How do one deal with the feeling of failure?
Lemme use my story as an example;
Finished secondary school at 16, have to stay back at home and forfeit even my first admission because of fund. Stayed at home and worked for 5-6 year before going back to school. At that time most of my classmate are graduates. Graduated and finished Service at 28. No job, (most job age limit are plain ridiculous for entry level), relationship is nothing to write home about and no money.
I see most of my childhood working and doing well, some married with kids (my best friend have 4 kids with a great career), I'm not desperate for marriage though. But, that feeling of underachieved, that feeling of I'm not where I'm supposed to be, considering what I have been through is really depressing, in less than 3 month time I will 29, yet I ain't seeing no silver lining.
How do I deal with these feelings ?

no bro,if the name doesnt match you can write the test,i wrote the test b4 our first NYSC allowee payment and not until i wanted to withdraw my 2nd allowee dat access bank inform me of an err in my name and bvn record with skye,dey themselve didnt see the mistake at skybank,i guess datz wat affected mine,if anyone isn't selected go to ur bank (where you did ur bvn registration) and complain and correct it,A misspelt name can spell odi for it

That's not the info we had, we were meant to believe that people that were unable to write the test was because of their bvn didn't tally with their name.

I for one don't have issue with bvn and many others too, I only use a two name format from my childhood till date.
Abeg make I free npower matter.

I'm not trying to defend this government, because it's practically indefensible. But in my approach to things, I argue in support of due process. Politicians will always tamper with things - following due process to some percentage so that the populace will not bad-mouth the whole process. My point is that before criticizing, ensure you meet all requirements.

See my brother I understand that, it's not everyone that will benefit from this scheme but my problem is npower toying with people's intelligence and time.
Why were we made to write the test?
If they say it's for graduate only, I know many education graduate with good grade that wasn't selected for nteach, I know someone that read business administration that was selected for nhealth.
Mind you, if your bvn doesn't correspond with your name, then you won't even write the test.

So why put us through the stress of writing useless test, stress of waiting only to dash our hope.

I'm yet to understand their criteria for selection.

Well anyone dependent on this our government is on their own.

Obviously, I was not pre selected for N-Teach because I answered 33 questions well and I had a degree in education. If education is the key, Nigeria is the lock.

I'm yet to understand why we were made to write test, if they are obviously not going to use the test.
I understand it's not everyone that will benefit from the scheme, but why not go about it, why put us through the stress of writing primary 6 English test and few current affairs. Even the STEM questions wasn't difficult.

The test was a walkover, I don't know the processes and criteria of your selection. Why give the test if the test is not one of the criteria?
Don't even bother with bvn issue, because if your bvn and name doesn't match, you won't be able to write the test.

You guys started early with the foul play, I thought it was going to be at the verification that the mago mago will start.

Nteach was worse, with others answering just 11 questions, we answered 33 questions, questions that I will answer all over again even in my sleep.

I'm disappointed, but it's well!

I'm not asthmatic. I grew up in the north where the harmattan comes with so much dust, schooled in Maiduguri, where the raining season comes with sandstorm. Sandstorms that looks as if the world is about to end (if you experiencing it for the first time), and I have never experienced such. My elder said, she thinks I'm reacting to molds in the house (Lagos houses are prone to it) and it would stop when it stops raining. I wouldn't know for sure, although I have an appointment with an ent doc on 30th.

Did I mention that I get better outdoor. Also, I feel bit better of recent, it's no longer as bad as it was.

Guess an I need a strong allergy medicine because loratadine and priton does nothing for me.

I have been having running nose and congestion for almost 4 weeks now. I went to a pharmacy close to me, was given priton, but it didn't clear, I went back and told them. They gave me loratadine, erthromycin and white vitamin c. I have finish taking it but it didn't stop. I don't have any other symptoms of cold neither do I feel sick, but my nose keep blocking.
I have also used otirivine nasal drop, was advise not to use use it for more than 3 days. Each time I use it, it decongest my nose for like 5-7 hours and then it becomes congested again.
Please what do I do

I think I'm reacting to something, was having this problem in July, I travelled to Kano to see my my parent and without medication it cleared, during my a month and a week stay in Kano, I don't have anything like catarrh talkmore of nasal congestion, but after a day I came back to Lagos I started experiencing it again.
Last week I went to the general hospital, saw an ent nurse, asked me to get abnesol-n nasal drop and to continue with my steam inhalation and booked an appointment for me with the doctor on the 30th.
Although I didn't buy the nasal drop, because anytime I use nasal drop, the rebound effect is just terrible but I continued with my steam inhalation and saline wash, I feel a bit better but the congestion is not cleared, one nose is always blocked at a time, though the fuming nose has reduce.
I'm likely reacting to something I'm my house?
Any suggestions pleasen

So I gave this female Frnd of mine N50k to help solve her personal problems...and it wasn't a loan or anything.
It was just a gift....but nowadays I noticed she's way nicer Dan normal, she comes to house to hangout, cook and all, but I'm not feeling all that. When I called her attention to it, she said no guy has ever given her anything for free, dat I Shuld get used to her been nice or fork her and close the deal.

We live in a world where ppl hardly assist one without asking for something in return.
I suggest you talk to her, tell her you took her as a friend and sis, and you have it it, that's why you assisted her. Tell her you ain't comfortable with the over niceness, let her just be herself. Anytime she tries cooking for you, give her an excuse, just object it, reduce the hanging out to the way you guys use you to be. If she still insist of being over nice after all this, then na another thing she dey find o (a green light maybe).

BTW, if I give you two reason, you go reason me the money

I'm quite sure you're an introvert. You shouldn't make yourself unhappy or uncomfortable just to make others happy. I think you should start doing things the 'Normal You' wouldn't do.

Naaaa I'm not an introvert. I'm easy going and friendly though most times I love my own company
I just have good reasons to why we can't stay together, just that I can't say them.(Like if I say it out, I'm doing something wrong)

I have heard not so good experiences, released that the few friends I have are just there because of what you can do for them. I have been in low points, reached out, call for days, they won't even pick, but if the revise is the case I rush to their aid. I don't get mad or keep malice. But this not the reason.

That's my major problem, I just don't know how to go about it.

I just want to keep quiet about somethings, because the aim is not to slander her, but to look for a way to pass the message to her, that we just can't live together.

You know the law of karma, she might need something from her now or later.

I get the karma part, but if you know my history with her (part of the reason I'm cold feet about her coming). Most time other people tell me, why do I allow her(not just her)to always take advantage of me.
I'm a kinda of person that goes length for people I call friend, get nothing in return but will still help that person over and over.
I hate miss understanding or quarrels, gives me sleepless night.

She stayed with me during the last days of our final year, mehnn it wasn't a wow experience and I kept quiet about it, never complained.
