While the Lagos/Calabar coastal road would be an interesting sight, I have many problems with it:

1) The government should first tidy up federal roads and make them drivable and safe. I've been to many parts of this country, and our federal roads are a deathtrap. Roads should be easily drivable, without senseless potholes.

2) Will this road be completed on time? I have a strong feeling that this road will eventually be a white elephant project that won't be completed in the next 10 years. Investing billions on a long stretch of road while the existing ones are an eyesore is ridiculous to me.

3) Why wasn't this project bid for? Why was it awarded without other construction companies submitting their bid? Sounds very tyrannical and impulsive. For a project this large, and this expensive, there should have been a fair bidding process.

4) Why are we spending so so so much on a road, when we have other more pressing issues? An estimated cost of more than 3tr is to be spent on this road. Why? Why not spend same money on kickstarting 24/7 electricity? Why not invest it in interstate security, so that kidnapping would be a thing of the past? Why not spread the money across other more important projects?

So many questions, so little answers. I have many reservations.

The tribunal lived up to the fact that the judiciary in Nigeria is always up for sale! How can you ask a petitioner to call witnesses in all the disputed polling units - over 700 - when the electoral act states that documented evidence is enough evidence to prove non compliance with the electoral act? We hope the Appeal and Supreme Court will redeem the image of the judiciary!

Oga, you don't know what you are saying. You PDP keep doing the wrong thing expecting different results. What the tribunal decided is based on supreme court rulings. You must call witnesses to speak to documents or evidence tendered in court. It is a settled law that you cannot interpret documents you didn't make. To prove overvoting, you need Bvas itself plus inec register and only inec are the ones that can be called which you failed to.
The supreme court has rubbished irev results and you are still depending on irev instead of your own agents copies? Can you see the nonsense.
You cannot bring a machine like bvas and dump it at the court without operating it and showing it to the tribunal how it affected the results. So you where expecting the judges to operate bvas and start searching for evidences for you? Better go and rest

I hope you are not a lawyer? Your post is wilfully ignorant. The polling unit agent is the primary witness who can attest to over voting. The BVAS accreditation figures must be compared with the authenticated result tendered by the polling unit agent before over voting cab be established. During the Osun tribunal case that PDP won, I am sure the judiciary wasn't compromised then abi.

The tribunal held that the People’s Democratic Party failed to call witnesses to prove its case of overvoting

The PDP failed to call polling unit agents from all the polling units where they had alleged electoral irregularities.

The tribunal added that out of the 19 witnesses called by the petitioners 14 of them were ward and local government agents and the star witness who claimed to be a director of strategy for the PDP played no role in the conduct of the election.

It also added that the BVAS tendered by the petitioners were dumped on the tribunal.[b][/b]

Just look at the above, after someone will come and claim Judiciary is compromised. How can you claim overvoting and yet cannot call your party agents at the affected polling units to come and defend your allegations.

Same way Elupee 72 wanted to do Gbajue for us in the 2023 presidential elections.
