Romance / Re: Between Generator Set And Solar Which Is Better by oluseg2: 9:18am On Oct 15, 2021
zexy2030:
As an expert in this field, a very good solar system with 120k won't serve you well and long. Though very economical and environmental friendly but the longevity has been the challenge.

The loads in your apartment will determine what amount of power you would need independently to generate.

If you want 2fans, 2tvs and all your lights working

Inverter very good 3-5kva will cost about 70k

Battery :very good one is going for 160k( it will last 5yrs before you change it). If your appliances are many you may need two(2), if not 1 battery is OK, with 3kva inverter.

The panel, it depends on the wattage: 300w cost 30-40 k you will need 2.

Charge controller- 18k

Battery charger- 15k

Battery rack - 8k
Sum all and you will know how long you can use it.

This will save cost of buying fuel for a long period like say 5yrs, its worth the investment

Except you don't mind to save

The batteries don't usually last more than 1 year to be sincere

Solar isn't reliable . Solar is just a backup power,it can't serve you consistently

Exactly. And you won't be able to power some appliances expecially those with heating elements.
Moreover, you might need to replace the battery after 1 year based on experience.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: With 13 Years Experience, Will You Accept An N85,000 Job Offer? by oluseg2: 3:11pm On Jul 25, 2021
Belafonte:
If after 13 years, you have not been able to increase your skill level to a point where employers would be scared of offering you 85k, then that's what you deserve.

Everyday you go to work, you must actively develop yourself to be worth what you want to earn from life.

Nobody pays you for time, they pay for your value. If you are worth 850k to them they'll pay you 850k. That is the reality. If you believe you are undervalued where you are, then prove it by offering your service and skills to other employers and see if they jump at your offer or not.

You don't determine your value, the market does.

It's easier said.
Romance / Re: How Long Does It Take To Withdraw From A Pension Retirement Savings Account by oluseg2: 7:44am On Nov 07, 2020
I know of someone who got 25% even before clocking 40 years of age.
That was from IBTC Pension.

Axzobr:
Good morning,
The subject refers.
Please I have a relative that's age 51 and he's been trying to process getting the fund from his pension account (trust fund) since July this year.

He's left active duties since he resigned from his place of work 2011.
He has submitted all necessary documentations requested.
He was told he can only get 25 percent at first till he clocks 55
But the unfortunate thing now is that the PFA keep dragging this withdrawal; they said they are waiting for response from Abuja.

I don't know if this is the way it works

If it is not. What steps can be taken to escalate this to the appropriate authorities.

Why don't you watch the video to see how many people were there? There were over fifty people in there, with no observation of social distancing.

You people are passing the same message.

January to December makes a year.

And not January to January!

January 1st to December 31st makes 365 days
January 1st to January 1st makes 366 days

What we are saying is that the Land lady wants to short change the OP by 30 days. This is not right.
