Going by Nigerian standard and the backwardness in your own ipob states, he is performing, but going by Lagos standard, he is not performing.
This is about Lagos State, not about your ipob village
Is Tinubu the governor of Lagos State?
Is Tinubu the reason why nothing Lagos roads are bad?
Is Tinubu the reason why Ambode's N1 trillion budget cannot keep Lagos clean and also why Lagos is all of a sudden full of garbage?
Is Tinubu the reason why all his predecessor's projects are abandoned?
Is Tinubu the reason why Lagos metro is not completed,?
Is Tinubu the reason why 4th mainland bridge is still a dream?
You ipobs are so obsessed with Tinubu that the obvious deficiencies on the ground are invisible to you.
And you wonder why your villages are still in the Stone age and all your governors are still borehole and Keke ambulance governors. ranting kid..deo the daft one |

NdiaraIGBO: Whether Nigerians like it or not a lot of time is needed to turn things around. The people should have been more vigilant and speaking up during the boom GEJ time. But everybody was busy going to Dubai and London to waste and throw away the nation's survival capital. Option 2, we replace Buhari with another GEJ type and blow the money in reserves now, we 'll 'enjoy' for 5 years and suffer for the following 30 years. The choice is ours. We are 180m , we have to be productive. Importation is BAD BAD BAD!
Anything we cannot produce, we should not consume..,.,finish. That's basic economics.
On Osibanjo, the political reality is that VP is a powerless position and the North have consolidated their electoral power over Nigeria. Buhari is the realistically electable best we have at the minute. of course, a man that protects a criminal abba kyari is the best we have..no objective reasoning.. there's a reason they call people like you zombie.. |
Politics › Re: I'm British, Saraki's Wife Tells Seychelles' Investigators Probing Alleged Money by olril17(m): 7:19pm On Sep 09, 2018 |
HungerBAD: Smart thieves.
The Saraki's are smart, and I give it to them on their skills of dribbling through all the international financial loopholes they have used in plundering from the SGBN, to Kwara state, before eventually getting into the coffers of Nigeria via the Senate.
Saraki's wife's is just the front, and not the problem.
In politics, everybody is a thief. But like Jeffrey Archer said in his book " Honour Among Thieves" , there gets to a certain point in stealing in politics, that you have to start asking if the stealing has not become too much.
Herein lies my problem with the Saraki's.
Dr. Saraki is British by Birth, and a Nigerian by Nationality. The Billions the Saraki's have been looting since 1999 belongs to Nigeria, and not the United Kingdom.
To now start playing the " I am a British" card when confronted with core evidences of their stealing from Nigeria, smacks of people that wants to take us for granted.
This is it,and it has nothing to do with politics. The EFCC should start compiling all evidences they have against the Saraki's,and then share it with other graft agencies around the world, including the British money laundering agency, and even the FBI.
The EFCC should also follow the money trails in Nigeria, and if it leads directly to the wife. Then Mrs Saraki should be arrested, and made to explain how and where the Billions are from, because the Saraki's have turned looting Nigeria into a family affair. what do you have to say about abba kyari? |

Crude oil sold averagely for over $100 all through Jonathan's government and not a single kobo was added to the foreign reserve. Instead, what he inherited from Yat'adua were squandered. Buhari met the reserve at around $30billion and has build it up to over $45billion despite oil averaging at around $50 for the past three years but Buhari is the problem. OsasAca1: Let your imagination be deceiving you people there...
Not all that glitters is Gold...
You don't reinforce failure
Aregbesola is a failure big time...
I just graduated from OAU, no reforms at Ife just one Ugly--Looking Statue at Mayfair Junction...
They said he worked in Osogbo but for Ife Axis down to Ede/Ibadan he did nothing.
You can't be celebrating achievements of Primary and Secondary Education when the tertiary Education in state has been shut down over a year now
Aregbesola, main challenge Was The fact that he never understood the concept called PRUDENCE... He spent far beyond the state Capabilities and that has sank the State down... And could hardly complete any project.
There's a popular say now in Osun, that the debt Aregbesola has incurred would only be fully paid by the state by the Year 2050 thank you my brother, is this not madness, they will salute him for building of roads but will make all excuses for for not paying salaries and pensions. those people are called zombies for a reason. they will lie on internet about over bloated workforce yet they failed to see the problem is not that of workforce but that of a state in huge debt... a state entitled to just about 3 billion makes as monthly allocation yet use more than 2bn to service loans.. it's not statistics plucked out of the air, it's what is available on the internet. yet the governor who has not bought economic prosperity in eighth years looks well fed but his subjects must accept hunger, sickness and death as their own sacrifice.. how can a good human being owe people for 1 year and 7 months.. full salary faa, and some nonenity are still not seeing what is wrong in that because it's necessary sacrifice people have to make for now... one year 7 months.. some people goes to places of God to worship but they do not even fear God. |

