@Opeyemi, u can check my past posts 4d fufu campus gist, maybe page 2 or 3, when u evn get 2d village, u'l be beggin Unilorin 4hostel unless u'r interested in mud houses accomodation, its only 4 sum months and nt evn up 2a year so jst take it like dat, I had d plan of rentin apartment b4 bt wen i saw d distance, bad road + no cab, i knew it won't b easy 2transport my bed n other heavy loads i'll need in my apartment and since d schl has provided hostels wt bed,electricity, water,security,etc i jst changd my mind,
Lemmie' advice u all, immediately u see ur names in d list, jst print it and start booking for hostels o b4 it get congested!

i got mine 4 #2000 in my local govt. Jst tel dem attestation(certificate of origin), remember 2go wt ur passport and it must be signed by ur chairman and secretary.

@Abiodun, i just got back 4rm d schl, the list isn't out in schl, in fact, sum rems applicants are still submittin their credentials to pple who wanna assist dem 4 their names 2b on d list.
@Bammy, i dnt post what i'm nt sure about on this thread in order nt 2negatively affect pple's lives, i lost my L.Govt form 2robbers on my way 2Ekiti state 2get it signed by my L.G chairman, d form ws in my bag wt my laptop and other docs and they took everythn away, so wen i came 2ilorin, i requestd 4anoda 1 in d admissions office and i ws told dat since i'm nt an indigine of Ilorin or catchment area, that it's nt compulsory.

Hey Chris, dnt u cry no more cos ALL WILL BE WELL! okay? The local govt form should be signed/endorsed by ur own state local govt chairman if u'r nt an indigene of Ilorin,
To all that couldn't print/get d indigene form, it's only compulsory for indigenes oF Kwara state and d catchment areas, if u dnt av d form and u'r nt an indigene of Kwara, jst try n go 2ur local govt 4 ur attestation(certificate of origin) and unilorin will accept it.
I confirmed this 4rm d admissions office.

Hope u guys know dat ds session remedial lectures will be in d new rems main campus(Unilorin school of preliminary studies) at Fufu after Idofian in d outskirts of Ilorin, It's too far even 4rm Ilorin.
My frnd told mi bt i tot he ws joking bt when we went there 2geda last wkend, i know say khaki no be leather.lol.
Unilorin has built d campus bt in a village called Fufu, no single cab or bus, 30mins ride 4rm Idofian on bike &i jst dey quote psalms cos my legs were shaking due 2d long journey&bad road, no bank or Atm, untarred road infact na worst village because the pple wer jst staring@ us 4rm their mud houses as if we'r Obama &Goodluck , bt d campus is okay even if they'r yet to complete some buildings there, they'v built many hostels, in fact i saw bunks(beds) n pillows in d hostels,also lecture rooms, staff &admin offices hav bn completed,sound electricity& comm network is available, d security guards even told us dt it hs bn oficially opend by Saraki, just go n see 4 urselves bt go wt enough money cos bike fare is 300 per person or else u'l treck back 4 almost 3hrs, I'M SERIOUS O![color=#000099][/color]

Pls i jst checked d University web &saw d remedial/pre degree advert, bt i'm confused 'bout d eligibility, it's 4those within d catchment areas like indigenes of kwara,kebbi,kogi &other hausa states. Pls does this mean i won't be given admission if i go 4d programme even if i'm not an indigene of the above states?

INFORMATION ON 2009 POST UME SCREENING EXERCISE



SECTION A - Screening Procedure



i) You are required to complete the Application Form online if the form displayed contains your correct information. If not, then call the hot lines with your complaints. The Digital Passport Photograph supplied for your UME Registration will be displayed upon submission of your form. Where this is not available or not your correct photograph, call the hot lines for assistance in activating the system to accept your correct Digital Passport Photograph which must be the one used in UME . Please note that any picture size greater than 30 KB will be rejected.



ii) You are required to print three copies of the correct Application Form. Ensure that it contains your FORM NO, NAMES, SCREENING CENTRE and PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH before you print. The three copies will be used as follows:



Ø Bring 1st copy to your Screening Centre

Ø If you are finally admitted, bring the 2nd copy for Registration on resumption

Ø Keep the 3rd copy for your own record.



iii) The DATE for the SCREENING EXERCISE is Saturday, 4th July, 2009. Candidates are expected to seated latest by 12 noon. Please bring the following to your Screening Centre:


· 1 Copy of your Application Form (as stated in [ii] above)

· HB pencil.



iv) REGISTRATION CLOSES ON SUNDAY, JUNE 28, 2009.



v) The branches of the Banks to obtain your Scratchcard for Registraion are listed in SECTION B below. The Scratchcard for checking your performance and admission status online will be available shortly after the screening exercise on July 4, 2009 in banks at Ile-Ife.
