Politics / Only Labour Party Contests Every State Election Results That They Loose by Oluwatoyink(m): 12:15am On Mar 21, 2023
I have noticed that while other parties know their strong holds and when to contest electoral results, The labour party are claiming to have a 'wide spread' in every part of the country , that has yet to be seen on the ballot paper.

Are the labour party really been rigged out all the time ?

Are their claims valid ?

Politics / Presidential Election: Accept Tinubu Used You To Win - Atiku's Ally Tells Peter by Oluwatoyink(m): 11:47pm On Mar 16, 2023
The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been urged to accept that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu used him to emerge victorious in the just-concluded presidential election.

Reno Omokri, an ally of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, made the remark while noting that Obi was delusional to think he won the 2015 presidential election.

In a tweet, Omokri wrote on Wednesday: “What kind of delusion is making Peter Obi, who couldn’t win 25% of the votes outside SE and SS and NC states with a sizeable Igbo population and Lagos, claim he won #NigerianElections2023? My friend, accept that Tinubu used *** ***** to play you. Lick your wounds!

“2 days ago Labour suspended Basambo Abubakar, its Kwara guber candidate, for anti-party activities. Yesterday, Peter Obi asked Obidients to vote for PDP’s C River guber candidate, Sandy Onor. Will Labour also suspend him or are there different rules for different folks?”

The LP flag bearer came third in the presidential election after Atiku and the eventual winner, Tinubu.

Despite his loss, Obi had maintained that he won the poll and would contest the outcome of the election in court.

To this end, the former Anambra State Governor had constituted a body of lawyers to push his case at the Presidential Election Tribunal.

Politics / Tinubu Speaks On His Cabinet - Daily Trust by Oluwatoyink(m): 11:41pm On Mar 16, 2023
President-elect Bola Tinubu has reacted to reports that he is considering Government of National Unity, saying “my aim is higher than that”.

The President-elect said this via a statement he personally issued on Thursday.

Tinubu, who described himself as the servant of a larger purpose, said his team and himself have been daily engaged in discussions and meetings refining solutions so that his administration could begin actively working toward the common good the first day he assumes office.

He said: As your incoming president, I accept the task before me. There has been talk of a government of national unity. My aim is higher than that. I seek a government of national competence. In selecting my government, I shall not be weighed down by considerations extraneous to ability and performance. The day for political gamesmanship is long gone.

“I shall assemble competent men and women and young people from across Nigeria to build a safer, more prosperous, and just Nigeria. There shall be young people. Women shall be prominent. Whether your faith leads you to pray in a church or mosque will not determine your place in government. Character and competence will.

“To secure our nation and to make it prosperous must be our top priorities. We cannot sacrifice these goals to political expediencies. The whims of politics must take a backseat to the imperatives of governance.

“We have bridges and roads to build not just for commerce and travel but to connect people of different faiths, parties, and different outlooks in harmonious dialogue and common purpose.

“We have families to feed not just to eliminate hunger but to nurture enlightenment, civic responsibility, and compassion.

“We have jobs to create not merely to put people to work but to afford all a better standard of living by which families and communities are improved and democracy deepened.

“We have water to replenish not just to quench physical thirst but to ignite a thirst for creative and better solutions to society’s challenges. We have a nation to protect such that we eliminate danger and even the fear of danger. May all of our people be able to live their lives in the light of peace and the glow of broadening prosperity,” Tinubu stated.

Tinubu said an important step toward restoring economic normalcy has been taken by the Supreme Court’s judgement on the naira redesign policy, noting that the order has restored both the rule of law and economic decency.

“But this is not the end of the story. It is merely the beginning of a more comprehensive solution to our economic challenges.

“Our Renewed Hope Action Plan outlines goals for greater economic growth in our cities and rural communities. We are committed to an economy of double-digit GDP growth, greater food security, and one with a strengthened manufacturing base as well as an active digital economy where young people will have ample space to fulfill their dreams and aspiration,” he added.

He urged Nigerians to embrace and work with his government, reaching out to those who did not support him in the election.

