Though, we want a child that will keep bearing the father's name, but have we thought about the people that has been looking upto God for the fruit of the womb, that don't even care for any gender, and we have a child to call our own, but still not satisfied, if we get boys, we want girl, if we born girls, we want a boy, what if that only male child gives birth to girls only (you will get another wife for him to bear him sons or what?), my grandma had only my mom, my mom does not even rem her grandparents or ancestors, but has 3boys and m the only girl, I know of a couple had only a daughter, dey really spoilt the girl and in the end, the girl died in an accident(their only child). Well, I don't really think gender should matter, God should give us children that will always make us proud, and take care of us in the end...

OP, you already said this lady has once cheated on you in one of your previous posts, and she even said it to your face with no remorse... You should know already that she's cheating, doing those things...