Ovamboland: So this is the structure or system you're fighting to protect, a dead state that only comes alive when civil servants get their salary and this salary of less than 2% is what the remaining 98% wait for a whole 30 days before life resumes.
That is what you want to protect and handover to your children. Aregbesola is saying no, the rest of the state must be made productive by sacrificing something and give them the tools to and means to work. You cant remove a tumor by surgery without seeing blood and pain. You can either avoid the surgery and live with the tumor or truncate the ongoing surgery by bringing in unqualified fake surgeons. Effectively making the initial pains for nothing. absolute trash....it was the workers that said Aregbe should borrow huge loans which osun state is now servicing... the problem of osun state is not over bloated workforce but is that of a poor state paying for the poor decisions of the government...osun state use more than 2bn monthly to pay debts.. even if all the nonsense you say are true, so aregbe can not achieve anything without people having to suffer? is aregbe and his own family suffering? why then should the casualties be innocent workers and civil servants. u lack emphathy, I don't blame you, if it were to be another governor, u guys will jumping up and down and telling us why he must be voted out because he is useless for not paying salaries. lol, people should submit themselves and die needlessly because aregbe has built roads na, why can't they just die instead of complaining because you can't remove a tumor by surgery without blood... a governor and his family look well fed but citizens are 3rd class citizens not entitled to enjoyment of their own sweat, rather they should embrace hunger, sickness and death because at an uncertain day, all the governor's work which has not translated to any wealth in eighth years will suddenly bring wealth and they will be picking diamond on the streets. no wonder apc supporters are called zombies. |
Politics › Re: Why PDP Can't Win Osun Governorship Election. PICS. by olril17(m): 8:48pm On Sep 08, 2018 |
GavelSlam: Let's be honest, Aregbesola has done well.
Infrastructure is what leads to increase in commerce and with commerce stems creativity.
The move away from a bloated civil service should be encouraged and this salary debt should be seen as a blessing in disguise.
When the revenue stream by way of allocation was much more, the people enjoyed 13 months of salaries which implies the governor is pretty much welfarist but wouldn't compromise infrastructure for wages.
A look to our history would suggest very few governors have provided such dramatic infrastructural growth within the time frame.
History would be kind to Aregbe. I disagree with you vehemently... firstly you said infrastructures lead to commercial increase, alright, but why haven't we see such commercial increase in osun? why is the state dead economically after eight years of governance of aregbe? so do you mean people who are affected by everything should keep quiet and accept their fate because one day, a day that is actually uncertain they would enjoy the increaments such infrastructures will bring? you then talked about bloated civil service and how the non payment of salary is a blessing.. really? so people dieing of hunger daily should be seen as a blessing in disguise because at least the governor has provided infrastructures... even civil service should be moved away from, does that mean existing civil servants and pensioners should then be suffering? and again talking about infrastructures, maybe you are talking of a different osun state,or unless you mean only osogbo is in osun state.. I don't expect different because you are an Apc supporter,it seems apc governors are judged from different contexts from their contemporaries...giving it was you apc that was also attacking fayose of ekiti for the same non payment of salary... the fact that you support apc does not mean you should throw away your sense of humanity... but I don't blame you, if you have lost a sick relative whose death occur as a result of not being able to afford medical treatments because of this salary issue or pensioners who are dieing slowly because they need drugs to stay alive maybe your tone will be different. you might think it's an exaggeration, but that's the reality of today in osun state.. so indeed history will be kind to aregbe who leave huge debts and pay half salaries because building of roads is the only function of a government. |

shosky1794: Well since you have lived in Osun for a long time, compare his performance to the performance of the governors before him, Akande and Oyinlola. I have my reservations regarding this issue of non-payment of salaries but I will leave that discussions till after the election no matter who's voted in. Let's just keep being civil and objective in our discussions here. We don't need to abuse one another to make our point. God bless you bro. God bless you too.. |
Politics › Re: Why PDP Can't Win Osun Governorship Election. PICS. by olril17(m): 7:04pm On Sep 08, 2018 |
shosky1794: On a particular thread, you said in Ogun State and that the person quoted was wrong even when the guy was saying the truth. Just like I said on that thread performance is relative. You have to compare the performance of a governor or a party to the previous one. Another angle is to compare the performance of a governor to other governors in the the country. Most of the people supporting the PDP candiate here are from the Eastern part of the country. Why don't they compare the performance of Aregbe to governors from the East who spent 8 years. Abia, Ebonyi(before Umahi), Imo. Also compare the performance of Aregbe to the governors before him in the state, Akande, Oyinlola(who spent 5-6yrs). We all went to school so let's argue with facts, figures like we were taught. Please try and be civil when making your points next time. Thanks thanks, alright.. I'm usually civil but you know u should not keep quiet when people gang up to bully you online because you don't agree with them. secondly I'm not a pdp supporter, not that I'm afraid to admit that, infact in this election I'm actually indifferent, because a new shiny governor does not mean everything will suddenly change in the twinkle of an eye.. but to be honest, I secretly wish omisore should win.. and thirdly, I can only speak on what I know and what Im witnessing,so it is irrelevant to be comparing aregbe to other governors ( in the east) He did well in osogbo, that is undeniable, but when you see propagandist regurgitating nonsense that he built all those roads you see online all over osun state, and you know it's nothing but a lie, you have to talk out. you only need to take a major tour all around osun towns, and your eyes will quickly open. However if you read my posts very well, roads or not, or other things are not why I'm against aregbe. I'm against him because of salaries and pensions... he used Jonathan as an excuse first, then he said if Buhari wins, that will be a thing of the past. then Buhari won, and the situation got worse, despite collecting more than one bailout funds which the Fg said categorically it should be used to pay salaries and pensions. All the pensioners that retired during Aregbe's regime have not collected gratuity, talk less of being paid their normal monthly stipends...civil servants are owed a year and 7 months salary and with election a few days away, he is definitely not gonna pay up... thats the highest height of wickedness, I refused to follow a politician dogmentically, I'm a commoner and my sympathy lies with fellow commoners... you will see apc goons uploading roads and schools, but non payment of salary and pensions does not matter to them. |
