@ all please I checked on NIMC site but to realise my status is @ Examination stages and I can see some people had gone for interview and even traning. Does that mean I did not pass the test? I applied for Admin/HR Officer(Snr.Officer).

Any time your Multiv Tv went off, just shutdown ur receiver or better still switch to other sat and go back to it later it will come up..
It seems there are passing through a kind of Network difficulties..

But as a hint, make amos 5 ur primary with 11881 v 27500. Fine tune well and blindscan.

Then add 28.2'e lnb on top with 12523 v 19531.

Then add 36'e yet on top of 28.2'e with 11900 h 27500. Blindscan.

House pls oh, i noticed that my multi tv will not work if i connect it to a connector connecting two dishes together but it works separately.
Again when i try to track a cert with my receiver i notice that my receiver do slow down (if i hit green and try to lock all i noticed was that it will just remain on the same signal strength for like a minute, so i found it difficult to track any sat even the cheapest MY TV.. pls i need help.

afrokid: I don't think it has anything to do with MTN, if not why did the 1st message enter? I called their 3 lines and all were said to be switched off. Here are the numbers anyway: 018438823, 018438824, 07098038255.

I do not believe this msgs is coming from NIMC cos their site still remain on the platform used to notified those that missed the text and even the last time i call the customer care the person who picked one of the number was talking lite a local person..

Like i said, if u have an android phone, the hot spot feature should serve u well. Or download the joiku spot premium on ur symbian device and same should apply.

Though

1, u should subscribe to a data bundle.

2, plugging the wifi dongle to the receiver should power it up and enable ur android device or the joiku spot application to see the receiver and pair same.

3, the relevant receiver patch should be loaded to the receiver.

Setoop: some channel are free on infinity tv eg 9ja tv but what i discover is that infinity tv channels can only show on HD box , when i use str 4922 it show but didnt show on 4669z despite the fact that i have high signal quality

I think this can work best with HD lnb too..

simniboma: these gadget can work but the fact is rx like the 4922 series that i use have no wireless hardware component, I am not sure of the 4930L. this implies that you must get a hardware gadget that will enable the rx to identify the wireless signal with the aid of the wireless software included in its setup. this is where the wireless dongle comes in. it serves as a wireless hardware for the rx to enable it pick up the wireless signals. with the tp-link i am hope it has the rj45 port if so why dont you use it for convinience sake. in electronics nothing is impossible may be other members may have some more experience to share. keep trying and you shall be there. thanks

But i have already, a Wi-Fi- usb dongle i bought for #3,200. from Strong-Tech. So all i need now is either
a router or a wireless internet device to connect my reciever.

simniboma: I have not used the 4930l. what is obvious is that the software of your rx should support Wi Fi. secondly there should be wireless internet signals facility available in your locality. connect the dongle properly to the rx. when the signal are identified you will be connected that is if the wireless facility is unprotected. but if it is protectd you need to configure your rx to conform with the security of the wireless internet facility. hope this will help.

with 3g and 4g compatible ( u can connect your internet modem to it to feed your devices) can that work?

simniboma: Are you sure it is your internet that is interfering with your Multi tv signal. I have my broad band mordem direct above my rx. it is a landline mordem that has wifi. I browse and watch tv all the time without any inteferance here in ghana. Or is it that the frequency of your internet in your countery is closer to what multi tv is using? check from other members from ghana and compare to members from your side perhaps it may lead to a solution
