marshman293: see how u guys are insulting one another's state and some fools are still talking of Biafra.Do u guys realise that Enugu was the capital of anambra state? Why won't the north and the west continue with their divide and rule syndrome. How many times have u seen yorubas insult their fellows from other States even Hausa's that portray the greatest syndrome of unity in Nigeria. Hardly would u see.The Igbo's have continue to become a laughing in the eyes of other tribes for disunity and pull him down syndrome Anambrans And delta state are not Biafra you Wawa udi Abangwas Mbaise IMO and Abakaliki people can form Biafra republic we are okay with our states Anambra is industrial city while Delta is oil city we are okay Anambra and delta state are one Anambra state gov and delta state government will soon build railway that will connect both city to have one strong economic. |

You're obviously damaged, so there is no point responding to you. why are we calling Chinese in everything can't we do this put industries factory's in our state and leave this Chinese with there Corny slave matter |

Obi1kenobi: Err......no, olodo. "Basic things" are schools, roads, water supply, erosion control, investments in agriculture and vocational training, etc. An airport is not a basic thing. If built in the wrong place, it becomes an avenue for waste and subsequent rot due to low patronage. Enugu and Owerri airports are barely surviving. Asaba airport after how many years is still struggling badly and Delta is one of the biggest state economies in Nigeria with massive budgets. I know you like to deceive yourselves with the size of Anambra's economy, but Anambra does not have enough high-net-worth individuals to make an airport viable. Even Anambrarians I know that can afford air travel will still enter Hiace bus or Sienna vehicle to travel.
And no, nothing has left the station. In the next 10 years, the airport will remain a pipe dream. the Airport project is going I visit the site last week but security men stop me to enter the site , one idiot Hausa Army nearly shot me because I do strong head to enter and look the site I will try to use drove camera when visited the site next time . |

Officialgarri: This bridge was commissioned by the then Prime Minister late Alhaji Tafawa Balewa and opened for traffic in December 1965... barely 15 days after, The same Balewa was assassinated by the people he commissioned the bridge for.
Two years later, the same people destroyed what was built for them. afonja alarm Ndigbo beware of this afonjas. |
