I honestly didn’t expect this post to get this much attention, but wow... Over 7,000 people have viewed it in less than two days. That tells me one thing — many Nigerians are seriously looking for correct info on how to legally process the tinted glass permit without wahala.

Now, based on the questions I’ve received (over 50+ messages and counting), I want to clear a few things for everyone following:

✔️ Yes — the Police Tinted Permit is still active and free to apply for online.
✔️ Yes — you can apply yourself, but there are some technical steps that usually confuse people (especially the medical report part, document upload, and appointment issues).
✔️ No — you don't need a “connection” if you follow the proper process, but you do need to be careful not to make mistakes that delay approval or trigger rejection.

Can a Medical certificate from a private clinic work or must be a government Hospital.

What to prepare before applying
• Your NIN
• Car particulars (valid and matching)
• A medical or security-related reason for needing tint — especially in Lagos
• A scan of your driver’s license
• Your medical report (not just anything written, a proper one o)

Once you gather these, you can start the process from the police portal. If done right, you’ll get your Application Code and move through the approval stages. Some people even get the full permit within 3 to 7 working days.

Again, I’m not here to “sell” anything — just to guide and share what I’ve already tried myself and helped others with.

What the judge clearly said is that the suspension was excessive. She then advised the senate to utilize their own powers to review and amend the provisions of their own rules which she considered excessive and overreaching.

She finally said she believed the senate has the power to recall the plaintiff, and she believes they should do so. Please where is the specific order there? Let us express it commonsensically: "I believe Peter Obi has the power to amend his position from 2023. For balance, I am of the opinion that Peter Obi should amend his stand and deputize Atiku so that their merger will be optimum". Please is that an order binding on Peter Obi or a friendly advise that Peter Obi is not liable to take?

Stop being confused and uninformed. It is okay if you don't know much about legal proceedings, just ask about what you don't understand so it can be explained to you.

The judgement is out already.

The judge must have read the judgement out to everyone listening in the court on that day.

Upon the final judgement, both parties lawyers can request for the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the judgement, by applying to court to print and issue the CTC copy to them, for them to study and understand the extent of the judgement and determine if an appeal is needed or accept the judgement.

The unsatisfied party has 3 months to appeal the judgement after which the judgement becomes binding on both parties.

Point of information: the judgement is pronounced and out already. It is the CTC that the parties involved can apply for subsequently.

In my opinion, the court didn't opine that she can't be punished. The court expressly recognized the powers of the Senate to punish disorderly senators.

The Senate will not reduce or terminate the suspension.

I can bet that the Senate will file an appeal. The Senate will:

1. First refuse her entry into the chamber or resumption in office.
2. Take almost 3 months to study the judgement.
3. Appeal the Judgement in a court of appeal, if need be, or assume there was no binding order of the court on the Senate to terminate the suspension.

This case may run till the end of Natasha's tenure as a senator of the FRN.
