TheSuperNerd:
There gotta be something about Michael Carrick. His time at Middlesborough reveals his coaching ability.

Beating Man City and Arsenal in back to back games is no small feat.
I think the players sacked Amorun shocked

Rightly said by Thierry Henry, the problem of the AFCON is that the referees are not up to the standard of the tournament, in short, the referees gave AFCON bad name

Kudos to the nigerian players and other African teams players who managed to sacrifice their holidays especially the christmas and new year with their families to give the world a scintillating footballing event
thank you for making it possible to watch good football at the expense of spending some time with your families and loved ones
wishing you guys an injury free rest of the season as you resume back at your various clubs
God bless you all

It worth noting and good to mention that the excellent conditions of the pitches made playing easier for our boys and many other teams
Morocco should be commended for providing conducive and excellent pitches of play

In contrast to what we have here, no wonder our boys struggle to play well at home
Imagine the amount of rain that fell across Morocco yet football playing was good but if we have such rains here it would been awful playing

9ja, we keep on deceiving ourselves yet we cannot boast of what Morocco presented to the world
SportsRe: Next AFCON: Super Eagles Players And Their Ages By 2028 by oloriooko(m): 3:15pm On Jan 18

SportsRe: Afcon 2025, Who Noticed This Guy by oloriooko(m):
He is the most IMPROVED player in the squad, he had a shaky start but built on it that at the semis he had become a rock unpassable
I never liked him at the start but by the semis he became my favourite

My own MVP of this tourney!

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by oloriooko(m): 5:56pm On Jan 17
how was that goal a foul?
Onu didn't throw his elbow rather the player ran into his elbow while trying to ready himself for a jump
i wonder how useful VAR is

Osayi to me is the most improved player in this squad and he deserves some accolades

CAF should have kuku given Maroc the trophy before starting the tourny, it's obvious everything is rigged to favour Maroc cuz they are hosting and probably have greased some palms
In another news, how can you name a Maroc ref for Nig vs Egp match shocked, wher are SA, Somalia refs?
CAF is so ruthless in corruption and inefficiency
SportsRe: Calvin Bassey Super Eagles Defender Is Trending Despite Nigeria Semi Final Lose by oloriooko(m): 12:59am On Jan 16

SportsRe: Nigeria's Loss To Morocco: How Would You Describe The Ghanian Referee? by oloriooko(m): 1:15am On Jan 15
When Nigeria cannot provide one singular ref to the biggest footballing event in Africa now you want to start blaming the Ghanaian ref
He did his best but for sure won't be good enough for us

Danielnino00:
Morocco have really crowded the midfield..

Perhaps it's time to revert to a formation that will give us advantages on the wing
I told one guy that's the plan to cut off Iwobi feeding our forwards he was arguing with me

which thing i say match to match, you dey dream?
so in your almighty wisdom, you think they will roll out red carpet for Iwobi to display?

Also, they will look for ways to make our guys get red carded, its part of their plan all through this tourney

Truidstarr:
U no dey tire? Same thing you say match by match...how Morocco wan stifle Iwobi? Abeg enlighten us.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by oloriooko(m): 7:13pm On Jan 13

I can't single out one player in Nigeria that put a foot wrong today
Everybody played for the team
SportsRe: AFCON: Algeria Fan Accuses Match Officials Of Bias In Favour Of Nigeria (Pics) by oloriooko(m): 9:19pm On Jan 10
His arm was in a natural position beside his body and the Algerian player targeted his hand not Ajayi moving his hand toward the direction of the balls flight
All the people saying officiating favoured us, if I may ask how? Were we given penalty or our opponent red carded?
That would have been a harsh penalty if given against us

Osimhen this, Osimhen that. How e be una for body now grin
What is wrong is always wrong but we still love him even though we spanked him for the unnecessary spat with Mola and his decision to start strolling on the pitch calling to be subbed

He redeemed himself massively today making us sparkle against our big foe
