Mavella: i try to track this frequency (12562 H 30000) on eutelsat 16A for 2 days but i only get channel on amos 5 on 17e acording to sub african beam i think i was out of footprint any advance please

olenyi: More like 1m or 1.2m. Someone did the conversion here like last year with a 2.4m hooked to nilesat. Finding the link might be too much for me now. But like @d.lee said, face it to w4/w7, replace the present lnb with our normal one, and see wat happens. Though this will likely call for some improvising. Cheers.

olenyi: Try this tp 11024 h 03333. First track multi tv with this 12552 v 19531. Fine tune the signal to the best % u can get, then input 11024 h 03333 and standing at the back of the dish, raise it up and a little to the right. U should hit jackpot. Then blind scan.

Onlinemedia: A man who had gone for an all-night prayer got the shock of his life when he caught his 'faithful' wife pants down with a neighbour on his bed at their matrimonial home. The incident is said to have happened at around 3am.

“The two lovebirds’ timing was wrong as Maskiri decided to return earlier than expected and he caught them in the act. He then alerted some neighbours who proceeded to report the matter to the police,” said a witness.

A source said the husband, only identified as Maskiri, returned home from prayers earlier than the usual time and this helped him to catch his unfaithful wife, Fungai Sibanda, having sex with their neighbour, identified as Tinashe Mutuwari.

When Maskiri was contacted for comment, he opened up saying he was still in dilemma of what had driven his wife to do such an embarrassing thing.

“I had gone for an all-night prayer and my wife had remained at home. At around 3am, I decided to go home as I was feeling sleepy. When I got home, I got the shock of my life as I found my wife sleeping with Tinashe on our bed. I became weak and could not do or say anything to the two. I quietly walked out and informed some neighbours,” said Maskiri.

He revealed that he suspected it was not the first time Tinashe had spend the night at his home as he regularly went for all-night prayers leaving his wife at home.

To the surprise of many, the wife got a restraining order from a local court against her husband. “Surprisingly, Fungai rushed to seek a peace order against me saying I was troubling her and she won the case,” the husband added.

olenyi: Sorry bro for taking long. As of now, u can't track another sat with mytv at the same time. Some time ago when intelsat 17 started transmission, FTA enthusiasts were overjoyed because u could easily pull down both intelsat 7/10 and 17 at the same time. We even got to watch e.tv after so long and many other superb channels then that some peeps here claimed they were spoiled for choice and couldn't sleep at night because of the awesome channel line up. But the euphoria soon fizzled away as the channels all went off leaving only unisa channel. So for now, no show. Cheers.

olenyi: CPC CANVERSES FOR PAY-AS-YOU-GO PACKAGE FOR DSTV

As part of efforts at assuaging aggrieved consumers of Digital Satellite Television (DSTV), the Consumer Protection Council (CPC)has advised Multichoice Nigeria Limited, the owners of the cable television to introduce pay-as-you-go subscription for its subscribers.
CPC, at a recent meeting with top managers of DSTV, said the time was ripe for the introduction of the pay-as-you-go subscription in the interest of millions of subscribers of the satellite television.
The agency sought to know the reason why this form of subscription could not be introduced in Nigeria as it has been done in other climes for the economic well-being of consumers.
According to the Council, the pay-as-you-go subscription would allow consumers get value for their money, give them an option ofchoice as well as enable them control their consumption.
Besides the suggested introduction of the pay-as-you-go subscription, the Council also canvassed for some form of compensation to subscribers for loss of transmission signals, usually experienced by them during adverse weather conditions, particularly rainy season,known as “rain fade”.
Other issues discussed at the meeting included proper and adequate supervision of DSTV dealers and agents and seeming delay in resolution of consumer complaints by the company.
Responding, the delegation from Multichoice Nigeria Limited disclosed that the firm did not have the platforms to implement pay-as-you-go system of payment but promised to look into it.
The delegation explained further that Multichoice is an access-to-content selling company and could not determine what it could purchase or sell to the smallest unit which would allow a pay-as-you-go paymentsystem to function.
On the issue of compensation for down-timesfor signals, Multichoice explained that loss of signals during the rainy period is a natural occurrence, which could hardly be curtailed, promising, however, to look into the Council’sposition that some form of compensation should be given to subscribers for this occurrence pending the development of a new technology that may solve the problem.
The company pointed out that it has always been committed to speedy resolution of consumer complaints, stating that there may, however, be slight delay in resolution if the problems were technical in nature.
While giving Multichoice the opportunity to further deliberate on the issues discussed at its management level, the Council was insistent that the Nigerian consumers must be given choices and options available in other countries and mandated the company to look into the above issues with despatch.

olenyi: Get an extra dish and track RDV @16' east (60 cm dish) or mbc 3 @7' east (90 cm dish)

pofolo: the best set up on 60cm dish for now is w3c on 16east 11804 v/h 30000, where we have rts1, rdv, drtv, crtv, lcf, tenerife, stv2, canal 2 etc all on one sat.
for 90cm, w4 36east( dstv )12245 v/h 27500 or 12437 v/h 23437 and multi tv on 28.2east 12552 v/h 19551 on a single dish will do a great magic.
for tuesdays champions league, etv hyde pack on sirius4 on 4.8east does the magic, get 90cm dish, track with 12605 h 29950 to over 80% signal strenght, then blindscan or manually input 12740 v/h 04430.
w3a aka madagascar is on 7east with mbc1-3 with 11192 v/h 03310..

The tracking frequencies are: 10992V27500, 12206V27500, and 11938V27500. Track using the first one, then start adjusting to get higher signal on 11938V27500 for your MBC channels.
