"Must have concluded the 1st year of their study
in any of the PTDF upgraded Federal Universities
listed above"

They will fix it. The same thing happened sometime last week. They promised their engineers will fix it and kept to their word.

No, the application was smooth in my time. Fewer people had access to the internet (lol), so it wasn't always snarled up unlike now.

You mean Total/Elf scholarship? I was on it from 200 Level till I graduated. (@ N150,000 per annum).

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is a parastatal of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources established by Decree 25 of 1973 for the purpose of developing and promoting petroleum technology and for creating the manpower needs of the oil and gas industry through research and training of Nigerians.
Its mission therefore is to train Nigerians to qualify as graduates, professionals, technicians and craftsmen in the field of engineering, geology, science and management in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria or abroad.
To ensure a steadfast implementation of this mandate, PTDF is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for Overseas MSc and PhD Scholarships.
Scholarships will be awarded for studies in the 2013/2014 academic session in the United Kingdom and France (Grenoble INP) and upgraded Universities in Nigeria for the 2013/2014 session.
However, the Undergraduate level will be awarded for studies in Nigeria only on listed subject areas.


PLEASE NOTE:: The 2013/2014 scheme has now been combined with the 2014/2015 awards.

Mainly Aptitude and Quantitative test questions (involving word problems, diagrams and analytical reasoning), with Current Affairs. You may as well practise some general English (comprehension, lexis/structures, synonyms/antonyms).
GMAT prep materials will be of help.
I just hope they havn't changed the format so much than when I wrote mine some years ago.

We totally dissociate ourselves from National youth empowerment scholarship as we are not sure if its genuine.
But as for this (Federal Govt. Nigerian awards), people have been successfully applying.

Am currently a student of oau and my 2nd cmesta result is yet 2 b out.

If you are currently in 100L, use your 1st semester GPA. But if not, use your previous session CGPA.