“Those who voted for me, I ask that you continue to believe in our policies and plans for the country. I also ask that you reach out to your brothers and sisters who did not vote as you did. Extend to them the hand of friendship, reconciliation, and togetherness.

“To those of you who did not vote for me, I ask you to believe in Nigeria and in the capacity of your fellow citizens, even those who voted differently than you. The better Nigeria I seek is not just for me and my supporters. It is equally yours.

“I do not ask you to abandon your political preferences. That would be undemocratic. I do beseech you to answer the call of patriotic duty as the loyal opposition.

“Remain loyal to the cause of a greater, more tolerant, and just Nigeria. I too shall keep faith with this objective.

“If we all play our proper roles, we shall begin the task of rebuilding our national home together, day by day, brick by brick notwithstanding our political differences.”

Politics / Obi Supported Naira Redesign Policy. What's His Stance Now by Oluwatoyink(m): 7:04am On Mar 13, 2023
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has urged Nigerians to be patient with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) over the redesigned currency, saying it has “some significant long-term economic and social benefits.”

Mr Obi made the appeal in a tweet on Sunday morning.

“I urge Nigerians to bear with the CBN and Federal Government with the hope that the general populace and Nigeria will harvest the gains that will come with the reforms,” Mr Obi said in the tweet.

“The currency redesign is not peculiar to Nigeria. It is an exercise that comes with some inconvenience and pain but it has significant long-term economic and social benefits. Even though there are improvements that can be made,” said Mr Obi, who was the chairman of Fidelity Bank before becoming the governor of the South-east state of Anambra......"

Politics / We Got 99% Not 97% In The SE, LP Cries Foul by Oluwatoyink(m): 6:46am On Mar 13, 2023
The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, LP-PCC, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, of massive rigging and falsification of election results in the south east against its candidate Peter Obi.

The LP-PCC spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo, who made the allegations via while speaking in Sunday, claimed that the results were rigged against of the main opposition party labour Party, LP.

He said: “There’s massive rigging and falsification of results in collation centres against Labour Party by INEC officials.

“Please Obidients should pile pressure on this man for allowing the delay of uploading presidential election results to the INEC server.”

He also called on international bodies to put pressure on INEC to upload the results of the presidential election on its server.

“This is now the official face of electoral fraud in Nigeria. We should not wait for them to announce the stolen results before we act. Everyone should upload the results they have and be cross-checking what INEC is uploading.

“The international community must put pressure on INEC to upload the presidential results now without delay to avoid unnecessary breakdown of law and order.”

Mr Okonkwo added that painful death awaits whoever rigs the election.

“Whoever rigs this election against @PeterObi will die a painful death from the Almighty God and the time starts now.

“They will perish in most disastrous circumstances. This is one election they cannot steal by the grace of God,” he added.

Politics / Re: 20 Governors Lost Their State In Largely Rigged Elections by Oluwatoyink(m): 7:56pm On Mar 10, 2023
Donjazet2:
This op is as foolish as they come!

That the election was mirred in irregularities does not mean all the votes did not count.

We have already seen the clearest proof in rivers.

We have seen soo many results on the INEC portal where the results sheets were clearly tampered with and numbers heavily mutilated. Across the different states.

For instance, official results for Bauchi local government has LP at 158, meanwhile the results on IREV portal is showing 5,000 votes across some selected polling units there.

Only a fool would look at this election and try and give it complete credibility. It doesn't have to be if or "or". That some results were more accurate than others does not mean some places were not heavily rigged. Get your head out of the sand you ostrich.

But I said it was heavily rigged. Why the insults now

There is this Lady that handles one Facebook page for me. I was supposed to give her 5k February 9. My phone spoilt by early February and I just fixed it recently.

My lack of being online affected my inability to raise the funds.

I didn't block her but kept replying her messages despite her threats and insults.

She stays in Lagos , I stay in Kaduna.

I received a call from a police man here in Kaduna , that I have been reported.

How many years will I get if sentenced
