You are very correct. For any success to be recorded ,Yoruba nation must be a secular state. The day they allow a religious edict would be the downfall of such .I have christians and Muslims in my family ,I can not envision enacting a law based on muslim basis or Christian one. Smh. With the way extremist yoruba Christians and Muslims are posturing already, seems the future of a united yoruba country may not be so bright afterall. It is as if they have submitted their brains to the alter of religious dogmatism and extremism. I am a Yoruba Christian man successfully married to a Yoruba Muslim woman for over 20yrs and blessed with 4 beautiful children without any issues whatsoever. But the crop of yoruba extremists from both religions are making me question the future harmony of the race, be it within Nigeria or as an independent country. I have noticed that ipobs on this forum are very delusional and stupid. In their fish minds, they have this assumption that they can use their anti-Yoruba Muslim rhetoric to trigger a sort of civil war between Christians and Muslims in yorubaland, that way they can then form a political alliance with the Christian Yorubas or create a banana Republic that would comprise ibo and yoruba Christians. In their crazy minds, Yorubas should either kill-off or banish all yoruba Muslims in the SW to make way for ibo Christians to take their place, on the basis of religion. Isn't that the stupidest logic ever?

That's their main objective when they keep trying to use religion to instigate dissatisfaction between Christians and Muslims in yorubaland. But their agenda is dead-on-arrival because even ibos themselves have mountain of issues they are yet to deal with amongst themselves. They should go and sort their Osu caste wahala, Anglican vs. Catholic wahala, female inheritance wahala, 'Ebonyi are inferior ibos' wahala, ibo denial wahala, amongst other countless wahala they are grappling with internally, and leave yoruba people alone!

Op, did the gods curse ibo people against building their own version of Eko Atlantic in iboland?? When will ibos start to receive sense? Is it a crime for iboland to have its own version of Eko Atlantic? Have a bit of pride in your own land for a change. Smh.
