Keep the dream alive, its a matter of patience and positive thinking. Submittted my file to CIC, awaiting AOR then we c wat next and that should be medicals.

@Olusepe thanks for the quick response, Family Stream is called (FS) ryt while normal friend ties is called General Stream (GS) I heard dat they don't give preference to the FS over the GS anymore.. How thru is dis?

Does the fact dat he's a Citizen give me an upper edge or it wuld be categorized d same way it is for a normal PR?

Fs is family stream, what am aware of is Fs is much faster in terms of processing time than Gs,
Strong ties to province you are applying for is what matters

I studied computer engineering, applied under family stream and most of all commited it to God.

I av to apply to CIC for a permanent resident visa as a manitoba nominee. Its there they would transfer my file to my visa office after paying all relevant fees before expiry date in november

Fs takes 4 - 6months Gs 6- 12 months @ the moment i gathered they are treating files of those who submitted nov. So we that submitted jan shld expect reply may/june barring unforseen circimstance.
