance you have 500k units and price per 1 was 2N when you purchased compared to now at 5N. You can sell half if you seeing bears coming that would drop price to 3N or 4N and renter at a lower price

I hope you got the logic. Same strategy for personal share trading

Except if you are an investor. Just buy, top up and plan to leave it for 5 or 10 years
Thanks ..that's the catch going through a broker I can't trade actively ..but I was wondering is there a way to take profits now and then even if am not in direct control of the portfolio than just sit it out for say ...5 years ?

Thanks Man...kai this one na process o..no biometrics
bro wanna ask a newbie question ..coming from a crypto back ground I know to set stop losses and remove capital when I 2x to continue playing with house money... but in an equity fund , even if I want to invest say for 5 years ..when the portfolio reaches say 2x in a good stock market run in say 6 months ...how do you lock in that profit so when the market corrects you dont lose say 30 to 40% of your gains already since your using a third party and not directly controlling the trade? or since the goal is long term you just sit back and go with the ebb and flow for the next 5 years through bull and bear ?

You need to go to your bank and update your bvn phone number, it is very important.
Most investment app will require u to verify your bvn to proceed. If u have lost your sim linked to your bvn, u need to go to your bank before May 1st to update it. CBN is introducing tighter policy on bvn from May 1st. You can also try biometrics bvn verification on the app using your face if they have it as an option.
Thanks Man...kai this one na process o..no biometrics

Download the investnaija app from play store or apple store & create an account. It is a very simple process. Their address verification may take some days to verify.
The app only sends my BVN code to a line I have lost with out an option to my mail..so I can't get past my BVN verification for now
